It was a very nice, comfortable room. They should look after the information materials like a roomservice menu. These were very worn and used. I did not use the Gym or pool but it was always busy also by local people. The restaurant has a very limited menu. When you stay 3 night there is not so much different things to choose of. They also had diffuculties with planning the staf. When it is busy you have a long waitingtime.
Once again the Marriott was up to par. Rooms lovely, clean, spacious, big bed and bathroom with full facilities. Staff courteous, helpful and always smiling. Food best yet,the Carvery for our Anniversary RAF dinner was delicious, service very good. A great weekend.
We found the Marriott Hotel pleasant and the staff are to be congratulated on their performance. They were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and warm but nothing special. For the price we paid we would have expected breakfast to be included but we're charged £15.99 each for a full English. A bit steep and it was nothing special. We also paid over the odds for lunchtime snacks. The main plus point was the lovely pool and clean and spacious changing facilities. If unlike us you arrive by car you can maybe go out for meals but having used the train we were unable to do this.
Nice hotel, nothing spectacular but reliable with perfect bed and cushions ! The service is also very pleasant and helpful (especially Polish lady). Big, nice bar with short selection of English beers - unfortunately mainly international brands :-(. Good value (especially beds) for good price !
Two conferences two weekends on the trot, snd what differences. From a great buffet style breakfast, morning coffee with biscuits and pastries to buffet lunch with a pudding. Not just quality but quantity as well. The staff were helpful and polite The conference room well presented though too much aircon meant some ladies sat with coats on. A good enough venue that we will look to use Marriott again.
We stayed two nights. The reception staff were very helpful. The location was good and close to the town centre. The room was adequately furnished and spacious. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Mostly was a powerful Wi-Fi in the room. The only issue which we reported and hopefully will be resolved is the disabled car parking which was occupied by cars not displaying the blue badge; hence we had to park away from the hotel entrance. I highly recommend this hotel which I shall return to when visiting the town again
This hotel is very conveniently located off the motorway(also very easy to spot with the large "Marriott" logo on top of the property.) There is plenty of parking and it is complimentary. The staff is excellent. The moment you walk in, you are treated with a warm greeting and smile. There were some issues with my mobile check in, but the front desk was very efficient in getting it straightened out so I could get to my room. The room is typical of a Marriott and was filled all of the proper amenities. They had a large desk for being able to work and spread out. WiFi was excellent and connected right away. Bed was extremely comfortable allowing for good nights sleep. Plenty of hot water from the shower. They do have an airocn system that works by inserting the key. I found it to be very warm in the room as the temp would only go down to 18, however the windows do open, which provided some cooler air into the room. My only disappointment with the room was no refrigerator which was inconvenient. There do have two ice dispensers on the 1st floor next to the lift. Marriott still isn't consistent with their hotels outside of the US when it comes to amenities provided for Platinum members. They told me they were going to provide a complimentary breakfast, but then told me since I was paying with a Visa it was complimentary but they'd give me extra points, but then realized they couldn't do both. They really made my head scratch with their reasoning as to what they were going to do. And, to be honest, the breakfast was very standard and not impressive (I should have taken the points!) You are within a couple of miles of lots of restaurants and pubs. Cambridge is a short 20 minute drive. My drive to Heathrow was less than 90 minutes. This is a good, solid, business hotel to stay in when in Huntingdon.
I stayed for 1 night at the Marriot in Huntingdon. The check in went smoothly and the reception staff were friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was in the form of a buffet. It was plentiful and of a good standard. The hotel is a little pricey but I had a pleasant stay so can't complain too much. If on business again in the local area I would definitely consider stopping here again.
We stayed at our local Marriott last weekend for a treat, using Marriott points. The room was spacious and comfortable, the food good and the leisure facilities excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The sea bass we ate was cooked to perfection.
We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. Lots of good things to say about the hotel. Friendly staff and quiet and comfortable room. It was quiet in the hotel , I guess due to the time of year and that made it feel a bit soulless. We did not dine at the hotel and so cannot comment on the food but the breakfast was OK and maybe during busier times the range of fruits etc would of been wider. Nothing to complain about though.
