Nice hotel and can be reached by tram no.10 from airport or central train station which is stopped a bit in front of the hotel. But no air conditioner in the room it is not comfort to sleep during summer time. For other seasons would be comfortable.
Enjoyed a single accumadating room- very clean and comfortable- nice bar and supper friendly staff - the Main Street view was entertaining and refreshing- call or text the hotel for bus details from train station- it's literally a 6-7 min ride up street!! It was a pleasure ! Thanks!

The hotel was charming and extremely accommodating. We had many extra requests and lots of questions about the town and the location and they always had a helpful answer and a great attitude. The metro station was right outside the hotel making local transit easy and effortless. the rooms were a nice size with good amenities. there was a supermarket, bakery and drug store on our block and an excellent hotel restaurant and a very nice restaurant right next door. The price was perfect and we received much more than we paid for. I would absolutely choose this hotel again.

This hotel is great! Good location, perfect service, clean and well-equipped rooms. The Bauhaus building is also very nice. It's not cheap, but it is worth the money.
needed an easy place to stay one night in Zurich while passing through, and this hotel was just right. comfortable. nice.
The hotel is old with a slight facelift. Taking the stairs is quicker than the 50 year old elevator. We stayed during July, so it was hot and there is NO air conditioning. The tiny fan provided did nothing to alleviate the heat and leaving the windows open let all the street noise in...and there was a lot. The tram stops at all hours right outside the hotel which is convenient but noisy. Due to the heat and noise, we got no sleep for the 3 nights we stayed. When asked, the hotel said there was no airport shuttle. The Internet is 24CHF (~$23) per day. Nothing in the minibar, not even water. Overall, not a pleasant experience and definitely overpriced.
Nice hotel, but doesn't deserve the "boutique" title! The staff is amazing, really friendly and helpful. Nice rooms (each one is unique), but really cramped shower stalls. Close to a tram stop, and zurich is such a small city that location hardly matters. Good for a quick and comfy stay at a no frills price.
Small room. Fine. No AC. Noisy above street. Good value though if you get in cheap.
The location is ideal for a Zurich trip, its clean, staff is good but the road noise is super super loud, the temperature was such that we had to keep windows open as there isn't any air-conditioning (in a 4*, who would have thought!!) you can hear every lorry, tram, bus, car, bicycle, ambulance. No sleep guaranteed. We complained and they gave us a silent side room, was also good, not much noise can be heard, but they did charge us 50 bucks a night extra over the agreed rate.
The staff at this hotel was very helpful especially condidering English is not their first language. They knew enough to help me on my trip
We were just there for one night on a quick stopover and found this Hotel to be very modern and cozy and convenient. The service was excellent, warm and very friendly and I would absolutely refer this place to anyone coming through Zurich. The room was so welcoming and inviting. The only downside was that the duvet was a little small for the bed and the beds were stiff, but that's a personal preference. I can't say enough good things about the staff, though! They were superb!

Dear K, thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay. The building of our hotel is under a preservation order which makes it very difficult to install an air conditioning. We try our best to provide you a cool room with putting fans inside, closing the curtains and bottle of water in the minibar. One of the advantages of our house is the central location due to that the noise from the street and the public transport could be disturbing.
