This little place is a gem in the rough and so convenient to the Royal Gorge Railway, shopping and historic district of Canon City! Don’t let the “ghetto” aspect of driving through the rough looking part of town fool you because it’s all a facade, because the best part of this town is at the far side. This little motel is clean, well kept and updated to look like a four star HOTEL. My only, tiny gripe was the heater, because it baked me like a Cornish hen. But the continental breakfast was awesome, and the room was clean and had anything and everything we could have asked for. Thank you for this diamond in the high desert it was a breath of fresh air.
Nice clean low-frills room. Street side room was a little noisy with the traffic. Very convenient walking distance to old town Canon City and the Royal Gorge train station.
Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Good location. Nice size rooms.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Parkview end. This family owned inn is run with heart and soul put into it. The rooms are clean, comfortable and welcoming. Our room had amenities such as a microwave, full refrigerator/freezer, a 4 burner stove with oven. Being on the West end of Canon City it was within walking distance of beautiful downtown and the Royal Gorge Route Railroad along with the Arkansas river and the beauty of the riverwalk pathway to enjoy. We can only say positive things about our stay at the Parkview Inn. The free breakfast area which included homemade cinnamon buns was clean and comfortable with big windows overlooking into a nice town park. We would not hesitate to stay again or suggest that any friend or family member do the same. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful visit to Canon City!
