The hotel seems new. The staff is very friendly, kind, and helpful. The location is near the bus stop to go to hotel zone. My favorite thing was breakfast buffet. There was a variety of food. It seems like a brunche. And everyday was different. There are restaurants around and few blocks to the mall. I took the tour to Chichén Itzá and Manuel from the counter helped me schedule the tour. The price was good. My family and I were satisfied with the tour. I hightly recommend this hotel.

Haier at the front desk was amazing , although we did not get the room we reserved he was quick to offer us a credit at the restaurant. The room was still good we had reserved a 1 bed rm and got a deluxe king instead.

Stayed at the LQ by LaQuinta for four nights in March of 2017. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. No issues with a language barrier which is a plus for me as I continue to struggle with conversational Spanish. Free breakfast was provided with the package I purchased via Orbitz. Lots to choose from including fresh fruit, good coffee and traditional Mexican fare. Very tasty. Room was comfortable. Balconies on the 5th floor level are NOT PRIVATE. You might be able to get a private balcony on the 6th floor. Floors 1 through 4 do not offer a balcony. Lots of local flavor within a 5 minute walk of the lobby. The Japanese option next door Irori was exceptional.

Closed to Downtown Cancun. You can go everywhere. Nearby has a big Mall, restaurants

A nice choice for those not interested in a hotel zone AI. Bus transportation to the many hotel zone beaches is a breeze; its about a 2 block walk to the stop to get a R1 or R2. We never waited more than 5 min. for one, they're cheap and you can usually flag them down like a cab.

Francisco was EXCEPTIONAL... Im a very peculiar person and I know it.. he and the rest of the staff were very helpful.. I traveled alone and was never worried... they taught me how to get around and was able to help me understand the best route for all of my adventures... The chef is exceptional... Room service 24 hours and the food was wonderful nicely seasoned... I couldnt say enough... when I return my intent is to stay at the hotel again...they also provide a safe for storing personal items passports ect using your own combination.. never anything missing...simply wonderful

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a good stay. Lq Hotel by La Quinta is a great value. Reasonably priced, very comfortable beds, spotless rooms and a decent breakfast. There is a small nice pool in the back and a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always willing to answer all your questions with a big smile, specially Guillermo and Tere. If you need to stay in central Cancun, this is definitely and great option.

Hotel rooms are nice, and it'seems just off the hotel zone. There is some construction being done on the hotel but it didn't really impact our stay. The breakfast included with the stay was actually pretty decent. Eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, juice, along with a variety of other dishes. Also, for the price it was fantastic!

the towelsl looks like old towels , no facial towels , AC went of, we move to another roo w/ out help, the breakfast was horrible overcook, we ask the front desk to call at 3oo am for our transportation to the airport, they never did. One thing never again that one in Cancun.

Excellent experience. Super clean great staff. Comfortable beds, great breakfast

Amazing Free breakfast, Good location, very clean rooms, staff very friendly, good prices.

First of all the shower had no door after I took a shower the bathroom turned into a pool secondly the bath towels was so rough not to mention there were hair from the guest before me on the sheets. Then to top it off I got bitten by bed bugs I got up out of my sleep turned on the lights and what do I see bed bugs on the bed I called the front desk and showed the two gentlemen the bed bug I caught in a piece of tissue so they moved me my 9yr old son and my aunt to a one beded room that they said were all they had available. SMH

We had a great time. La Quinta Hotel was close to everything like the mall, food and even a 24hr OXO. The parking is indoor so your car is always safe from any elements. There are 24hr guards as well. You feel safe and the staff are so friendly. The breakfast buffet are always yummy and fresh. Mornings are always different varieties. They have a small pool but its cute. They have a small gym but nice. The hotel is very clean and they maintain it pretty well:) No complaints here!

I upgraded to the Royal Beach Club - well worth it. The rooms had patio overlooking the beach - very peaceful! The breakfast and happy hour snacks exceeded my expectations. The only disappointment was that I paid for the day spa for $10. Only the steam room was working. The jacuzzi was Cold and then drained. I was really wanting to use the jacuzzi to relax my muscles. The sauna was also cold. But otherwise everything was very good. The building could use a bit of updating - little outdated furniture!

We stopped here for one night on our way home from the Mayan Riviera and were extremely pleasantly surprised. Check out the free buffet breakfast that includes delicious chicken, quesadillas, waffles, eggs, fresh fruit, four choices of juice, etc. Their staff driver will drop you off at any local destination you want at no charge. (We used that twice.) And if a problem arises, their staff goes WAY beyond the call of duty to rectify it. (When their staff driver was running late and we had to get to our destination, the staff member behind the desk ran outside with us, hailed a cab, and then paid the taxi driver to ensure we would get to our event on time... wow!) Beautiful, immaculately clean hotel. Note: this hotel is in town, not on a beach, but that's what we were looking for.

I had visited several La Quinta Inn hotels and I didn't have an experience like this. the room is clean, good amenities that included mini bar and a microwave oven, besides a comfortable bed. I will repeat my stay here for business.

Our flight was delayed by 7 hours so we arrived at 4 am instead of 9 pm. The front desk got us to our room quickly, and sent up towels immediately. The beds we soft, and we got a a needed rest, followed by a very good breakfast.

The hotel was excellent, better price and breakfast very great, i'll recomend

We needed to book something cheap for our last night in Mexico to catch am early morning flight. Clean comfortable room and wifi worked.

great service and glad to find an nice affordable place with pet culture. Not far from the beach, but sadly Cancun beaches do not accept pets.
