We stayed here for a total of 8 nights in July as we were visiting family in the area. I have to say that for a business hotel it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and accommodating, and the prices for food in the bar are reasonable for what you get. We ate there a number of nights and the food was served hot and large portions for the price you pay. Getting a seat in the bar area some nights was a struggle due to the number of guests for a few functions, but generally they other guests allowed us to sit with them and have conversations which was great. The rooms were very clean and maintained on a daily basis. The gym and pool are excellent and you are supplied clean towels each time you go down. There is free wifi all over the hotel for members and the signal is very good. From the hotel to Cambridge is about 30 minutes. Note that there are works on the local roads so sometimes its a parking lot, but you cannot hear the traffic from either roads in the hotel.

We booked a night here with our six year old daughter as a pit stop en route from our summer holiday in Holland back home to Scotland. We initially couldn't decide between this Marriott or the Peterborough Marriott but chose Huntingdon in the end as we could get a room with two double beds, so plenty of room and comfort for everyone, in spite of the fact that it was £45 more expensive than a family room with sofa bed in Peterborough. Check in was fast and professional and after a long day of travel we were eager to get to our room. When we got there however, we discovered it only had one bed. So, back to reception to hopefully remedy what seemed like a simple error. Except that they didn't have any more rooms with two double beds and whoever had allocated our original room hadn't looked on the system properly (although how you can't see that three guests aren't going to fit that easily into one bed is quite hard to believe). In fact, the only other room left in the entire hotel was a disabled room with a double bed and sofa bed. We voiced our disappointment strongly to the receptionist who offered us a free drink by way of compensation. We asked to take it up with a manager who wasn't on the premises so the receptionist went and made a phone call. She came back to say that they would refund us £40 which was the difference between the room we had originally booked and the room we were now being offered. So, had we not kicked up a bit of a fuss, then we would have been paying over the odds for a room that we hadn't wanted to book in the first place? So, here we are, in a room that we were almost certainly going to be over charged for, where our six year old is just the right size for the bathroom but not my 6.5 foot husband who can barely reach down to the sink, all because someone didn't look on the system properly. I know that mistakes happen but I certainly would have expected better from such a large and professional chain of hotels such as this one. Also, I would have thought that offering us something more than a coffee might have been a more appropriate way of apologising. Very disappointing and it will make me think twice about booking with the Marriott chain again.

Everything was top notch. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beth did an excellent job at the front desk and she remembered my name ever time she saw me. Awesome! The restaurant was very nice and the food was well prepared. Excellent Staff!

Room comfortable and very quiet, despite overlooking main A14 (triple-glazed). All room facilities fine. All staff helpful and friendly Bar disappointing- no draft bitter on either of 2 nights. Restaurant good on Friday night, but service on Saturday VERY slow, with very disappointing, tasteless fish and chips. Breakfast ok, all the basics but not very exciting.

We stayed at this hotel mainly to attend a Rugby Dinner and an AGM. We had an extra night to allow us to visit Cambridge on the Sunday. Our room was very clean and comfortable with all the usual amenities - though a fridge and some bottled water would have been welcome. The function catering was very good - well presented and tasty food and pleasant and attentive staff. Breakfast was fine though limited selection of cold food if you opted for a continental breakfast. Tables were laid to a minimum with no side plates or small knives, only mugs no saucers. I guess this is the modern way! The outside seating area was limited and a little neglected and would benefit from a few more colourful plant pots.

This is a well run site in part of the Marriott chain. We got a double room for three days one weekend in July incl. breakfast for £70 per night. bearing in mind the facilities (pool, gym) we thought this was a good price. The hotel is a little tired, but for the money, good value. The staff were uniformly excellent - polite, friendly and efficient - well done to all! A service charge is added unless you ask for it be removed. I checked with two employees who said they all received a share of the service charge - but apparently the management was excluded following a vote - what an interesting work dynamic! There was only one thing I didn't like; the wine I was served (Malbec) was a horrible cheap blend priced at an incredible £8.50 a glass. Don't touch the wine - its rip-off rubbish. All round a good experience. Before setting off check your route carefully - preferably using an interactive map (eg google). The A14 has years of road works due to a road-widening programme, which is now underway.

I stayed at this hotel whilst on business near Cambridge. This is a great hotel and is easy access to the a14 and m11. The hotel rooms are of a good standard and the amenities and service is good. A easy place to park and stay....close to the road and business park so very functional for a location

Just had a very nice two night stay. Positives: 1) Very high standards of cleanliness; 2) Very friendly staff from the front desk to the restaurant; 3) Good-sized rooms with all the Marriott amenities; 4) lovely, clean bathroom with generous hot water; 5) TV, hotpot, safe all in working order; 6) nice views especially given the motorway location; 7) the breakfast buffet was included in my rate and although the selection was not vast it was more than I needed and the food was quite good. Cons: 1) This is a motorway location in an industrial park. I wear a Fitbit and do 10k steps a day. So, I walked into Huntingdon both evenings, which I enjoyed. The train station was along that route. I would say you can walk into town and to/from the train station. My wife would say it is not walkable. Im sure taxis and Uber are reasonable. 2) There appears to be plenty of parking. 3) I thought my room was lovely but, yes, the property may be looking a little tired. 4) Not sure at about 100 GBP per night it's a great value. All that said, I enjoyed my stay. I'll be returning to Huntingdon in Sept and wouldn't hesitate to return although I will check the rates. BTW, there is a very nice convenience store/local mini-market in an adjacent sub-division near the hospital for snacks, drinks.

Stayed for two nights - hotel not near any pubs or shops - needed to drive out but hotel has pool and leisure facilities - the bar area has tv - the breakfast was nice - staff friendly - dinner was really good quality- great location for visit Grafham Water - also good value for money- would recommend

The room was a comfortable although looking a little tired, especially the bathroom. The most disappointing aspect of this hotel was the dining experience. Food was ordered at 7:25 pm and arrived at the table an hour later. The food was average.
