I enjoyed my stay so much, I extended my vacation there.

Issues with temperature in room, but hotel staff resolved it immediately. Other than that, it was clean, good breakfast, staff was professional.

Everything was great, until our last night. There was a wedding going on that night in the ball room. ( congrats to the happy couple) at 3:30 am i started hearing some talking. I brushed it off. But around 3:45 I had had enough. I could hear every single word the people were saying in the pool area. There is no way the front desk didn't here them too. But I had to call the front desk to get them to be quite. I honestly can't believe the hotel staff would allow people to sit in the pool area with tons of room surrounding it. At that hour yelling!! I had a 7 hour drive that morning. And this made that drive hard. Yes I understand that the staff couldn't do much but letting it go on like that for as long as it did was crazy to me. The lobby was less then 100 ft away from my room. The drunks were a little closer.

though I prepaid they put in a temporary charge for the price of the room at check in of 82, unacceptable.all equipment in fitness room was broken

Great place for the price. I will definitely stay here again. It was really nice to find a place with good amenities and breakfast that didn't gouge you for staying over the holidays. There were three food places within walking distance & a convenience store across the street.

There used to be something called customer service which meant ingratiating (<< look it up... in a real dictionary) one's self to the customer. That idea did not seem to exist at this hotel. When a customer has to stand for over ten minutes without being acknowledged because the desk person is talking to other hotel employees and delivery service people - that's just rude to the customer... I get it - a delivery is important, however if your customers get treated like this regularly you won't need those deliveries - will you?? Also when a customer books a hotel online and pays for the room in advance online, they should not be charged a second time at the hotel when checking-in, ESPECIALLY when the customer TOLD the desk-person that the room was PRE-PAID, the desk-person who was obviously distracted by the other employees and service delivery, seemed uninterested in getting it right and was more interested with getting back to her flirtatious discussion with the employees and the service delivery guy... Also on-checking out, I waited in similar fashion, till I could not wait any longer because my transportation was ready to leave. Overall it was a pain checking-in and checking-out I should have paid the extra $20-25 to stay at the other hotel in the area...

This may have been a great place when it was newer, but now it is dirty, grimy, and dingy. They do not vacuum in corners; the carpeting throughout was very dirty and stained. They provide a liner for the 1 wastebasket but they don't actually put it in. We thought maybe it was an oversight, but when we came back later in the day, it had been emptied, but the liner was still just draped over the edge of the receptacle. The lamp shades were old and stained, and there were dark hairs in the sink when we arrived. :( Check-in was the worst I've ever experienced. It wasn't that she rude, but she lacked professionalism and did not know how to check in someone who booked through a travel agency. Had the manager not intervened, we would have been charged twice for the room.

Women was very rude asking which one of the ladies I was with who was 21. The front desk lady saw my ID and let me rent. (I didn't know I had to be 21) and she let us get our room. Room on the outside was dirty and service was horrible! We ended up spending a second night, at another, nicer hotel.

Beds were very comfortable. Internet worked well for the three days we stayed. Breakfast included hot foods as well as the standard fare. Parking was a bit sparse. A lot of construction workers staying at the time of our stay, so breakfast bar got cleaned out quick and messy fast. Water pressure was our only real problem, there was very little.

The first room they gave me smelled mildewy. The second room gave me smelled of smoke and this was a non smoking hotel. After I turned on the air it smelled better in there. Nice hotel, pool, good breakfast and great location.

Fingernail clippings on the floor, stains on the bedsheets, room so humid our towels were damp and musty smell like mold in the room, tiny restroom space, there were members of the staff who went out of their way to improve our visit, but the experience was still very poor overall.

Nice place to stay and worth the money. Only complaint is the breakfast starts at 6am. A couple days they had it out at 5;20 so I was able to enjoy breakfast before work. 99% of the people staying during the week are there for wrk and need to leave by 5.30ish.

I grew up here and this hotel is very familiar to me....junior prom in 1972 and many class reunions, so I know that this hotel is old and has some aging issues, but the room was very clean and every single person on the staff for 3 days were absolutely wonderful to us. They were all in great spirits despite having to work through the Holidays and made our stay absolutely wonderful.....thank you everyone

THIS WAS THE FILTHIEST ROOM I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. I SLEPT IN MY CLOTHES.!!!!

[...]When we got there the place looked abandoned. Curtains hanging, lobby stunk, no cars in the parking lot. We were not staying there, we have a 15 month old daughter and that place was DISGUSTING! [...] We never even checked in the room and we got charged 80$. [...]

Staff was very friendly and the site was very clean

Thank you for your review. Although the room was paid for in advance we do require a credit card for any incidentals. Unfortunately once we put the card on file it will authorize. This is just an authorization and is released upon check out. We are in the process of replacing the fitness room equipment. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope to have you stay with us in the future.

Great place for the price. I will definitely stay here again. It was really nice to find a place with good amenities and breakfast that didn't gouge you for staying over the holidays. There were three food places within walking distance & a convenience store across the street.

This may have been a great place when it was newer, but now it is dirty, grimy, and dingy. They do not vacuum in corners; the carpeting throughout was very dirty and stained. They provide a liner for the 1 wastebasket but they don't actually put it in. We thought maybe it was an oversight, but when we came back later in the day, it had been emptied, but the liner was still just draped over the edge of the receptacle. The lamp shades were old and stained, and there were dark hairs in the sink when we arrived. :( Check-in was the worst I've ever experienced.
