Nice view of air conditioners on roof and bird droppings mold etc. Flush toilet sounded like a bomb going off it was so loud. Close too see a flames game besides that factor i wouldnt again. Bed was ok had too carry all our stuff up the stairs which sucked.

Staff is very friendly. Rooms were nice and comfortable.

The hotel is just south of downtown, a couple of miles from the Stampede grounds. Nothing special about it. But, the rooms are clean and the amenities are decent, for the rate.

Convenient hotel to downtown, zoo and Chinook Centre. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast very good with excellent service in the breakfast area. Pool warm and perfect for children. Hot tub clean.

Dealing with the lady with the Russian accent at the reception was like pulling teeth, but at least the 2 men (nameplates said Rio and Raffy) were very helpful and offered (as opposed to waiting to be asked) help and assistance. We booked a standard 2-double-beds bedroom and it was the standard hotel room youd expect, except smaller. Shorter distance from door to beds, tv and fridge was closer to the beds too. The edge of the door to the bathroom almost touches the toilet bowl, too. Little wiggle room there, basically. But other than that, everything else was okay. No odours (and I'm very sensitive to smells), nice sheets, comfy pillows.

as expected. reasonable hotel experience for price point. very positive experience at the front desk when I asked for a late check out. only complaint was that there was no parking stalls left one of the nights because of a wedding going on in the hotel. very inconvenient.

I will never stay in this hotel. Not worth for money I spent. Staff are very un professional

The hotel staff were very helpful and extremely accomodating. I was suppose to have checked out by 11 AM and I ended up checking out a little after 12 noon. But, I was not charged extra for checking out late.

I stayed here with my wife and four kids. The room was small (only two double beds), but clean and in good order. The staff was helpful and the continental breakfast was above average for a hotel of this price.

If we hadn't pre-paid we wouldn't have stsyed.

It's hard to take time and enjoy a business trip.

Staff was friendly, but place was a little run down although room was clean. I had trouble getting hot water one evening and was asked to "let it run about 15 minutes" to get some. It only took about 5-7 minutes and then there was plenty.

Most things were pretty good, except the bathroom shower which was dripping water and took a long time time before getting hot water. Air conditioning too felt like it was blowing air at the same temp of around 65 no matter what you set the temp to. Otherwise the hotel was decent.

Days Inn South Calgary, reception is very good, but after that very littlw pleases the eye. Hallway carpets are in serious need of professional cleaning services, and while the beds are comfortable it is a poor option to use 2 white flat sheets instead of a cover for the duvet. I was very frustrated to have to stand waiting for the water in the shower to get warm enough for me to even think about stepping in. Location while convenient for downtown, is right by the C train tracks and on a divided section of road making access somewhat inconvenient.

For a place to stay, this hotel provided the basic needs. Its an aging property, however the room itself was clean. The hallways left alot to be desired, but we don't sleep in the hallways, do we? There is a Tim Hortons and MacDonald's next door which proved to be invaluable, since the hotel had no restaurant available. The wireless internet wasn't working during my stay and the front deskperson gave me the impression that it rarely works. The breakfast was basically toast and cereal. Only other issue was that this hotel doesn't take any Mastercard/Visa cards that are issued as cheque cards. In the end, for a place to sleep and use as a 'home base', the property did serve its purpose, without any frills. I had a room on the rear side of the hotel and while the view is of 'nothing', I'd recommend it. The front of the hotel overlooks a busy street, and I found my room was extremely quiet throughout the nite.

We stayed at the Days Inn Calgary south for three days. During this visit, the staff were pleasant and very helpfull. Rooms were clean and the facilities were great. Plenty of selection for the morning breakfast. Would highly recommend.

The Days Inn on McCleod in Calgary was very reasonably priced and included free internet, free breakfast, free parking and an indoor pool. We had stayed in another hotel a few blocks away, earlier in the week that was more expensive and offered fewer amenities. The staff was very friendly. Check is was smooth. The location was close to restaurants, the Chinook mall and was within 2 miles of downtown. Access to and from the airport was also easy.

The Days Inn Calgary South was close to where I was going to do business on this trip. I had attempted to use the printer in the office center and found that there was no printer... which I thought was odd. The staff helped me print what I needed by using their computer and printer behind the counter, so I found the staff helpful. The hotel was alright and I felt ok about my stay in general until I took a shower in the morning. I was up early and there was no hot water. When I commented at the desk...she asked me how long I had let it run. It was warm at best, before, during and after the shower. She made no attempt to appologize or explain the lack of hot water to me.
