Trinity beach has everything you need for some days of relaxing holiday: a nice beach, some restaurants, fine weather ... We stayed at marlin cove for a week and liked the place very much. Our two bedroom appartment was well equipped and had even two bathrooms. Everything was clean, quite new and in good working order. The living area was spacious and the AC quite silent. The lap pool was great, the lagoon pool might be a joy for kids, the sauna should have a shower attached, one out of four barbecue places was in good shape, the others a bit negelected. We loved the wallabies hopping past our veranda and the birds passing by in twilight. But the "free wifi" is only half of the truth. Actually, you get 500 MB for 24 hours for only one device included. For the three of us that was inconvenient, so we bought a 7 day package with 5 GB for 30 keys. The connection was painfully slow and stopped to work on the second day for about 20 hours.
OMG worst place I have ever stayed. Opened the door to stale cigarette smoke. Dirty dishes and a dirty smelling dishwasher. Couldn't eat in this place and tried to stay away as much as I could. Went and bought my own glass to drink out of. Couldn't wait to get out.
I have been staying at Marlin Cove for holidays for close to 8 year's. It is a lovely place to stay for couples and families and is also very quiet. It is just a short walk to the beach and to Trinity Beach Tavern.
We only stayed here 1 night before heading up to Cape Tribulation but were really impressed with it. The 2 bedroom unit was perfect for our family of 5, with lots of space. The rooms seem renovated, modern and well kept. The kids loved the pool area. Great easy walking to everything at Trinity Beach. We arrived after dinner, but staff had arranged a self check in - easy. Good value for money - recommend!
We have stayed here a few times now and the rooms are clean and roomy. Lovely surroundings and hasn't got that closed in motel feel to it. There were a couple of kangaroos around from time to time which was really nice and is walking distance to the beach.
We had a 1-bedroomed apartment which was large, quiet, modern and clean. We only stayed for 3 nights but wished it had been longer. The grounds are so peaceful and tranquil, with wildlife everywhere. The pools looked great, although unfortunately we didn’t have time to use them. Restaurants and beach a 5 minute walk away, supermarket 10-15 minute walk away. Perfect.
A spotless modern 2 bedroom apartment, fully equipped, airconditioned, modern comfortable furniture and finishings. A comfy beds, beaut ensuite, laundry facilities, modern kitchen with oven, and verandah overlooking the natural free form pool. Wallabies wandering throughout the gardens, and only a short walk to the beachfront and boardwalk.
We spent one night we our friends from Tassie. Apartment was awesome . Great pool close to everything. Had lovely balcony and pool views as well as lush tropical rain forest Very modern hotel clean and easy to access
A nice resort, with great nature and interesting wild life. Wallabies, frogs and exotic birds everywhere, felt almost like walking in the wilderness. The pool area is very nice, with a sand beach. The wifi however was a disappointment and was rarely functioning, but that's also not one of the reasons to come here. Staff was friendly and helpful with our late check-in, but I could never understand though if the cleaning was to be done by the quests or by the resort. My initial impressions were that the rooms had been only superficially cleaned, perhaps by the previews guests.
Booked the Premier 3-Bedroom Apartment on booking.com. Although it says the max occupancy was 4 persons, there was more than enough bed space for 6 people. There were 2 single beds in one of the bed rooms, and 1 double bed each in 2 of the remaining rooms. The apartment itself was spacious, with a big living room and dining area. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, but the equipment (probably left by the previous guests) were a little dirty. On the other hand, they did provide dishwashing liquid/powder, as well as laundry detergent enough for our 2 night stay there. On one of the nights we drove back to the resort, there were wallabies all over the place! So that was a pleasant surprise for us. The location isn't too far from all the different tourist spots if you drive, but if you don't, then it could be a little unaccessible. The staff was friendly and helpful as we had to check in later than their allocated time slot.
