I had a lovely experience at Aria Hotel. Everything was spotless, the staff very pleasant, and the ease of checking in and out made it a place I will return to. It was great to have simple wifi access, free parking and a choice of venues with delicious food.
Nice fitout, but too much noise from the adjoining rooms and doors opening and closing. You need a car as it's too far from the city centre. Lucky we only stayed overnight, will consider other better options in the city next time
This hotel was either fairly new or recently refurbished. The room was modern and very clean, the bed very comfortable. Staff were both friendly and professional. Location was only about a 10 min walk to the main restaurants and bars. Would definitely recommend this hotel for visitors to Canberra.
We stayed in the self contained room. It was beautiful, not much of a view. But the room was clean and tidy, really felt like I was in an up market hotel without the big price tag. The staff were more than helpful- even coming up to turn our air-con on we didn't know how to use. The shopping center was literally a 7 min drive away, it was quiet and a very very nice place to stay.
Very Central, great rooms great service. Easy parking staff go above and beyond to accomodate highly recommended. Second time staying there, get a room high up as some great views. Easy secure parking
We stayed at Aria on a recent visit to Canberra. The hotel is very new and the rooms are well-appointed, modern, comfortable and clean. Of note is the possibility to have a two or one bedroom apartment. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it is centrally located. One minor point to note is that the gym (in the neighbouring hotel as advertised on Aria's website) is very small and couldn't be used by more than 2 people at a time - minor issue but worth noting if this is important for you.
We just had 2 nights in this lovely hotel while in Canberra. All staff were friendly, professional and helpful. We had a one bedroom apartment, just great. It had everything we needed and was very clean. We had breakfast and dinner at the Atrium restaurant in the sister hotel, the Pavilion. It was a very short walk to the restaurant and the food and service was wonderful. I have an allergy and asked a lot of questions, especially at dinner. Nothing was too much trouble. I noticed that the room included a desk and good light which is important if I come here for work, and there is a business centre as well. We were very impressed, this will be our Canberra accomodation now! We highly recommend it.
Aria offers modern well equipped rooms and a good size with the 2 adjoining rooms and offering a lounge area and kitchen. Very good for self catering but only light meals, coffee etc on site. Full buffet restaurant and bar at next door hotel. Rooms were very well serviced and maintained. A quiet location off the main street and very handy to the city.
A nice modern hotel in a quiet street. Room was clean and comfortable with a small balcony. Everything worked satisfactorily. There was a small cafe in the lobby area that provided basic fare. The restaurant/breakfast area and bar are in the sister hotel just across from the carpark. Although just a stone's throw, the area is uncovered and some might find it off putting walking back and forth in the rain or the bitter Canberra cold in winter. Bed was quite soft (maybe too soft for some), but otherwise comfortable. Other than that, well worth the price.
Great find. Efficient and friendly staff. Would be excellent for families, retirees and business travellers. Great buffet breakfast at a very reasonable price. Would stay again and would recommend to family and friends.
