The location is walkable to everything. Beach restaurant Bar etc.. This is good for a short trip.
Really great location for walking to all the local restaurants/attractions like Tacos Guss (5 min), the marina (10 min), maro's fish house (10-15 min), the bars and clubs (10 min). The street Maria Elena is on is pretty quiet, no noise from the main street a block away. The room was very clean, daily house keeping, very friendly staff. low water pressure in the shower but the water did get very hot. Bar soap and shampoo are provided (no conditioner or body wash). This is a budget hotel and fully met those expectations. No pool. minimum 1 flight of stairs to get the the 1st level of rooms.
We really enjoyed our stay at Maria Elena... Great location, just 2 blocks from one of the main strips. Plenty of nearby restaurants. We never stay in high end fancy hotels. Room was small, but no complaints. Ac worked great, hot water comfy bed. Staff was amazing. We would definitely stay again.

My husband and I come to Cabo many times a year. We stay all over. This hotel is a few blocks off the main drag. It is a clean and basic room, with a great AC unit. If you just need a place to crash and shower, with walking distance to all the restaurants and bars, this is the place to stay. Jesus, the owner is an extremely nice and helpful man. Our stay was great. The location is on a quiet street and we would recommend this for a budget place.
In the center of everything in Cabo San Lucas. You do not need a car or cab because everything is near you. Just on 5 min walk. Ask the owner where to eat if you would like to eat a real Mexican food. It's a quiet and clean place. Reasonable price. Also, you get an AC remote control so you can adjust the temperature in the room how you wish. This a great place for people who do not need a luxory resort for stay. Moreover, if you would like to taste a real Mexican life this is a place for you. I was enjoying walking around, eating in small restraurants, drinking coffe with locals, etc. Just ask the staff and they will give you best tips what to do in Cabo. Great hotel for the price!
The hotel was clean, well staffed even during the night and closed to the beach and everything else... would use them again...

All i needed! I was nevver in room anyways, but, it had refrigerator, clean linens, clean everything! Staff was helpful and sweet. Location wasnt too bad.. I walked everywhere! I am a single.female traveler and I felt safe.
