This a nice hotel for the rate, BUT our room was not made up and when I ask for a discount , only ten bucks since the rate was so good it took 20 min. The poor clerk did not know how to do. She was very nice and called the mgr. to come down and fix. I had get him on the phone to come down and tell her how to do it.
The hotel was a bit dated. However the beds and the televisions were updated. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Lyn did a great job at accommodating myself and my family on this trip. We would definitely stay there a gain
Has clean and comfortable rooms. Some rooms need to be updated. Refrigerator and TV. Has a breakfast available starting at 06:00. It could use a coffee pot in the room for those of us who hit the road before 06:00.
This place was clean and had some of the best bedding. We were on a multi day motorcycle ride and this place was $20 cheaper than some other places we stayed and had way better rooms. We would definetly stay again!
I check-in to a budget hotel with some trepidation re security and cleanliness and hope the breakfast will be fresh. EconoLodge hit it out of the park on all fronts. Felt very safe, very clean, beds were comfortable, staff friendly and informative, and the breakfast was the usual, but it was exceptionally fresh. The hotel deserved the gold star award that it displayed.
A good bargain for the summer season! Clean rooms, friendly staff, & close to town. There are entry doors for room to hall & to parking outside your room. I stayed in a room with king size bed. There was an older model TV but it worked & had a clear picture. There was a nice size mini fridge with a tiny freezer but no microwave or coffee pot- you have to go to breakfast room for that. I was close to it so it was ok. Plenty of outlets for your electronics too! I had a nice table & 2 chairs for my laptop & paperwork. Breakfast includes assorted cereals, breads, pastries, yogurt, juice, milk and fruit besides instant coffee from a machine.
We stayed here one night on our way through on vacation. The budget price was perfect for what we received. Welcoming staff, clean room with comfy beds, basic continental breakfast with plenty of offerings, and if you get up early the sunrise over the lake is amazing.
We were looking for a room for an overnight stay. Wanted a reasonable rate. This room was still over $100 which way too expensive for what it was. Room was outdated with an odor that was not good. Did not want to walk on carpet barefoot. It had wet feel. Sheets were clean. Refrigerator didn't work.
From the outside you may think that this is a worker motel. I think some workers stay here, but it is great for the traveler as well. The rooms were cleaner than I expected and the breakfast was the best that I ever had an Econo Lodge. I am going back to Cadillac next year and I will be staying there.
...and nothing you don't. It's an economy hotel. But, it is clean, the staff is friendly, and there is 24 hours a day hot coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The beds were comfortable. I liked that all rooms had access to the outdoors, it made unloading the cars very easy. The TV reception was poor, but we got in late and left early so we didn't have time to watch much tv. The breakfast was very basic. Bagels, prepackaged muffins, cereal, juice, etc. Basic, but decent. The only critiques I have were that the heater was very loud and kept me up all night and that the snowmobiles outside were very when they pulled up to the room next door. Maybe a snowmobile parking lot would help? All in all, it was a perfect resting place for a night at a great rate.
