Holy HOT room! All was great until I walked into a room that must have been close to 80* Complained of the Heat to front desk and requested a fan... I won't be back back but its a great location.

I found this hotel quite pleasant....quiet, clean with a very attentive and friendly staff..

Rooms isolation is not good Hotel staff is nice and helpful Location is v. Good

Parking is difficult unless you want to pay to park in the motel's lot.

Central to everywhere downtown as you're close to the CTrain line that is free within the downtown area. Hotel is currently being renovated and my room was on the To Do list but it was more than adequate for my needs. Comfy and clean. Staff are very friendly.

If you are looking for a convenient downtown location at a fair price, this is it. The hotel is tired and dated. There were stains in the carpet, peeling wallpaper, mildew around the ceiling of the bathtub area, all indicative of an older hotel that just hasn't been kept up as much as it should have been. I was there for two nights and the television lost signal on most channels the second night. Not a big deal for me as I was using it more for a distraction but they need to fix that issue. There were no weather issues at the time so there isn't really any excuse for that. The wifi also seemed spotty. If you are trying to work from your hotel room it can impact productivity. Really expected better from this hotel.

Average experience. Hotel did not have a pool, which would have been nice to relax in after being at Calgary Stampede all day.

Right in the middle of they city, older hotel so quite tired furnishings but good value for money; we picec it cause of location to saddledome and t was a 5 mnute train ride away. Parking avail for $18 a day. If your looking fr fancy and 5 star: don't stay here.

The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. I was disappointed there wasn't a fridge in the room but it really was too big of a deal. My room was neat and clean and perfect for just one person. Easy access to everything. The business center needs a copy machine but the manager allowed me to use the hotel staff copier. The carpets in the hallway leading to my room need to be replaced and the elevator is old but it is an older downtown hotel. I had an overall great experience which I was worried about after reading the reviews.

This hotel needs a renovation. It was very dated and worn out.

We were told that the rooms had been refurbished but the floor was filthy, the bathroom was old with crusty buildups along the edges of the floor, cramped, with no towel racks. Valet parking was slow and the valet was unkempt and surly. We couldn't wait to conclude our stay.

the hotel is very outdated. the room was clean but the overall ambiance depressing. the staff wasn't consistent in providing the check out time, so it makes you wonder.

I am satisfied with the location as it is accessible to the train. It will be good if they provide complimentary bottle water for the guest upon arrival with a tray of simple fruits. The hotel staff are friendly and patient. I stayed 4 days there. The price can be more competitive. The wireless connection is not that high speed and it breaks connection frequently. Need to improve on the connection. This keeps me having second thoughts to stay in this hotel again.

SoSo an older property but well maintained. A bit expensive for what you get; no fridge, coffee maker etc.

The location was perfect for walking to just about anywhere downtown. There is a theatre a block away, banks, and good places t eat all within walking distance (we do recommend Earls....the service and food were fantastic) The restaurant in the hotel was okay, but not outstanding. And the pool is outdoors, so it was inaccessible at this time.

The heater banged and clanked and I could hear sounds from rooms around me, such as when someone coughed or sneezed and talked. The food in the restaurants lacked a lot. Not a good selection and I could tell it was preprocessed food. Not a lot of restaurants around for variety.

The amenities and facilaties were excellent. The decor is modern and clean. A great value.

we have fun the staff are freindly and accomodating especially from front desk they are awesome.

We were there for the Stampede,.. did'nt expect peace and quite and did'nt get it. I'm sure it would be peaceful at other times. Beds were very very comfortable big pillow top with lots of good pillows. The staff was excellent and the entertainment in the bar was exceptional (a country singer brought in for stampede) Ask for a room on the 3rd floor (outdoor) pool deck!

This hotel was in much worse condition than I had expected. It was very old and very dirty. The rooms were musky and smelled of old cigarette smoke. They claim to offer wireless internet to all rooms, but the connection is so bad that you might as well not even bother. I was here for business and the internet issue made things very difficult. The ONLY reason I chose to stay instead of rebooking somewhere else was the location of this place and the fact that it'd be impossible to find a room at such a late notice during royal couple/stampede week. I could go on for much longer about the problems with this place, but just take my advice and STAY AWAY.
