We were working at the WorldSBK at Jerez circuit. Excellent location. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Excellent breakfast. Overall very good hotel. The bar was good value for money beer. We did not use the facilities as we were working.
The hotel room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent with great variety of food including fresh fruit and healthy protein shakes made to order were available as well. The staff were helpful and friendly
Needs updating. Looking old and tired. No kettle in rooms. Pool was freezing, could get in it was so cold. Breakfast and buffet was very good with good choice and variety. The 4 star section sometimes had a strange smell around the reception area.
We were recommended Montecastillo Resort to celebrate a big birthday with 4 rooms for 4 nights all inclusive ! Everything was spot on throughout our stay! The All inclusive is a must & on the face of it Looks expensive, but represents good value. All the Buffets were excellent and very generous, From breakfast lunch & dinner. The staff generally were very helpful in every way. The Golf set up was excellent too , The staff in the Golf shop were both helpful and flexible especially as there was an electric storm! I upgraded our rooms to Golf view and we were generally quite pleased overall, again an extra ! I paid & reserved in advance 4 buggies each day , The electric were better! The course is a good test, Much tougher off the back tees, but fair . However I think it was over watered despite being 37 degrees on our first day ! My Sister husband & another couple go each year, And no doubt we will return soon! All in all a really good value Resort ,probably a good 4 * ! Would strongly recommend!
Nice hotel and very nice helpful staff on reception - HOWEVER you have to walk through the garden and a short tunnel to reach the main hotel as there are no facilities in the convention centre this might make it not quite so good for older citizens The food at breakfast was very good not so the snack bar The pool was very crowded and no visible signs of the covered sun loungers seen in pictures. There are no other bars within walking distance of the hotel and quite a shabby what seems to be derelict building site opposite the main building and it is all a bit strange around the two hotels The room was comfortable but no working make up light in the bathroom. All in all I would not stay here again one member of staff made me feel like the poor relation as I was unsure where the snack bar was having travelled for 10 hours !! This hotel has a long way to go to measure up to the Barceló in Rota
This year was brilliant just as with previous trips. Resort was great and the team were friendly and attentive. The golf course was excellent a great test for all standards. Food was great so all in all a very successful trip! We will book again! Airport transfers were a little expensive and perhaps this is an opportunity for the hotel to build in to their service? Thank you!!
It was fairly decent but not exceptional. The room was good. Great wifi and great location. Room service was ok but could've been better and also the food items could improve but overall would recommend it .
Great hotel with an excellent choice of food. Very friendly staff. Had a wonderful relaxing 😎 stay. The birdsongs outside ours room was really beautiful. Will definitely come back again. Don't play golf myself but rhe golf course seemed very popular with other guests,
The hotel is nice, staff is friendly and the food is good. Try to get a room with garden view, on the "mountain side" you just see investment ruins. Breakfast offers a great variety of options. The hot choices during the evening buffet are not so rich. During car/bike racing weekends at Jerez it can be a bit noisy. The Wi-fi is among the best quality I have ever experienced in a hotel.
Like previous reviewers this place is a top notch resort in a beautiful location. Golf course fantastic but you will need a buggy as it is a long walk between many of the greens and tees not recommended to walk in the summer heat. Popular with Brit golf societies!!
