I stayed in this hotel in december 2017 for 4 days The service was top, The room was huge and very plaisant Food is very good especially the breakfast and there are a lot of restaurant (I forgot how many) with different kitchens around the world The hotel is near the airport (about 6 km). it's also near Sun City mall. But it's far from old cairo (khan el khalili, cairo citadel...)
We had work in the airport so it made sense to stay here as Meridien was turning out to be too expensive. The breakfast was elaborate and had a good spread.Drinks i.e. Beer at the lobby level was very reasonable.Though room service dinner could have been better value for money.Overall a good staying experience.
Spent one night at the Fairmont Towers before a flight to Jordan. The property just switched names, so it is now owned by Hilton. It is a large hotel property no more than a 10 or 15 minute drive from the airport. It actually has 2 separate hotels on the property with about 6 restaurants. Nice place with huge rooms. Our standard king room had one of the largest bathrooms I’ve ever been in. The room was also very quiet. The hotel is actually geared towards business travelers as there is little in the way of shopping. There is a casino on the lower level, but we did not visit it. About my only complaint was that the air temperature in the hallways and common areas on the lobby level (where the bars and restaurants are) was very chilly.
Fairmont changed the management and is not anymore managed by the Accor ‘regime’. At the previous time it wasn’t cheap but rooms and service in the tower was okay. Bad experience to come again and to learn your room is in the older part. The rooms are old style, very noisy and poor. Air conditioning not working well. Very late room service to clean the room. For sure the last stay at this incredible expensive hotel. High costs for no value
The hotel is very nice with a comfortable and cosy reception, we liked the room so much it’s spacious, the bed is so big comfy and clean with quite big bathroom. The people here are very polite helpful and at breakfast time they were so happy to serve us and make our stay even better, the breakfast has a variety of nice food we really liked the hotel and definitely we are coming back
Stayed at the hotel for only one night on a business trip to Cairo in October. They've kindly granted me early check-in and concierge shared a lot of guidance on the city, on how to move around, where to visit etc. On a very short notice they were able to organize a nice trip to the Pyramids which I was able to squeeze into my day. The room and the bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. Overall modern, chic hotel though it feels a bit big and empty. Close proximity to the airport is a big plus and biggest highlight is the friendly and attentive staff.
Hotel is full of amenities, restaurants and all you cab need. We spent 20 days last time, and is the second time we stay in this hotel. This time we get up to 7 rooms, because of work needs, and every day has been better than the day before. Remarkable stuff : From Fairmont's President club : Ms. Yara, From Reception : Ms. Madonna and Mr. Alas From Fuse bar: Mr. Mohammed From Aqua bar at breakfast : Mr Peter From Pizza Bar at pool: Ms. Eva This persons has made our stay feeling like at home, beeing all the time worrying in our needs.
THis hotel is expectacular, the quality of the rooms, service, food but more amaizing was Mohamed every morning at the restaurant. His customer service skills, professionalism and the way he greet and treated me every morning at breakfast.Thank you Mohamed for making me feel at home in Egypt.
All the experience was good except for the reservation was conflict and no one reply to my emails , as well as in the check out in handling my case , they didnt compensate me at all that there was conflict
Second time to visit the hotel for business trip. The same great experience I had with the same level of customer service. Indeed great and large hotel which makes you come back. I learned this time that there is an hourly shuttle bus to airport which is very good and convenient service. Keep up the good work
