Quality Inn Colchester/Burlington Area

We often stay in the Burlington area when we visit relatives. This was our first time at the Quality Inn. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and the area was very clean. It's nice to have a hot food option for a change. There was a bit of noise late at night but it was a weekend so that is to be expected. The staff was friendly and accommodating. All in all it was a good value for the money and we will consider this hotel in the future.

To get a nicer room. The toilet kept flushing by itself, we had trouble opening and closing the door... wasn't the best hotel. Personal very nice, good choice of food for breakfast.

Spent five nights here while visiting family. Was like coming home each night. Clean, comfortable and very good breakfasts.

Hotel staff were pleasant and friendly. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

With initial check-in, the front desk staff was very courteous and friendly. First impression of the room was that it was quiet. The bed was pretty comfortable, but I didn't like that they used sheets over the comforter instead of a duvet cover. Staying in the summer, then cooling system didn't seem to take any of the humidity out of the air, but it was sufficient. The bathroom was clean, but the shower floor was a little slippery. Tried using the fitness room, which I would not recommend if you are looking for cardio machines: the elliptical didn't feel like it moved right, and the treadmill suspension must have been gone, because you could hear every step, and I hoped there weren't any people trying to sleep upstairs or in the next room. If you are looking for strength equipment, they did have a nice cable/pulley system, just know the AC doesn't work in that room at all, and it didn't sound like they were working on fixing it. Didn't try the outdoor pool at all. Breakfast was ok with a variety of options, coffee was good. Nice proximity to the highway and fast food/shopping center pretty close. Overall, if you are looking for a place to rest your head, this place will do the trick and not break the bank. If you are looking for place to spend a little more time, spend the extra money.

This Quality Inn had gluten free bagels for breakfast as well as two kinds of eggs, peanut butter, honey, and fruit. The next Quality Inn I stayed at did not have GF bagels and had a much more limited selection of food overall.

When we checked in the reception was lukewarm at best. We got to our room and it was very small. The bathroom was one of the smallest I have ever seen. The are lights outside every room that cannot be shut out so that it was bright in the room all night. The pillows were awful. The only saving grace was the breakfast. Their breakfast staff, two ladies, could not do enough for everyone there. They were always on the move, cleaning and making sure everyone was satisfied. They were great, as opposed to everything else about this place.

Air conditioning either was freezing or too we arm as settings didn't work properly. When turned on it leaked water that spread on the carpet and was soaking a large section of the carpeting in the room such that when I stepped out of the bed my feet got wet. The matresd was totally worn out and the pillows were worn so that it was like sleeping with no pillow. Flies throughout room as cleaning people must leave door open while cleaning. Staff didn't seem to care..manager wouldn't even speak to or call me..,Worst hotel experience I can remember

On the second day I was locked out. My key worked and the light turned green but the door would not open. Maintenance came right away and got me in and fixed the door.

We had by far the worst room in the entire hotel. It was right next to the door on the first floor and we heard doors opening and shutting all night as well as noise from the floor above. There were shows of wear and tear in room as well. It just felt dingy and run down. The staff at check in and check out were cold and unfriendly...basically robots. I complained about the noise and our room at check out and the girl barely looked up at me and said I will make a note no apology was given. I was there for a college visit with my daughter who is looking at colleges and we will never stay there again. It was horrible.

Hotel was adequate however, needs upgrades, especially the air conditioning units, which did not regulate at all making for an uncomfortable stay. Staff was friendly dealing with this, but were unable to fix the problem. Other guests also complained of the same issue. Nice breakfast in morning.

For the price, the room was disappointingly small. It had a mini-fridge, but no microwave. Sticky doorlock required a consistent 2 insertions of keycard to open, plus a good hard shove. Liked having to use keycard for elevator access nice safety-enhancement. Much of the furniture was worn/chipped. I expect better from Quality Inn. Make sure to close the bathroom door before you sit down too small to close the door otherwise!

The room was good for a 2 star inn, breakfast was substantial but worst front desk employees ever i have had encountered of all my hotel stay. Not welcoming, can't even smile a bit but rather would make face. Ahh! The stay would have been better if the staffs were courteous and friendly. I don't recommend this inn at all! Pricey and not worth because of the staffs.

We stayed at this hotel to support our daughter as she ran her first marathon. The proximity to the race and the breakfast made this hotel our hotel of choice if she chooses to run next year.

Okay to have a place to just sleep. Toliets were very sluggish, the desk is behind the refrig so you can't eat or work and watch TV. Beds were never changed just made up and I stayed there 6 nights. How do I know? Soy Sauce squirted on the bed sheet it was there my whole stay. I am a elite member, I had to tell the front desk this and ask for my water.

We like the proximity to UVM. Most of the staff are friendly and competent. We like the amenities too!

We had just one-night stay on our way from Quebec to Boston. This is very nice, clean hotel with the friendly stuff and nice breakfast. The swimming pool was very good bonus. We spent our time between the breakfast and check-out at the pool.

My SO & I had a wedding to go to for this trip. Driving the 8 hours to get to the hotel was long but amusing, though i wouldn't suggest driving at night because of the "no lights on the road" issue we discovered getting into VT. Location to the venue was very quick and not out of the way which was very nice. The hotel staff was very kind & helped with all our needs. I do not recomend their "complientary" breakfast, but didn't expect to much in the first place. Since the State is so small, finding other sources food was not a problem. The bedding in the room could us some improvements, and the bathroom situation is pretty tight, so i wouldn't suggest a long stay. Overall it was a quick weekend trip for the right price.

Stayed as part of a road trip--convenient to Burlington, and good for sleep and breakfast: all you need

This is a nicely kept hotel, in a terrific location & at a good price. I especially liked the added security of having to use a room key to access the elevators. I'll certainly stay here again when I visit my daughter, who is studying in Burlington.
