Rooms are clean and airy, staff is responsive.. First I would like to thanks Asha for helping me in planning a surprise for my husband by decorating our room for our first wedding anniversary..loved it!! Three cheers to all the staff of Phoenix park inn from security, room service, help desk, in room dining, staff of chapora restaurant for being responsive and polite.3 stars coz I guess Phoenix park inn can do better with their breakfast spread as we stayed for 4 days and there was very little variations in breakfast , needs to take more measures to kill mosquitoes( I guess it might be due to rains), wifi in the rooms needs to be address but overall we had amazing time!! Thanks for the hospitality:)
Awesome place. Very close to beach. Nice hotel want to come again. Specally thanks to Mohammed zuber from housekeeping. Outstanding service give by. Very humble very helpful lovely place all the best everyone nice pool good keep it up. Nice 😊
So. We got an excellent deal -20k for 4n/5d through an agent with all three meals So it's definitely value for money. Room are spacious and neat. Beds are small size though. Children under 12 were free. So that's an added benefit. Pool is nice. Beach is 5 mins walk. Although beach was a little dirty. Food is fantastic. For people with family and esp. small kids food is great taste not too spicy and oily. Plus on special request the chef is nice Enuf to give bland food for my baby boy. So all and all it's a great experience. Staff is polite and cooperative. Restaurant guy called debojit very nice. Just try and get the renovated rooms. First rooms we got weren't good. We argued a little and got better located rooms.
It is one of the beat hotels for couples and at affordable price. Main thing is that it is located 1 mile from candolim beach which is a walking distance and the area around it is market place and there are many options for dinner because there are many good restaurants and bars around. The other thing which describes the hotel is that the greenery in the hotel there are many plant and trees in between around the swimming poll which makes it most attractive. The resort is build in a tremendous way. One more thing which describes better is complementary breakfast there was different item different day but the regular ones which are common where served daily. Only the disadvantage is that the food which we order is very costly. So most preferable is eating out side which is not included in your package.
It is very important that a hotel clearly specifies certain details- This in my book is a big one-I booked two rooms a month back for a stay starting on 15th July- I specifically requested and was assigned two twins (one with an extra bed, we were 5 of us) however on check in I was surprised when Gaurav (the front desk agent) was equally surprised about my request he then explained to me that the hotel has NO TWIN BEDS and all their rooms are outfitted with queen beds (and not too big for two adult males) needless to say it was difficult sleeping the next two nights that I was there, the bathrooms are small and the air conditioning just did not work I mean I was left feeling hot and sweaty by morning time (we did complain once the engineer took a look it worked for a bit and then went to being hot again, I just lost hope and did not try again). The internet was slow (at best) and the breakfast was 'sad' to say the least, food was not of great quality the chef who was making Dosa's (Indian crepes) used a very dirty rag to clean his spatula (again I was too tired to make a big fuss and he seemed too not interested to listen to me) service was slow and there were too many people and food was not coming out fast enough.Pool was dirty and rules not enforced I saw people swimming with bermuda's , t-shirts anything. On the plus side the rooms were well maintained, location is good and close to lot of eating joints , for daily needs Newton's supermarket is a close 300m from the hotel (when you walk out to the main road from the hotel just turn right) they did allow us to check out 2 hrs late but small compensation for the fact that I was very uncomfortable with the non working a/c and small bed that I had to share. I got a good deal on the rates but will I stay here again-alone maybe- if nothing else in the area is available, with family or another person-NEVER!
Property located on very good location (Fort Aguada - Calangute Road). Rooms are little small. Bathroom and fitness centre is also small. Pool & Breakfast is nice. Good options in buffet breakfast. Staff is nice and corteous. Restaurant options for vegetarian guests is less & quite expensive.
We stayed for 4 nights in the hotel in June'17. The hotel is located in main Candolim area but placed in a narrow lane with no street lighting in the night. Hotel has 6-7 blocks of 6 floor buildings, each one without elevator! Each block seem to be built in a different era, some of them with window ac and 'ancient bathrooms'. Overall the rooms are comfortable and provide value for money but the bathrooms are worse than Railway retiring rooms..not even 3* category! The breakfast spread is ok but the restaurant area is not big enough to cater to 120 room property and gets terribly busy, therefore advisable to reach early. Staff seem to be untrained for what they are doing or they lack motivation to serve the guests.
Nice stay option for mid range budget. Good staff, good food. Nice, spacious & clean rooms. Some attention must be given to bathrooms. Pool Ok ok Breakfast Ok Best thing is: Walking distance from beach, may be 800 metres
Location : Not bad, not great ..about 1/2 km walk to beach What was good : Behaviour of staff, in breakfast zone and otherwise no complaints what was bad: Mosquitos, just horrifying.. may be it is rainy season, but there was no attempt to control the menace from hotel. food : Breakfast was average, nothing great about it. Noise : People around the room makes hell lot of noise mid night and hard to sleep
This hotel is one of the best in goa. I visited there with my friends a year ago. The hotel is located near candolim beach. And the market is not soo far from hotel. The pool area is bigger than i thought. Service is also good.
