Hilton Burlington

3.5 out of 5.0

We had a bad experience mainly because the room was incredibly small and near the elevator (noisy). It was an abysmal value. The restaurants and the bar were very average. The staff was fine, but the food offerings were nothing to write home about. We found out later that other local hotel are much better. We had a great meal at the restaurant on the Hotel Vermont, for instance.

Great location in Burlington for our last night - close to the airport and other cool things (shops, wine bars....)

First time in Burlington and this was a great location with a good price. I paid a bit more for a lake view which is definitely worth it. The hotel is just OK but the city and view make up for it. Everything is a short walk away.

It is walkable to the waterfront and to the shopping and dining areas of Burlington. The garage was being refurbished at the time, but that didn't matter because we parked it in the lot and walked to everything we wanted to do.

Our stay was short, but very comfortable and enjoyable.

We stayed here last minute. The place had several restaurants and bars closeby for food, which was perfect. The beds were comfy and shower was great. I would stay here again

Parking a car here is $15 a night. So include that in your budget. Was placed in room 217. Right next to squeaky elevators. I didn't notice until I was trying to sleep. Just say no to 217!!

Staff was very helpful, everyone was very friendly- a great stay

used to stay here in 80s but had been going to Marriott lately as it is a newer and a little nicer. price was worth it, still a very nice place, beautiful water views.

The hotel was really close to the water with a nice view. Everything was easy walking distance to food, shopping and views of Lake Champlain. The only surprise was extra fee for parking but not a real negative.

We checked in for a couple of days of knocking around town and cycling along the waterfront. I like the Hilton here for it's location even though the place is a bit worn and inconsistent in service and food quality. We had breakfast at the Skinny Pancake one morning and at the Diner just up the street another...much better choices than the hotel. Overall, a laid-back scene and I have no complaints.

Very friendly staff and helpful. I loved our stay.

I booked a city view room for a reasonable rate and was pleasantly surprised when the front desk clerk gave me a lake view room instead. I could look across the beautiful lake and later ran along it where I saw people walking. Hotel is fantastically convenient to Church St also where we dined and listened to live entertainment outside in the evening.

The location of this hotel was super convenient, being about a 10 minute walk from all restaurants and the waterfront. The lake view room was beautiful and the beds were decently comfortable. I have no complaints about the hotel except parking. It is $15/day which the hotel charges you to park in the city lot. We left on a Sunday when the gates were open so we could have parked for free instead of paying the $30 because we never moved the car.. If you're planning on driving during your stay it's worth it, if not it's better to park elsewhere!

Wow what a great location. Views of lake Champlain. Walking distance to shops restaurants and bars. Will stay again with my wife. Beautiful spot.

We booked and paid for executive level room for 2 nights. When we got there, the lady gave us a 2nd floor room without mentioning anything until we asked why it was not executive floor. She said it was all occupied, no apology at all. The room was small, with trash on the floor and stains on the sheets. We wanted to check out after one night, they told us they would not refund the second night. Rude and unapologetic the whole time.

This is our go to hotel in Burlington. Close to everything, beautiful view of the lake and amazing pillows!

Hilton Burlington was awesome. Friendly staff that went above and beyond to please us. Excellent bar and room service with selections for every taste. Hotel is in a great location, close to lots of retail and restaurants and bars.

Hotel staff are genuinely interested in making sure guests have what they need, making special efforts to find the right tea bags, for example. We have returned here three times in the past year and look forward to our next trip.

Excellent stay & beautiful hotel!! I was very impressed by the accomadations & friendliness of the hotel staff. The room had a gorgeous view of the lake. It was also in perfect walking distance of many great shops and restaurants!

Thank you for providing some feedback about your recent visit with us at the Hilton Burlington. We are so lucky to be located as we are- with convenient access to the Church Street Marketplace and an amazing view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. I am sorry that charges for parking came as an unpleasant surprise. The garage is owned by the city and we have tried to work out a deal that offers great value with unlimited access in and out. I will do my best to make sure our guests are aware of the charge before their arrival. Thank you again for this review and I hope you have a great day!
