Harrah's Laughlin Hotel & Casino

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

We were able to check in early which was really nice. We were even able to get a room near some friends we were meeting. Great accommodating hotel.

Busy weekend, staff was still pleasent and nice. Elevators were very busy

It appears that mgmnt wants to put as little as possible into aesthetics. It appears mgmnt wants your money & the guest to be in/out as quick as possible. The landscaping looks as if it hasn't been taken care of in years & what they do take care of (the grass) appears in dire need of fertilizer. When this hotel opened it was the classiest one on the river - now it looks as if it may be headed to foreclosure. Harrah's (Caesars Entertainment) has decided to get rid of human employees & put as many slots in as possible. It has definitely lost its original curb appeal. It has also lost it's 'south of the border' theme in favor of a generic slot house. Gone are all the little details that made it a unique property; it looks cheap and run down. The room had not been vacuumed, it appears the bathroom was only wiped down as there were many hairs in the bathtub, if the towels were clean they are in dire need of replacement as they appeared to be well worn. I used to stay frequently at this hotel in the late 1990's and it is no where near the caliber of hotel now that it was then. Next trip to Laughlin will be at another hotel.

There's a small, no smoking casino room, but to get to restaurants and bars, you run the gauntlet through a fog of cigarette smoke.

Went with my family great experience close to the beach for the kids store food service was great hope to be back for week vacation in august with my whole. family

I was really looking forward to our visit to Harrahs Laughlin. I had stayed at that resort years ago when it first opened. Since that time the quality of amenities and the cleanliness of the facilities and room has declined. I was appalled that the representative at the front desk recommended that we upgrade to the adults only tower because of the busloads of Asians that were staying in the tower I had paid for already. This is was enough to warrant a desire to never stay at this hotel again.

Staff was very nice. Hallway smelled, room was fine. Only there one night. Did not really explore hotel. Price was great.

Hotel needs renovation Buffet is exoensive and food is not good

Hotel is as advertised. Many amenities including beach on the Colorado. Food Court undergoing some renovations, so limited selections available.

Room is very outdated (kinda normal for Laughlin though). However, the bathroom smelled of urine / mildew. It was so strong that the entire room smelt of it. There also were no modern conveniences in the room either. Most other hotels will leave you some litature of what's going on or things to do in the room. I would not book this hotel again.

Compared to some of the other Hotel casinos Harrahs is at the top. However I would never stay there again. Room and bed were uncomfortable. No food or resteraunts were avable at midnight on a Saturday night. Also beware of the parking garage elevators as I got stuck in one briefly.

We were in Laughlin for a car show with friends. Had a great time, a lot of fun things to do. Looking forward to our next visit .

Everyone was very helpful we forgot some clothes and they made sure we got them back

We were there for 1 days but it was worth the stay, nice, clean room. Enjoy the pool and river!

We love staying here our second year back to back, kids love the beach and the pool. Our room was the best corner view of river and pool.

The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Grounds are lovely. Hotel is getting a little long in the tooth.

road trip from tx to ca stoped off for sleep then a bit of gambling and food the buffet is insanely good

Hotel is clean and room is comfortable I just didn't appreciate the front desk lack of customer service skills. But overall good hotel.

The location for the hotel is both good and bad. It is isolated from other hotels on the end of the main strip. That is a convenience in that most players were guests at the hotel. It was inconvenient to other hotels and the river walk because you had to walk along a sidewalk beside the main road. Harrah's should cut a path through the stone on the water's edge and join the sidewalk with the main river walk. If Harrah's would do that, the location would no longer be an issue. Two free passes were given to us at check-in for the breakfast buffet - WONDERFUL. The buffet was terrific.

Really fun time and very comfortable. Easy to find and park.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your recent visit to Harrah’s Laughlin. We are very sorry to learn you didn’t fully enjoy your stay. While we do have a state-of-the-art filtration system in our main casino, when there are several guests smoking it can seem smoky, however I’m pleased to mention that all of our restaurants are non-smoking and we do offer a bar in our non-smoking casino. We hope that you will continue to stay and play at Harrah’s Laughlin.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your recent visit to Harrah’s Laughlin. We are delighted to learn that you found our staff to be very friendly and that you were pleased with the rate, however I’m very sorry to learn about the odor in the hallway. Unfortunately, such as at a residence, unexpected maintenance is required without warning at hotels as well. Please be assured that your comfort is very important and if you should ever experience an issue with an unpleasant odor, please don’t hesitate to ask for the Guest Service Manager and they would be happy to resolve any issues with odor. I’m pleased to mention that we do have a regular maintenance program and special projects in an ongoing effort to keep our property up-to-date. We hope that you will continue to stay and play at Harrah’s Laughlin.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your recent visit to Harrah’s Laughlin. We are sorry to learn you didn’t fully enjoy your stay. We do have a regular maintenance program and special projects in an ongoing effort to keep our property up-to-date. I’m pleased to mention that we are updating our rooms with fresh paint, new carpeting and mattresses where needed, some new furnishings and some other projects to bring our property up-to-date and will continue our efforts through 2017. We are also planning on starting a remodel project of our South Tower rooms in the near future. We usually receive outstanding comments regarding our Fresh Market Square Buffet, however if you should ever experience a problem in the future, please don’t hesitate to ask for a manager and they would be pleased to be of assistance in resolving any issues. I’m very sorry to learn that you felt our buffet is overpriced. We feel that for the high quality of food offerings and services, our prices are adequate. We hope that you will continue to stay and play at Harrah’s Laughlin.
