Far from Sydney CBD, but close to a train station, this is a decent budget option for when you don't want to deal with the hassle and cost of driving into town and looking for (expensive) parking. Perfectly adequate for a good night sleep.
Nice place to stay but our room was down stairs far right where many people were starring at us. Appeared to be single moms with small kids living at the motel. This just kinda ruined it for me--so sad. If our room had been at the far left we probably would have never noticed.
This is not a fancy chain motel, but it has all the essentials.
This is a hostel house that is way overpriced for bankstown area (even the locals told me I overpaid for a hostel). For $60 a night you can find a better hotel/motel. When I first arrived to this "getaway house" I had no information sent to me to enter and its a self check in there is no hotel staff. I spent 20 minutes calling different numbers which no one picked up, I had to wait outside the house with all my suitcases until someone called me back. The walls in the room are very dirty and scuffed up. You use a community fridge in the kitchen but other people take your food. Someone else staying there asked for help turning on the channels so he can watch the game, we spent 20 minutes trying to get the channels on then I offered to call phone numbers provided and guess what no answer. You are not allowed to park in the driveway but the street doesn't have much to offer either and the parking spot you do find on the street the neighbors leave you notes on the windshield to park at your own house. Train station is 15 minutes walking. Sydney harbor is about 45 min away via train. Although it is not safe to walk in town after it gets dark.I travel quite often and I stayed in Sydney area for 3 weeks, by far this place was most overpriced and falsely advertised....STAY AWAY
friendly staff. Convenient location. Minutes walk from food and supermarket.
Stayed here a few times. Great price, good location. Awesome for parking. And the staff are on point! Max is a great host. Will def go back.
