Booked my hotel room through Orbitz. Not sure how, but it shows I requested a Handicap room. I did not do this specifically. The Handicap room was not a great accommodate, especially because I had no requirement for the handicap room. The Hotel had other rooms available, but would not switch me to another room without adjusting my room rate. The room rate I got was based on availability in Early March, and the rate was $45+ more per night when we were there. The handicap room had the bathroom sink and counter outside of the bathroom. The shower didn't have anything blocking the water from the shower head from getting all over the entire bathroom floor. Based on showerhead placement, even though there was a shower curtain, the water just pushed the curtain out of the way and got all over everything. We had the room booked for 2 nights (Friday & Saturday). On Saturday morning about 1030, housekeeping came to the room and I told them that we would be in the room until about 1pm, and asked if they could come back later. At that point I was told that this person did not do late cleaning. While hanging by the pool with my daughter and other parents from her volleyball team, a front desk person came into the pool area and rudely told me I could not have "these kinds of drinks, in the pool area". We had 2 empty bud light cans sitting on the table. If no drinks are allowed, I am ok with that, but the manner with which I would told I couldn't have them in there was not professional.

I arrived late. There was a customer waiting at the front desk when I pulled up. We both stood there waiting for several minutes before the desk clerk showed up. My stay was fine, but I was disappointed that breakfast ended at 9:00. That is too early for late night travelers.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time. The beds are very comfortable and the room was clean. All of which is very important to me and my family. Thank you.

This motel is s jewel. Clean, comfortable and easy to use. I always nook it when in Grand Rapids.

I thought the hotel was very good. The staff was friendly, the rooms were overall clean and comfortable. There were just a few minor things that I felt could have been better. The pillows in my room were very sub-par. I had a King bed for just myself, and none of the four pillows was even remotely comfortable. Very lumpy, very cheap. I also felt that the pool area was extremely uncomfortable. The hot tub was very nice, great temperature. However the pool was extremely warm, to the point it wasn't even refreshing. I felt the water coming out of the jets into the pool and it was extremely warm. To go from the hot tub to the pool should be a significant difference and have an initial shock of cool, but there wasn't much of a difference. Really, those are the only two concerns that I had that I would like to see addressed. Everything else was really great, and I would recommend this especially for business traveller's where the pool area may not be extremely important.

It was fantastic! Great hotel with extremely great customer service. Will defiantly attend there again :)

The room and hotel was in very good condition. Depending on where a person was needing to go, it can be a great location or a little remote for those going into Holland. The breakfast can be improved upon as far as selection but it was well maintained and kept well supplied.

Was a small hotel, but provided everything I needed. Rooms were typical hotel rooms and clean. They had a good breakfast included as well with eggs, sausage and waffles, etc

My party had 3 adults and 2 kids and I reserved a two-room double-queen suite, but at a price that is even cheaper than many stardard rooms. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The extra room are great for kids to play, watch TV and even cook our own meal. It also gave us two bathrooms so that we do not have to wait long to take a bath or shower for all five of us. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. This 3-star hotel had certainly suprised me in many ways.

This place is located in a pretty rural setting. Clearly there is going to be development coming. The Tavern next door is supposed to be quite good, but unfortunately was closed because it was Sunday. The carpet and chair in the room both had some sort of stain on them, but were clean otherwise. The breakfast is ok for continental, with fruit, rolls, and waffles. Quiet, well lighted, and safe

Had a great time. Great value and the pool and breakfast was very good.

This hotel was in the perfect place at the perfect time. We arrived about 11:00 am, check in at 3:00. Explained we had just finished a 24 hr race and would appreciate any help we could get. I left my phone number, and before we finished breakfast I got a call our room was ready--they had been totally booked the night before . The hotel was clean and very we'll decorated. It looked really upscale. The breakfast bar was well stocked and free coffee was available 24 hr If the one employee hadn't smelled of smoke(a real turn off) then everything would have been PERFECT.

