Our second year staying here for the Thanksgiving holiday. Staff is very nice and informative. Breakfast was fine. We were glad to be able to bring our dog with us and since our son lives nearby, there was no worry about not being able to leave him in the room when we went out . We could here our neighbors, overhead and next door, but not enough to keep us up. Thank you - and though we haven't stayed with you in the summer, we've admired your plantings. Lovely.

The people, rooms, and amenities at Camden Riverhouse were perfect for a Thanksgiving holiday. Our room was on the third floor with a lovely balcony view of the river. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and accommodating, and my family agreed that from now on, we will stay at the Riverhouse whenever we go to Camden. One small - but much appreciated - perk was being able to help myself to a cup of tea at all hours on the second floor mezzanine.

We had a room with 2 adults and 2 teenagers and did not feel like we were on top of each other. The room was large enough that there was plenty of space around the beds and plenty of room for all our luggage. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. I will definitely return the next time I am in Camden.

This hotel room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good, even in the off season. Although that it ranked by my kids and the fact that they had a make your own waffle station! 😃 4 stars only because it’s not super high end. Ranks 5 stars in the basic hotel category. I would stay again.

We stayed for one night in September as we toured New England. The hotel is well located with convenient parking. Check in is prompt at 3pm it will be rare If you get checked in before this time. Our room was clean and spacious with good facilities. Decor is dated but everywhere is clean. Breakfast is buffet style Free WiFi Free parking Best bit is the fire pit and S'mores with outdoor cinema set up in the back garden. Would recommend

We have stayed at many hotels, motels, and bed and breakfasts in the Camden area over the years. We stayed here for the first time in early November 2018. The hotel has the sturdiness and spaciousness of grand old hotels. Rooms and bathrooms are all renovated, soundproof, with all the amenities. Breakfasts are ample, service agreeable and helpful. We had the feeling of coming home at night. We recommend Camden Riverhouse highly. It is steps from Main Street with the many good restaurants and shops and boat trips out of harbor that Camden definitely has to offer! We will return to the Rivwerhouse.

Beautiful plantings, thoughtfulness everywhere, a great fire pit, marshmallows, 24/7 coffee. ok, breakfast merely continental, but high quality yogurt. Would return here anytime, clean, great location, humble, very comfortable.

First time in Camden, Maine and several choices for a stay. Great, clean, quiet place that is not only affordable but great attention to many extras not found in a “chain” hotel. Super friendly staff and within walking distance to everything in town. No it’s not fancy but yes it’s comfortable and if you want s’mores and a fire, it’s free.

My sister and I have returned to this hotel many times. We started with bringing our mother and have continued after her passing. The room is always clean and Ralph sets a lovely fire. We have many find memories of sitting around the fire. Thank you Ralph for your hospitality. The location is ideal and the rooms more than affordable.

Steps away from this lovely little New England delight. Great Seafood at the dockside within a 5 minute walk. Cozy and fully equipped, apples and marshmallows offered freely and of course 24 hour coffee. Very friendly and helpful folks at check in.
