After a tiring day full of activities and traveling from one province to another, Microtel Cabanatuan served as a refuge. The warm welcome they gave me and a few friends and how they accommodated our requests made us feel very comfortable, much like being in your own home. The food served for breakfast and what we ordered for dinner were all delicious and filling, such that our group enjoyed devouring in their goodness while we enjoyed the conversations we had. The ever-comfortable chiropractic-approved beds gave me a relaxing and great night's sleep. And, the good running water plus perfectly working A/C refreshed us, despite and after being under the heat of the sun the entire day. While I've been to Nueva Ecija countless times before, it being the hometown of my father, I will definitely consider staying again at Microtel Cabanatuan - to relax after a full day of activities or meetings. I hope you will consider this place, too. :)
The hotel in general is definitely fine, clean and well-maintained. The manager Ma'am Lita Budomo and her staff were all polite, amiable and their service is prompt with extra tender loving care. Highly recommended.
Accommodating and friendly staff. Special commendation to Ann. Perfect place to have quiet time. Offering special discounts to loyal guest. Room are spacious and clean. Good ambiance however with minimal parking lot. With strong wifi access.
Very quiet and relaxing place. Nice and clean pool. People are friendly. I arrived earlier but they allowed early check in. Service is fast too...the place is clean. I will recommend this to friends for sure.
Again, Microtel's back-friendly beds are consistent any branch I go. And again, friendly staff. For this particular branch, I love the pool, where my friends and I spent some time chilling. The restaurant also has a reasonably extensive menu. I highly recommend their pizza!
Nueva Ecija is among the province in the Philippines I've less traveled. I know it has a lot to offer but, it's just out my radar. Perhaps, I see it as very nearby province that I can explore anytime I wish to. But not until our North Philippines Tour. Finally I had the chance to explore this striving and enriching province. We stayed in Microtel-Cabanatuan, in the capital city of the province. Our experience in the hotel is superb I would say. Those bright colors of Victorian-American Style of building made us feel that we're home. The staff are much welcoming and warm.('even smitten by the lady receptionist...those smiles are difficult to forget. =)) The interiors is cozy enough to find comfort after being on the road. The rooms are spacious, quite dim but the accent lights made the interior relaxing like a cradle of a baby that all you want to do inside is just to sleep all day. When boredom strikes, you can get a warm dip on the hotel's swimming pool. Yes, the hotel has a pool. The warm water of the pool contributed to my good sleep on the night of our stay in Microtel-Cabanatuan. The food, most especially the complimentary breakfast is definitely my favorite during our stay. Wide array of menus you can choose from, plus a hands-on F&B staff generously assisted us in all of our request and needs. This hotel is one of my favorite and would go back there again, surely! Highly recommended!
The rooms are very spacious. Most rooms have two queen-sized beds. The beds are very comfortable and gave us a great night's sleep. Tip: ask for a room on the second floor for a quieter night and morning. (Note though, there isn't an elevator) The room usually comes with a breakfast buffet which is sometimes served in the hotel lobby and so if you're not an early riser (before 6 a.m.) the second floor rooms offer a better chance to sleep in. The breakfast is a basic breakfast: rice, bread, eggs, a couple meat products, cold cereal and milk, coffee and often some fruit. They have hot and cold purified water available in the lobby and at the top of the stairs on the second floor. They also have an ice machine in the lobby, something very appreciated but unusual for hotels in the Philippines. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A great place to stay in this part of the country.
For an underrated province like Nueva Ecija, it's good to have an accommodation option as nice as Microtel Cabanatuan. The location might be considered "out of the way", especially since it's quite far from all the province's hot spots, but staying here is delightful. The rooms are nice with Microtel's signature chiropractor-approved bed and my beloved window bench. My favorite however is the swimming pool! Since it's searingly hot during the day in Cabanatuan, the heat from the soil naturally warms up the pool at night. An evening dip is highly recommended! The ambient lighting by the pool is also conducive for relaxation. As for the food, the in-house restaurant serves truly delectable food. In fact, it's a favorite food place among locals.
Among all the Microtel properties in North Luzon we had been to, Microtel Cabanatuan is my favorite. I was particularly taken by the inn's swimming pool that gave a formidable tranquilizing intimate comfort and relaxation.
Microtel Cabanatuan has become a favorite Microtel hotel for me. I’ve always known that Cabanatuan is a really hot place, especially more during the summer. So having this amazing inn in the province of Nueva Ecija was truly a God-sent. The facade of the hotel was nice. But the interiors just blew me away even more. I like anything that’s tropical-inspired, and Cabanatuan definitely exuded this type of setting. I enjoyed the moment I stepped foot inside the hotel. The lobby/reception was spacious, with splashes of earth tones, with paintings and write-ups made for all the Microtel properties located in North Luzon. I also enjoyed our room, as we were provided a 2 Queens bed room with an amazing view of the pool! The pool was divine and quite inviting! It might not be that deep (chest-deep only), but it still gave my friends and I warm welcome after touring under the heat of the sun the entire day. Surprisingly, the water was naturally warm, as if it was heated. Buffet breakfast was also nice and filling, and the staff were all very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!
