I wanted to stay more in the city on my first night. This hotel was lovely, with a few minor annoyances. First, it's a bit further from the tube than I originally thought, which may be due to a lot of construction going on. Second, the shower didn't quite work properly or I wasn't able to figure it out, and the bathroom had a bit of a musty smell. Finally, the breakfast was a buffet style, when the menu seemed to imply a more sit-down style. This was fine, but unexpected.

We had to leave this hotel early because the internet sucked. Also getting a refund was painful. They also have an almost non existent business centre.

I've stayed at the RE a few times and it's in a really good location to easily get around East London. Recommended!

I would not have stayed at the hotel if I had seen the area it was in. It is just an illustration if the price seems too good to be true than there is a significant catch. The staff were also exceptionally slow and incompetent at the check-in which entailed half an hour of waiting. I would avoid the hotel and opt for something in a nicer area even if the price is a bit higher.

WORST STAY AT ANY HOTEL .PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER PLACE.

Hotel was clean and staff were nice. Not a bad location. Good for the price. One thing was that the fridge did not really work

The hotel is centrally located. It is very clean and has courteous staff.

The room was modern, very clean & comfortable. Parking was provided & the location was central to area. The staff was very helpful & friendly, too. We will stay here again when in this region of Italy!

The hotel is nice but not central to the underground. Its located in what feels like an industrial area so walking back to the hotel from the train station is a bit scary for a girl on her own. Also, there is not a lot of shops or restaurants in the area. It is a nice hotel with potential though and is probably worth it for the price.

Good hotel. Nice staff... clean bathrooms... overall good place to stay. Not many restaurants near by and that's a problem.

Everything about this hotel is superb. It is surpisingly close to the heart of London. The staff are very nice, the rooms very very clean and organized. Internet is there (but not so fast or reliable in some areas). There is a fitness center down the road that costs £7. The hotel could do a deal to get that price down to 3-4. Taxi's are easy to get because Hackney road is s common road that the taxi's come to work on. Overall this is a great hotel.

Very nice hotel clean good bar and restaurant . Small rooms but decent and very clean. Bad location don't walk around at night catch the bus right in front of the hotel . We did walk in the morning to the train stop about 10 min away but coming back at night was not pleasant, watch your purses! Staff at hotel did not know much. Every question asked about tours or transportation was asked to another staff like they didn't know the answer. One staff was knowledgeable she knew bus routes and good places to go.

We really enjoyed our experience at this hotel. It has everything you need for a trip to London, it was very clean and nice, felt very new. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling to London. My only disappointment was the distance to the center of London, but that can easily be solved by a quick trip on the underground train, walking distance from hotel is only 10 min to the station closest and then taking the train from there is very simple. Overall highly recommended!

Perfect location if you're looking for a hotel in London's East End. Very close, walk or bus ride to Shoreditch and Broadway Market. Hotel is very nice, great staff and a nice lounge in the lobby. Will stay here again.

Good enough...

This is not a central London hotel, and it's not near any major sites. It's also a 15+min walk from the nearest tube station (Benthal Green). Having said that, this is an excellent hotel. London hotels are a mixed bag. Most in this price range are dilapidated, in old buildings not meant to act as hotels. The Days Hotel is new construction, very clean and well kept. I got a room whose window faced the interior of the building. While my view was only of other windows (30 or so feet away), and not of some cute London street, the room was amazing quiet, and I slept more sound than I've ever slept in a city, and I live in a city. The staff is very helpful and attentive. Internet is an extra charge, but 20 pounds/week is really not that bad, and a common charge at hotels these days, and the connection is fast. If you're someone who is already familiar with London, and wants to stay away from the throngs of tourists, this hotel would be an excellent choice.

The Hotel is out of the way but one can catch the bus right in front of the hotel to either the Liverpool Street Tube or the Bethnal Green Tube Station. There are plenty of local eating establishments within walking distance, and I would advise eating at one of them instead of the hotel which is way overpriced compared to the restaurants right outside of the hotel's door. The rooms were spacious and immaculate and much larger than some of the older central London hotel rooms we stayed in. There is no spa or fitness but if you are sightseeing you will get enough exercise.smile.[...] My wife and I decided this would be our hotel of choice when we visit London in the future, because of its dollar-to-value ratio, convenience to local transportation, and the number of inexpensive local restaurants and cafes in the vicinity.

I did not like the menu selection or the food. Also it would have been nice to have information on restaurants close by.. e.g Chinese, Indian, Fish and Chip locations. There was nothing showing eatig places... or even attractions nearby

This hotel was clean, offered great restaurant, perfect location, easy to get around all parts of London using it as home base, friendly staff and easy check in/out. I was able to wait to book when there was a sale. So the price I paid made it really worth it. I couldn't have asked for better.

We moved from the US and were expecting the same class of customer service. But, the staff was a little unfriendly when it came to providing room amenities. We asked for a shaving kit, which was advertised in the bathroom, but never got it. I also felt that the staff was not perfectly professional. The Hotel on the other hand is very clean and safe.