I stayed here for one night and the room was very clean; staff was friendly. I arrived late for breakfast and the attendant even offered to bring back some of the food she had already put away. The only downside is that it is a little bit away from the city, but it is right by the highway. I would stay here again.

We only stayed 1 day. It was right off a main highway, so very easy to see. The staff was hands down exceptional. They were upbeat and actually acted like they liked their job. That alone speaks volumes about a hotel. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the continental breakfast area was clean and well stocked. We would stay here again.

The hotel room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The internet connection was a little slow (less than 1MB up and download speeds). The price was just RIGHT! I have found a new Hotel to look for when I travel. The breakfast was good also with pleasant and courteous staff. There was a pool but I didn't have time to use it. If there was one thing that could be improved is to place ice machines on each floor. Other than that, this Hotel is a great value for the money.

What a great room with a great price! A great place to stay!

Clean, comfortable, good location right off the highway, free breakfast in the morning.

I booked a room with 2 Queen bed, a microwave and a fridge (I have two small kids). In order to get all that I paid for I had to change 4 rooms and wait almost 1 hour to the reception to solve my problem even if I had the printed paper from travel agency that stated that. Also the water in the pool was to cold to swim, and also the location is 15 miles from downtown Grand Rapids. (Not close as they advertise.)

This hotel may be rated at three stars but, I give it five plus. Even though it was nine years old everything looked and felt brand new. Very well kept up. One of the cleanest rooms I've ever been in. The continental breakfast was excellent. MMMmmm waffles. Rates were reasonable. Staff was exceptional. We called the front desk for something we needed and it was at our door a few minutes(seconds?) later. We had such a good time we stayed an extra night. We would definately stay there again.

Nice hotel and very nice lobby. Breakfast area was very nice and food was fresh and good. Would stay there again. Rooms were very nicely done and so clean.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay with us; all guest comments are valuable in our efforts to improve our service to you. Your reservation was booked as a handicap king room, which is listed as, "Room, 1 King Bed, Accessible, Non Smoking" through Orbitz. Due to contractual obligations, we are not allowed to alter third party reservations for any reason ; in the case that we are able to make the change with third-party approval, an up-charge does apply. With it being peak season and our availability so limited, the rates do increase quite a bit between March and June. All of our rooms are set up the same as a handicap room with the guestroom sink and counter outside of the bathroom. The shower in our handicap king room is set up barrier-free for wheelchair accessibility; this is a legal requirement through the ADA . As a limited service hotel, our housekeepers are not on-site 24 hours a day. Housekeeping cleans all of our stayover rooms first thing in the morning; if they are unable to clean your room in the morning due to a no-service request, they will return up until noon to service your room. After check-out time, service is based on availability. Our pool area clearly states in multiple locations that food and beverages are not allowed, including both entrances in large, bold lettering. We are allowed to ask beverages of any sort to be removed from the pool area. We sincerely apologize that you felt this was unprofessional, but they were following policy and performing their job accordingly. Thank you for your feedback. Sincerely, Jorden Alessio General Manager

Hello Jean, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay; all guest feedback is highly valuable in our efforts to improve our service to you. Our breakfast goes from 6-9 AM weekdays and 7-10 AM on weekends. These times are set by Wyndham; nonetheless, we genuinely apologize that our complimentary breakfast hours do not align well with your late hours of travel. We will pass your suggestions along to Wyndham, as well, as your opinion is very important to us. As a limited service hotel, our Guest Service Agents have several duties other than the check-in process to tend to. We are truly sorry that you experienced any wait-time, as that can be frustrating at the end of a long day! There is a house phone in the lobby available at all times to reach Guest Services if they are not in view at the front desk to ensure there minimal wait-time for our guests. We do hope to see you again in the future, and we thank you for choosing the Baymont Inn & Suites! Sincerely, Jorden Alessio General Manager
