It is very important that a hotel clearly specifies certain details- This in my book is a big one-I booked two rooms a month back for a stay starting on 15th July- I specifically requested and was assigned two twins (one with an extra bed, we were 5 of us) however on check in I was surprised when Gaurav (the front desk agent) was equally surprised about my request he then explained to me that the hotel has NO TWIN BEDS and all their rooms are outfitted with queen beds (and not too big for two adult males) needless to say it was difficult sleeping the next two nights that I was there, the bathrooms are small and the air conditioning just did not work I mean I was left feeling hot and sweaty by morning time (we did complain once the engineer took a look it worked for a bit and then went to being hot again, I just lost hope and did not try again). The internet was slow (at best) and the breakfast was 'sad' to say the least, food was not of great quality the chef who was making Dosa's (Indian crepes) used a very dirty rag to clean his spatula (again I was too tired to make a big fuss and he seemed too not interested to listen to me) service was slow and there were too many people and food was not coming out fast enough.Pool was dirty and rules not enforced I saw people swimming with bermuda's , t-shirts anything. On the plus side the rooms were well maintained, location is good and close to lot of eating joints , for daily needs Newton's supermarket is a close 300m from the hotel (when you walk out to the main road from the hotel just turn right) they did allow us to check out 2 hrs late but small compensation for the fact that I was very uncomfortable with the non working a/c and small bed that I had to share. I got a good deal on the rates but will I stay here again-alone maybe- if nothing else in the area is available, with family or another person-NEVER!
Property located on very good location (Fort Aguada - Calangute Road). Rooms are little small. Bathroom and fitness centre is also small. Pool & Breakfast is nice. Good options in buffet breakfast. Staff is nice and corteous. Restaurant options for vegetarian guests is less & quite expensive.
Recently on our weekend trip to Goa, we stayed in this property for two nights, wow... The amenities in this property were soo luxurious, the building structure has a vintage ambience both interior and exterior, the staffs were well trained, the property is easily approachable from any nook and corner of the city.. when we visited this property, they were renovating some part, I hope I can visit next time after renovation, such a wonderful place ...!!!
We stayed for 4 nights in the hotel in June'17. The hotel is located in main Candolim area but placed in a narrow lane with no street lighting in the night. Hotel has 6-7 blocks of 6 floor buildings, each one without elevator! Each block seem to be built in a different era, some of them with window ac and 'ancient bathrooms'. Overall the rooms are comfortable and provide value for money but the bathrooms are worse than Railway retiring rooms..not even 3* category! The breakfast spread is ok but the restaurant area is not big enough to cater to 120 room property and gets terribly busy, therefore advisable to reach early. Staff seem to be untrained for what they are doing or they lack motivation to serve the guests.
Nice stay option for mid range budget. Good staff, good food. Nice, spacious & clean rooms. Some attention must be given to bathrooms. Pool Ok ok Breakfast Ok Best thing is: Walking distance from beach, may be 800 metres
Location : Not bad, not great ..about 1/2 km walk to beach What was good : Behaviour of staff, in breakfast zone and otherwise no complaints what was bad: Mosquitos, just horrifying.. may be it is rainy season, but there was no attempt to control the menace from hotel. food : Breakfast was average, nothing great about it. Noise : People around the room makes hell lot of noise mid night and hard to sleep
This hotel is one of the best in goa. I visited there with my friends a year ago. The hotel is located near candolim beach. And the market is not soo far from hotel. The pool area is bigger than i thought. Service is also good.

We have been going to Goa for the last 10 years and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in. We were last here in December 2016 and are going back in December this year, can't wait! This will be our third visit to this hotel. We have previously booked with Thomas Cook and had a premier room and have never had any issues. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff can't do enough to help you. We haven't eaten in the restaurant in the evening as there are so many places to eat outside but the breakfast is good with plenty to choose from. It's in a really good location just off the main road with all the restaurants and bars. Thank you to all the staff who look after us and look forward to seeing you again this year.
