Noise from the railroad close by will drive you nuts. Hotel staff not willing to help. Had to book another hotel and left around 1 AM. Orbitz staff not helpful to get refund. Will not use orbitz in the future. Bye
They were short staffed but they did not lack in service. Very nice people and we were within 10-15 minutes from everything!! Definitely will stay there again!!!

The free parking was great! The room was nice and spacious.
Stay was just one night. But was pleasant. Nothing crazy or over the top, but staff was accommodating and friendly. Room wasn’t bad. Nothing to write home about but it was a nice stay for the location and price.

Dear Shrinivasa, Thank you for your recent stay at the award winning Chicago South Loop Hotel. I am truly sorry that the Transit Trains were a bit noisy, next time I suggest that you'll request a room change on the other side of the hotel. Please know the CTA L as called here has been operating for over 100 years, the rail system runs through the Chicago Loop where all the other major hotels are located. This hotel in particular has a super sound proofing system for the very reason, as a result the noise level at this hotel is greatly curtailed. Sincerely The Management & Staff
