We arrived and had to pay double price than was mentioned on booking. It was very late And so called "manager Iveth" was not nice at all. Breakfast Very poor And bad. Just cheapest cereals, Jam And toast.Find another place!!!
I stayed here for two nights and all was fine. Room is big enough, ac works good and the staff was very welcoming. The bathroom smelled a bit though and the toilet wasn’t flushing well. The room was clean enough. The bed was a bit so so, with annoying hard pillows. Since I was a bit sick I stayed in bed the whole day. I have since a little of the surroundings so I can tell the location of the hotel is good. It is near the ferry and lots of restaurants and shops around the corner. Also pretty close to the beach, but most places are. The breakfast is included, but nothing special at all. Terrible coffee, sort of orange juice and toast with butter and jam. There is a small pool as well, but didn’t use it. Overall a good budget hotel.
Accommodation is clean with all the basics one would need and close to the ferry and main beach. Air conditioning is wonderful and free WiFi is available. Pool is great for a quick cool down. Breakfast is very basic.
We stayed there for 2 nights. Location is good and the price is okay. Woman at the reception is nice and the only one there speaking english. Breakfast is really poor. Rooms are very basic. When we came there was no hot water. We reported and then it was ok. Pressure is very weak.
Arrived at hotel with a 3 night reservation. Was told they had no rooms available, Then had the audacity to bill my credit card, saying I never showed for reservation. Took me 4 months to get credit card refund. Stay away from this place at all costs.
It is no resort, but when visiting Isla Mujeres and you have spectacular beaches within a couple of minutes walk, who needs a resort ro sit around in?? It is small and clean, staff were very nice and helped with anything we needed. There is wifi in the rooms and worked fine most of the time (died a little during storms on last day). Pool is small, people did use it, would be great for a quick cool off dip but really, beaches are so close. Is fantastic location, close to beaches, ferry terminal, restaurants. We got a great price for the 3 nights stay. Even got complimentry breakfast which we didn't even realise until we arrived (just cereal, toast, juice and coffee..which is fine for us) Definitely keep an eye out for prices, save money for more Mojitos instead of wasting on resorts.
We stayed at this hotel for one night. Check-in went smooth. Room was small but clean. AC worked great. Shower pressure was minimal but warm. The location was ideal and very central. There is wifi in the lobby. Honestly, I didn't even ask if we had wifi in the room. The pool is so small that I am not sure anyone would use it. If you are a fussy pants, this isn't for you. It is simple and small. If you are just looking for something affordable and clean, this works!
I arrived at hotel on 2/10 to check in for a 4 night stay that I had reserved 2 weeks prior through Booking.com. I was informed by the front desk that my reservation had been mysteriously canceled (not by me) and their were no rooms available. As Isla Mujeres is very booked up at this time, there were no other rooms available on short notice. I suspect the room had been resold at a higher price. I was forced to take a ferry back to Cancun to find lodgings. Then the Hotel Caracol has the audacity to charge me a $100 cancellation fee. I had to protest the charge through Booking.com. If you look on other travel sites, this hotel has numerous negative feedbacks deriving from similar situations. Do your reseach. This is NOT a place you want to stay.
Typical small hotel room but very clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Check in was a breeze but they do collect that extra tax so be ready! I had room #4 downstairs. Convenient. Great AC, hot water and wi fi. Easy to walk there from the ferry too. Another short walk to the beach. Coffee and juice in the morning plus toast and there is a box of cornflakes if you like. I would go there again. oh and a small pool too.
This hotel is located near the center, near the beach, near supermarket but is quiet and relaxed. We went two times to this hotel. The price - quality is perfect for Isla Mujeres. Everything is a 2 - 10 minute walk. The rooms are situated in a garden that gives shadow and makes it fresh. The swimming pool is small, but looked good. The first time we had the big room with King bed and small balcony which was great. But also the smaller rooms are good. There is 1 room, the cheapest that has view on the street, that one is more for backpackers. It takes some time for the shower to heat up and not a strong water pressure. But it is fine. The people working are great and speak English. Security guard at night for safety. Internet works, sometimes a little less cause you are on an island, but overall it works very good in every room. If you arrive from the ferry it is a 5 - 10 minute walk to the hotel. Isla Mujeres is a great Island for relaxing on the beach and enjoy all of the great restaurants. I will choose this hotel again when i go to isla mujeres.
