Hotel Granada Centro

Ok hotel with private parking. Rooms are small and furniture seems quite old. Position is great, close to city centre. Private parking is a little expensive: 13 euros per day, but you have to leave it at checkout (before 12). Actually you can leave your car 'til 5pm with 5 euros extra. If you're driving to Granada to visit Alhambra, I suggest you to book Alhambra for the day after and go there by car (there's a huge parking).

We are a family of 4, when we checked into this hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that our family room is in fact a 2 room suite with 1.5 bath. In fact the entire floor, coming out of the elevator, ours was the only room. This is in the middle of August and rooms are dirt cheap, $79 including tax. Our room also has a terrace. Not much of a view, overlooking very narrow back street, local residential homes. Kind of interesting. There is no fridge or microwave. But the front desk does allow us to use their fridge and microwave. Rooms are clean. The location of the hotel is not the most central but not bad either. It's a 7 minute walk to center of town (Plaza Isabel la Catolica) where one can take a bus to Alhambra. It's a 15 min uphill climb to San Nicolas viewpoint with a great view of Alhambra.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in room 101, twin room on the first floor. The check-in was smooth and easy, the staff was polite and gave us all the required information. The hotel and the room are clean, well maintained, good AC, toilettries are offered, they look exactly like the pictures provided by the hotel and travellers. The location is perfect, in the center, walking distance to Elvira street and the Cathedral (5 min to Elvira and 10-15 min to the Cathedral). As you climb the stairs to the main street you find a lot of coffee shops and some small supermarkets. The staff was really helpful (I am sorry I didn't get her name) when I realised that upon booking an Alhambra tour with pick-up from the hotel, I mistook Hotel Granada Center with this one. She called the company and arranged the pick-up from a hotel nearby, on the main street. If you come by car, I really suggest to park in their garage, as there are no parking spaces nearby, being in the center. The parking is 13€/day and be careful for the steep slope to get in and out. If you look for luxury, this is not the hotel for you, but if you want a nice, clean budget hotel, walking distance from everything in Granada, this is the place for you. I will definitely stay here again if I would return someday to Granada.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights a week ago during my first visit to Granada. It's a modest hotel in a good location with excelent staff who gave me recomendations about tours, places to eat, etc. The room and the rest of the hotel was very clean and quiet. The area is safe and very convenient to go to the different places of interest of the city. I'm planning to stay at the same hotel for my future trip to Granada.

We went to Granada to visit Alhambra. We booked Alhambra 3 months in advanced and we needed a basic clean hotel that was fitting our budget to sleep in for 2 nights. Granada Centro Hotel is a small hotel just out of the main road. It is quiet at night and the room was clean and average looking. The accommodation is situated near the city center in walking distance to the tourists' attractions. I will definitely recommend this hotel for a short visit to Granada.

Having just returned from a short stay at this hotel I can't give enough praise ,great location good rooms ,clean and well run a special mention to Sandra on reception who was so helpful and pleasant .A different scenario for breakfast as you have to walk a very short distance to a local cafeteria but well worth it as the food we received was good "it also gets you up and about early".In all this hotel gives exceptional quality and value for money so would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quality good value break.

The room I got was clean, with sufficient space for one. This hotel is located fairly close to the touristy areas too, and around 30mins walk to Alhambra. Do note that this will be a steep climb though! Furthermore, the airport bus stops just 2 mins walk away from the hotel, and costs only 2.90 euros, which is awfully convenient and cost friendly :) Breakfast wasn't very impressive though, so you can skip it if you wish

This hotel is in a great location, literally steps away from one of the main streets in Granada. The street it's on has loads of graffiti but please don't let that put you off, it's very safe. I stayed for 4 nights and found this hotel to be very comfortable, spotlessly clean and all the staff were very friendly and helpful and wanted us to enjoy their city. The room was a good size, plenty of space for the twin beds. A desk and TV and a double wardrobe and the air conditioning was excellent. The bathroom was also a good size with a very powerful shower. We were at the front of the hotel but because the hotel is on a quiet street there wasn't any noise. We booked bed and breakfast- the breakfast is at a cafe about 3 minutes away and was lovely with good choices and friendly staff. There is a little supermarket a few steps from the hotel with plenty of choice and you are spoiled for choice with the number of restaurants and cafes nearby.....I loved Puerta de Syria, Viva Maria and also Hannigans. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely visit again - great value and location and lovely staff.

Really good location, very clean, good service, all we needed. We used the hotel parking facilities which was ideal as parking in the centre of town is a nightmare and you can get everywhere on foot. We would stay again.

(+) Budget accomodation, good location, parking near to hotel. Quiet room (at the back), quiet hotel. None problems with water pressure. (-) Small room, the beds and pillows hard enough. The towels and bed linens are grayish (partially made of polyester - towels not very good to getting dry oneself). Were once upon a time white ?
