The hotel is well located, clean and staff is nice. Rooms, specially bathrooms, deserve a renovation.
Very clean, great breakfast, very helpful staff, great location!
Pros: Historic structure, which reflected in the layout of the rooms. Very comfortable bed. Spacious and charming bathroom. Cons: Free WIFI was very spotty, only news channels available in English.
Great location and amazing historical building with wonderful service! What more can I ask! :)
Very old and not comfortable hotel Not updated I will not recommend this place
Great rooms and super attentive staff. The courtyard was an amazing place to sit and relax. Hotel was in perfect location.
The room was clean and comfortable, the location is good, close to a good shopping and walking spot, but not to close to alhambra, anyways very easy to take a cab and after a 10min ride you'll be there, the staff friendly and the restaurant was amazing, food from a spanish and modern fusion with good wines. The only thing to be aware is that if You arrive by car the way in front of the hotel is for cabs and buses only, so the gps won't drive you correctly. To avoid that don't follow the last three steps on the gps, even though is for busses, that way is allowed for hotel customers and the only way to arrive.
excellent location, highly competent staff, beautiful room overlooking the courtyard, relaxing environment.
Pros: Excellent location, elegant and perfectly maintained hotel.Very helpful and accommodating staff. Very good breakfast. Very nice restaurant. Cons: small rooms, poor lighting, artificial fragrance through the entire building. ( allergy trigger !!!!)
The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the train station, a stone's throw from the cathedral, and not far from the Alhambra. The front desk staff speak fluent English. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable with large, marble baths and very fine toiletries. The restaurant, located in the former library of the convent, overlooks a courtyard with fountain. Tables are available inside and out for breakfast and dinner. (There is no bar, but liquor service is available in the restaurant.) The breakfast buffet is ample, varied and augmented by cooked-to-order specialties. Dinner is a treat. The service deft, the food outstanding and the wine list moderately priced. This is an ideal place to stay while in Granada. (I hadn't realized the hotel was affiliated with Marriott, so Marriott Rewards card holders should bring their membership cards.)
Very good hotel at an excellent location, get rooms near the open courtyard. Wonderful ambiance in the evening. Hotel offers Valet Parking - came in handy with the Citroen Jumper - 9 passenger vehicle that we had for rental. Hotel does NOT offer ironing boards or irons in the rooms - you have to pay to get your clothes ironed, unless you are carrying your own. Breakfast buffet is good but at a price. We never got a chance to eat dinner in the Hotel restaurant that has live music and fantastic ambiance at night. The Alhambra is walking distance from the hotel and so is the old town - caution: uphill climb.
