Although the hotel is a little old/faded, it had a lot of charm about it. The rooms are furnished in quite a basic style, but were clean and tidy. Although there was some (very basic) toiletries in the bathroom, I would take your own! The staff though were absolutely charming and helpful

Old but nice service and clean rooms. Its located near the center and u can reach the sea in 10 min. The morning bufe is enough for breakfast. The internet could be faster. In generally a good experince and i will be glad to visit again it

This 3star hotel is really old and everyewhere is really old smell. When you enter this hotel, you can smell it very strongly. When we came back from our holiday, the clothes smell like that and also we smell like that. it really needs some reconstruction, also new furniture. The walls are thin, so you can hear quite a lot. But.. The position of the hotel is a good deal. The hotel is not so expencive and to the downtown, you have to cross just a street. The rooms are little, but quite enough comfortable, also the bathroom is good, with a shower. The staff was very neat, especially the staff at hotel´s restaurant! Very professional and really nice people with good manners to the guests. The breakfast was everyday the same... So, on the fifth day, we were fed up of croissants, jam, one type of cheese and ham.... But dinner was really super. You can choose between two type of food and the dinner is of three dishes, so now it was a 3star! Regarding the wifi, it is so annoying, because you have to register and log in always with some different password. Some websites are blocked. Well, I dont understand, if this hotel is only for old people. We stayed during the Easter holiday and the guests were old women of age 60-70. Maybe, that is why there is this old smell everywhere. The celaning was quite fine, but if would be better put enought much more in this... The cleaness of restaurant and reception was fine. Well, if you prefer cheap, not luxury staying, quite close to downtown, this could be for you. But be aware of beggars, that are on the street, where is Le Floreal situated...

Thisi is not a bad location although a 10-15 min walk to the croissette. Basic furniture, not so good bathroom and basic breakfast. Amazingly I went to breakfast early and the staff were sitting there eating there's and didn't acknowledge me or say bonjour or anything. One even pushed in front of me to get a coffee!! I guess for the time I went it wasn't a bad price.

the people working at the hotel are very friendly, so it's a shame the property feels really old and musty. it's fine for a budget traveler but not for anyone looking for more than bare bones place to sleep. TVs very old and not many channels, rooms are showing their age and linens, etc not very nice. all mostly clean but the shower was so old in the room that it just looked dirty and rusty. its mostly filled with an elderly clientele except during the film festival and maybe the TV markets. just know to only expect a basic room in a very old fashioned style.

I've stayed in many Cannes hotels over many years of work visits and have no hesitation in recommending this one. Friendly, comfortable, reasonably priced, close to the centre - with the feel of a French hotel rather than a business hostel. Excellent.

It was almost a year ago since I stay at this hotel but, I still remember their great hospitality that this hotel has offer, It was very lovely. Its a value hotel. Its a quite and nice hotel. I was stay in this hotel during the Cannes Lions festival, that become one of the reason that I choose this hotel because it is very close to with the venue, Palais des Festivals.

Yah what to say about Le Floreal. It's an old hotel and that shows. We stayed there with some people of my company in total we had 5 rooms. The rooms are old but clean . The size of the rooms are not all the same. I was lucky to have a good size room, but one of my friends had a room not much bigger then a double bed. The hotel has no restaurant but there is a breakfast room. At the reception you can get some drinks but a simple glass of whine was not available. The hotel has a nice garden that is also a little worn down. The location of the hotel is not bad about 10 to 15 min walk from the centre. Breakfast is ok. You can boil eggs and there is fresh bread every morning. The beds are good and it is clean. Irritations? One day i come back in the afternoon. My room was cleaned but the bathroom was forgotten. I mentioned this to the reception but also told them it was not a big problem. When coming back after a few hours nothing changed. I told them it was ok but still they could have changed at least the towels. One night at 2 am the door of the hotel was locked and it took 20 min to get the receptionist to open the door. Did i feel unhappy in this hotel... No. Will I come back mmmm not sure.

The hotel itself was clean and the staff were very friendly. It is easy walking distance into Cannes. We had a double room which wasn't huge but very clean and the bathroom was a good size. The breakfast was a simple continental affair but with plenty of choice. The only downside I would say is definitely from a ladies perspective.... there wasn't a hairdryer in the bathroom and there wasn't a mirror in the bedroom (although was one over the sink in the bathroom) so getting ready for an evening took a little more time! If I went back to Cannes I would definitely book up again.

The lobby is worn down, the corridors are dark, and the rooms are clamp with the tinyest bathroom I have ever seen. If I was on a last minute charter holiday it would be ok, but on a business trip paying 350 euro per night I would expect a bathroom not a closet, internet in the room (the one in the lobby is not reliable and shuts down every other minute), a real breakfast not cheap continental with bread and three types of jam, not being a 15 minutes walk from the palais and literarally next to highway in Cannes. The hotel is in serious need of new furniture or lower prices. On the good side you are only to minutes walk from the beach.
