Comfort Inn Campbellton2.5 out of 5.0

Very easy to get to, and a short drive from everything in town. The only negative comment about the stay was at breakfast. There was a tour bus group who were overwhelming the small breakfast area (and staff) by their large numbers all eating at once. Ended up waiting for new food to be prepared and had to take breakfast back to the room to eat. The staff did a good job trying to keep up with the crowd. With its convenient location (close to Sugarloaf Mall, Atlantic Superstore grocery store, and Walmart on one side, and the main city centre on the other) the location is perfect. Had a room facing the main road - traffic noise was no problem at night. Overall enjoyed the stay and will stay here again next time in Campbellton.
I stayed at this motel on my way to the Gaspe. The hotel was clean and staff seemed friendly. The girl serving breakfast went out of her to be helpful and was extremely busy due to a tour group staying there also. I feel they should have had someone giving her a hand. Also the breakfast area is very small for the hotel size and number of guests that could arrive for breakfast.
I'm here in the room as I write, beds are clean, room is clean, ac works very well. Bathroom is clean, coffee maker, mee size fridge and microwave in the room. Happy with my stay, price is right. Close to everything,
Only stayed one night as we were passing through on a road trip but we were very happy with the hotel and our room. The room was big and the beds comfortable and quiet and we slept well. The wifi was fast and free. Breakfast was fairly basic but was good and we were given the option of bacon and scrambled eggs if we wanted. Would be happy to stay again.
Comfort Inns are pretty well very similar and this was no exception: very nice and clean, including bathroom, wi-fi was fine as was TV, very helpful friendly staff with the morning breakfast lady hurrying to try to make sure that we had everything we could want. Our 2nd floor room was quiet and fine but access to all 2nd floor rooms is only from one end or the other of the motel...I would not want to be trying to leave in a hurry in case of a very unlikely fire emergency. Overall fine and economical too.
the room was okay, a little dark in color. The staff were the best ,very friendly and kind to us..The breakfast was one of the best we ever had and there was a lot of different things to choose from. The hotel was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay.
Nice hotel and super friendly people! Daniel and Vanessa get gold stars for going above and beyond for their amazing hospitality and friendliness. Daniel did his best to ensure I was able to watch The Tragically Hip pre-show during dinner! He is awesome and will go out of his way to ensure you a fantastic stay! I would def go back just for the amazing service both he and Vanessa provided. The rooms are clean and Queen sized beds are always a perk! There is a fridge in the room as well. Overall, if I ever go back to Dalhousie, I would stay here. The restaurant in hotel was very good! Food was reasonable and very tasty. The only missing item would be a pool for the kids. Hence the 4 out of 5 rating.
We reserved our room through a third party back in April. We were travelling with our two dogs and every other hotel on our journey gave us a room on the first floor. Our booking company was not able to get us anything other than the second floor at this particular hotel. When we contacted the hotel to check up on our reservation they still would not change it. They told us to wait until we arrived and have the reception desk change it then. We arrived fairly early and we're told that because we had booked online (??) they could not change it for us and that anyway, they were booked solid. Upon exiting our room in the morning we came face to face with another dog owner taking his pet out. Some barking ensued which more than likely woke up people in nearby rooms. This would not have happened had we been able to exit through a first floor patio door. Also, one of my dogs had to be literally dragged up the stairs as the open staircase was scaring him. Had we not been able to convince him to come up we would have been in trouble as there is no way we could have picked him up and carried him up the stairs. Patrons travelling with dogs should always get rooms on the first floor in order to minimize contact with other guests who may not feel comfortable. This was not a last minute booking. It was done 4 months early and a specific request was made for a first floor room. I was extremely disappointed with this hotel's lack of consideration for people travelling with pets and would not consider booking there in the future.
Stayed here for two nights. Was satisfied with the visit. Room was clean and well appointed. Centrally located and close to grocery store, Tims and just a short drive to the liquor store. Morning breakfast was OK with multiple options including eggs, muffins, toast, waffles and cereal. Would stay here again.
We stopped here for one night while visiting the Atlantic provinces. The room was large and comfortable. The bed was good and the breakfast was also good. The hotel was easy to find just off the main road to Halifax. We would stay again. However, do not eat at the Chinese restaurant next door. The food and service were not good. It was perhaps the worst Chinese food we have every eaten.
