It was a great place to stay during our visit to Caen, France. We had to drive (due to rail workers strike), but parking wasn't too bad and both the Normandy American Memorial Cemetery and the Caen Memorial were within driving distance from the hotel.
The garmin told us we could not drive our car to the hotel, and legally, I don't believe you can. You have to drive over sidewalks, bike paths. Nice hotel. Just plan on getting there by bus or train and you will be fine. Seriously, driving is a very serious challenge.
Travel experiences cant get much better. Desk staff were helpful, warm and pleasant. they really made the stay wonderful.
we checked in VERY late and the staff was friendly and efficient. there is a small lobby bar and guests were there chatting about their day. Everyone was very welcoming.
