It’s hard to find a place to stay traveling with a cat. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the room was not very clean.
The couple who checked us in were really great and very helpful. When we went to our room the key did not work so we could not get into our room. The key was re scanned and the gentlemen came back with me to try and open the door and it still would not open. We got a key to the room next door got in and settled and then the TV wouldn't work. There was an issue with the cable box .... it didn't work. They apologized all over the place and moved us to a 3rd room where we could get in and the TV did work. The staff really tried to be helpful and these problems were out of their control. After traveling for almost 14 hours we were too tired to complain or make much of a fuss so ordered a pizza to be delivered and just went to bed.
This was acceptable for an overnight stay on the road...I was under- impressed with the quality of the room and property. Next time I am thru there I will seek out different accommodations. It was poorly maintained and everything was very outdated. Cleanliness was acceptable.
Needed a place to stay on the way to Idaho, rooms were clean, hot water in the shower, coffee in the room, right next door is a small restaurant called "Pineroom", an inexpensive four course meal. Every meal starts with a shrimp cocktail, then soup and salad, followed by the entree, less than $25 per person,
Management doing the best they can. Friendly and helpful. The property is old and in much need of up grading. The beds were at least 30 years old and so completely uncomfortable. We had to walk up the second story which was difficult, since I'd just had surgery and my husband very bad knees.
The internet went in and out, the room needed a remodel, the ice makers didn't work on either floor, every soda I pushed in the pop machine was out, the corners and along the wall hadn't been cleaned in a very long time in the room, the toilet paper was scarse, they gave shampoo but no conditioner, and when I asked if the bed was comfortable I was told it was but it was less than average. I would say for the price it should have been much better.
The facility was having difficulties due to no cleaning personnel so we waited over and hour to get into our rooms. The main manager was away as well with a fill-in doing her best. The facility needs a lot of upgrade but the room was comfortable and included a bed that was low enough for me to get into from my wheelchair, a situation that isn't available at many of the motels these days. I need a bed that if 18"-24" high and many of the current beds are 30" or worse. Thank you indeed!
This a last minute booking during a trip. Did a late check in, and had to wait 2 minutes for a response-not like others who said they couldn’t get anyone or two other establishments who said they wouldn’t allow coming in after 11 PM. Bed was comfortable after a long day of driving. I didn’t try the breakfast that was available. Room was older, but not disgusting or dirty. I would stay again when driving through Burns.
This was a great place to stay. We had children with us and it was very family friendly. Breakfast was goid, they had hot oatmeal, with temperatures outside in the teens, it was great! Close to everything.
The lady at the front desk was very friendly and personable. Room was old as were the furnishings. The price was right for our family of four but I made the kids keep their socks on so as not to walk on the dirty carpet with bare feet. Wifi was so slow it was useless. I would pay a bit more next time for a clean room.
