Over all I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was for only $60 a night. It was equivalent to a $80-90 hotel in the USA. The bed wasn't amazingly comfortable but the room was clean and quite.

Thr place was awesome The rooms were clean and spacious The beds were comfortable and big enough Internet sercive was inefficient Better and stronconne tion required for the internet

We stayed at this hotel one night before flying out of the Cairns airport. We weren't there very long but everything in the room seemed nice. The only issue was a lack of parking.

FAIR - restaurant - short of staff. no clean tables

The hotel staff were extremely nice and very helpful in assisting with booking a tour of the Great Barrier Reef. The hotel location is outside the city so the saving may be spent on transportation. The hotel offers a shuttle to town for $4. I would recommend taking the city bus which you can get across the street at the mall for $2 and runs more frequently.

I read the comments from others about this and was skeptical. The TV in the room was an older model and Yes, it is not located downtown. I had a rental car and could go where I wanted so I didn't care. The hotel was clean, had a nice pool, the rooms are large, and the best part was that the rooms were the cheapest ones I found the whole month I was in Australia. I wish I would have tried this one out when I first arrived at Cairns. I would have stayed here longer.

The hotel is far from the city. The hotel buffet breakfast is overpriced. They advertised electrical adaptors but don't have any. If you want an extra towel to take to the beach, extra charge. If you want to take the hotel shuttle to the city, extra charge. If you want to access the internet, extra charge. The TV has a whopping 4 channels. Bugs in and outside the room

The room was as big as a small bedroom and there were tiny ants everywhere. The pools were freezing cold and there is no hot tub or anything like that. The people at the front desk were helpful but acted as if you were bothering them every time you asked a question. We were far from any shops and any restaurants, at least a ten min drive. We were a thirty min. drive from the beach. It cost money every day to use the room safe. The hotel had a bus that went to the shops and restaurants for 8 dollars each for every use. The hotel had one place that sold a 21 dollar breakfast which served the same exact thing every day but not lunch or dinner. The floor drain in the bathroom brought up soap suds in the middle of the floor after every shower. The television only showed four channels all of which were always on the news. This hotel looks nice but its NOT in a nice area! While walking down the street we were threatened by a bum for not giving money. The hotel also serves as an apartment building. You can hear any noise outside of or next to your room clearly. I know it is a good price but considering how it will effect your experience I would upgrade.

Staff very couteous and helpful. Pool very nice. Breakfast efficient & economical. Wonderful location for us, and close to airport . Would definitely stay there again

This hotel was ok, a little far from the city center, but hey thats life.

Good value hotel away from downtown Cairns next to a shopping center with decent shopping available. Nice pool. Comfortable room, recently renovated. Very friendly and helpful desk staff. Cairns itself is not very pretty, so unless you stay in a resort right on the ocean, staying in a hotel like this (a bit further from downtown) is not a bad choice.

The setting was nice with the tall Palm Trees around the place and the swimming pools. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were reasonably OK, although not 100% clean . The location is not that good as it is a little bit far from the centre. We hired a car but we had to park on the street as there were not enough parking places inside the hotel. But overall we were happy with the hotel.

Disappointed in pool. Couldnt sit around and have a drink. Had to purchase liquor at a local liquor store. Told desk about a/c, didnt fix it.
