Nice quiet oasis close to heart of Cairns opposite hospital. Big attractor is the Balinese restaurant, great for breakfast lunch as well as dinner. Best of all when I left my jumper behind retuning to Melbourne they got in the post quickly and without any hassles!

Recently stayed in a two bedroom apartment here - very clean and spacious, however the bed was not as comfortable as other beds I've slept in whilst away. Very helpful having your own washing machine, iron etc in the apartment. Lots of wardrobe space in each bedroom. Good air conditioning and fans in all rooms, though one in the living room was considerably wobbly when it spun. We stayed on the second floor which was fine, except when it comes to carrying your cases up and down - not easy without a lift. Couple of nice swimming pools. In quite a good location, 5 minutes walk to the sea front and another 20 minutes gets you into the heart of Cairns - very pleasant.

We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which was fabulously spacious. Comfortable and quiet if a little dated. The pool area is nice and the restaurant a bonus. 15/20 minutes walk to town centre and swimming lagoon.

Reception staff friendly but thats about the only nice thing about this hotel! There was no hot water at all, stood in the shower several minutes waiting for the water to warm up, no such luck. The room was dark and not very welcoming at all. There were only 2 wooden straight back chairs, which felt like sitting on a rock. The television was positioned in a place that was difficult to watch especially from the bed, you couldn't sit on the horrible chairs to watch it. Don't bother!

Great room overlooking the pool lined with palms trees. Very professional staff, easy check in and bar / restaurant on site. Room was very comfortable and location is close to the Esplanade and shopping precinct. Close to the airport therefore you may get woken by early flights leaving Cairns

Stayed four nights at this hotel which was quite old but clean. Check in was very smooth and friendly, with the staff explaining the main points of our stay. The room was spacious enough for two and they had clean sheets and towels and ample shower gel and shampoo. It comes with complimentary tea/coffee facilities which were replenished daily. Wifi in room was strong but has to be reactivated each time you leave its range. Room has air Cond and works OK. Daily room cleaning was done quite well. There is a swim pool but did not use it so can't comment except it has a tropical Balinese feel. So was the decor at its restaurant where the full breakfast was served. They cook very good nasi goreng and fried eggs and bacon. It's location is about 1.5 km to the reef cruise terminal but the walking distance to the esplanade boardwalk, the lagoon and nearby restaurants is about 10-15 minutes walk in the cool winter.

With Cairns accomodation being expensive this is a venue which offers value for money. Reasonably central. Staff are professional and courteous. Rooms although not flash are clean and spacious. Reasonably modern.

We stayed here for a cheap option, but didn't expect it to be so bad. The rooms were aged and poorly serviced, the mould through the bathroom was filthy and the shower was older than I was and broken. We had joined rooms and the other was no better, with a table that was broken and dangerous, and chairs that didn't fit under it. The pool was far too cold for any guest to swim and rarely sees natural sun light. My partner was bitten all over in bed, but we have no idea what from. The staff themselves were individually friendly, but a sense that they all disliked each other was just under the surface. Our fan was only just hanging from the ceiling, and when maintainance came they said they couldn't fix it this week. I suspect it has been in that state for some time. However, the restaurant is exceptional and our waitress was brilliant- tasty and vibrant food was worth the whole experience. Overall, the place has potential.

Reasonably priced and clean. Enjoyed our stay! The atmosphere is Balinese, as is the in house restaurant which is busy every night. Rooms are large and include kitchenette should you choose to prepare your own meals.

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst we attended the ironman. The apartment is old and the furniture extremely worn and stained. The beds are sinking and uncomfortable. Certainly not like the photos on the website and not Balinese inspired. The restaurant side looked lovely and inviting but the appartments across the road where we were sent need much love. Ripped and stained lounges and our bed sheets had holes in them. Certainly not worth the money we paid to stay there. I would recommend asking where you'll be put when booking. On the plus side the staff were nice.
