A/C unit stopped working about 2am, we were given a new room at that time but it only had 1 bed and we had a double room before, we were compensated with the reimbursement of the $50.00 extra charge for additional adults for the inconvenience. I would not recommend, pool hours were not posted and we were asked to leave pool area at 9:30 PM

Had a fantastic time here. The bed was a little firm, I like soft bed. It was great for my husband back. Definitely plan on going back.

Rooms are very basic on their furniture and decoration. The bed is quite big but the mattress is too hard to sleep on it. The breakfast is basic as the hotel itself. Overall it is an expensive hotel for what it offers.

We wanted to getaway from city and we did not regret choosing isla mujeres for our weekend getaway. The hotel Bahia Chac chi and the staff were so nice and friendly. The restaurants we ate at was very good.

Excellent experience! Great staff! Only nit that I have is for the hotel computer to be connected to the printer and for the computer keyboard to be upgraded. The keyboard is not marked with either the @ symbol or the underscore symbol.

I loved this hotel. You can walk into Hildalgo St where most of the restaurants and shops are. Plus it's only a few minutes to the beach. The mattress is REALLY firm so if that's a concern, you may want to go somewhere else. For some reason a lot of the hotels have similar mattresses!

Loved staying here. Close to ferry, can see both sides of Isla, easy to walk to restaurants and beaches!

The hotel is smaller than it looks in the web photos but it is quite a nice little place. The staff were very helpful and friendly and had good english. The llocation is fabulous. Very easy to get anywhere downtown but though it says it's across from a beach it's not. It's across the street from the water but there are buildings and facilities across the street with no beach; but playa del norte is a short walk.

Hotel Bahia Chac Chi is in a good location. It is away from the night noise from bars and disco but is close to the beach and a short walk to North Beach swimming area. I like the slight isolation of its location. There are nice restaurants on the beach about 5 minutes walking from the hotel. The hotel is excellently maintained compared to any hotel in any country in the world. Rooms, hallways, stairways, lobby are spotless. Staff is very polite and helpful. The only thing I could complain about is the lobby is exposed to the street so some noise is present but this is a very minor issue for I didn't hang out in the lobby. There is a room just off the lobby with a computer that is sealed off from the street noise and it is air-conditioned. The hotel provides a nice breakfast that is actually healthy if you chose to make it that way (fresh fruits, yogurt, and various breakfast grains, bread, coffee, etc.) I suppose some people like to spend $400+ per night far down the island, but I would always take Hotel Bahia Chac Chi over those. I can't think of a way to make it a better experience.

Upon arrival I was surprised that the hotel wasn't as modern as it looked in the photos but it was very clean and fresh. The location is excellent as it's very close to the main square and all of the stores and restaurants. Also when you step off the passenger ferry you are within a stone's throw of the hotel lobby (if you take the car ferry it's a bit longer). If you plan on doing a whale shark tour, snorkeling trip, fishing charter, etc, it's a great spot to be as most of the boats are moored within a few blocks. All in all if was a very pleasant experience aside from one thing - I lost my credit card and needed to call the company desperately to put a hold on it but the woman at the front desk refused to let me use the hotel phone saying they only allow toll free calls even though I assured her it was a toll free number. she seemed disinterested and wouldn't help aside from saying 'theres a place down the street with a pay phone'

Friendly staff in a great location with great views, nice pool, centrally located!

The hotel is close to everything, it was extremely clean and hotel staff was very nice. The rooms were comfortable and looked high end, the bed linens had a higher thread count then some places I've stayed and nice blankets. They changed them everyday which was nice. We did have a few issues that could happen no matter where you go and they were remedied quickly. We lost hot water the 2nd day but they immediately fixed it then our air conditioner went out (I think due to warmer Temps than usual) and after they found they could not fix it immediately they moved us to a nicer room. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone. I will warn people that the breakfast they have is a true continental breakfast not anything else, toast, cereal, some fruit, coffee and juice. The pool is a little small but very very nice. We had a great time and will stay here again in the future.

Great location- close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. They assisted with renting a golf cart. Fresh towels to being to the beach everyday. Would stay again! Beautiful view.

Hotel staff is very friendly room is nice and clean. And the hotel is really closed to the ferry. We enjoyed our stay there.

Beautiful hotel. Although our room wasn't ready when we arrived and we had to wait about an hour, the staff was very friendly, courteous, and professional. We only had a pool view which was ok, so I would suggest spending the extra money for the magnificent ocean view!

The girls and I only stayed here one night, but that one night was very pleasant. This hotel is located within walking distance from the ferry, beach, bank, and restaurants. It'll be easy for you to get around without transportation. If walking is too much, you can also find golf carts and scooters to rent a couple of blocks away. Each staff member I encountered was friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean and if you're lucky enough to get a bay view room on the third floor or higher, you will not be disappointed! The pool is small, but with the beach being so close, I don't think many people use it. The continental breakfast was pretty decent, but if you're expecting pastry, eggs, and sausage...you may want to skip having breakfast here and dine in one of the local restaurants. They also have purified water so you can refill your water bottles! Make sure you visit the Icebar near the dolphins and turtles!

This hotel exceeded expectations - would return. It was clean, quiet and very well kept in a great location.

This hotel was wonderful. Great a/c, awesome view of the bay and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The contract stated that breakfast ended at 10:00 they said was incorrect and breakfast ended at 9:00. Breakfast was basic and they skimped big time!!! Orange Juice was good but bread was basic white,no tortillas and mostly apples for fruit. Sugary cereal, and and cheap yogurt. Also said if we booked with this website that we would get tickets to visit the Dolphin Ride but they did not honor that and said I could just go and tell them I stayed at the hotel and they would let me in. That was a lie on the hotels part. View was ugly cause I was on first floor so I had a view overlooking a dirty one star hotel. Also toilet leaked most the time. Hotel tried to fix it twice but sometimes I fill the tank with water myself!! Pool was nice but small and unhetaed and gets NO SUN!!!

The hotel is very near to the ferry terminal (3 mins walk) with balcony and ocean view, the hotel is renew and very clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good enough. Banks are near and the golf car rental is also very near. :)
