The property is hidden from highway noise but in the middle of several choices of things to do. There are a few loose ends after the renovation. On the 3rd floor one of the hall air conditioning units have the power connection laying on the floor and needs to be mounted on the wall. Pay attention to details.
Staff very friendly and helpful
My wife and I were traveling with our small dog and the Courtyard by Marriott was supposed to be "pet friendly". When we went to check in, we were told there was a $100 additional "cleaning fee" for our dog for a one night stay. This charge was not "friendly"! We are accustomed to paying an additional $20 to $30 when we stay at a hotel with our dog. Since we had pre-paid for the room, we had no choice except to pay the additional fee. The hotel was fine, we are just unhappy to have to pay that much additional for our pet.
The property was fine. The problem was that the hotel had rented the lobby and some of the rooms to a group for some sort of party for the weekend. The room in which they put us was in the middle of that group's rooms. (We didn't realize that there was an organized group until late Saturday night.) On both Friday and Saturday night at about 2 am, some of the group returned to the hotel and proceeded to talk very loudly, and in fact to yell in the hallways. At 3 AM on Saturday one of the group pounded very loudly on the door. We demanded a new room and were accommodated. One of the group told us that they thought that they had the entire floor. The next morning, the hotel manager told me that that was not the case. They did not have the entire floor. He reported that he would have to talk to the group organizers. And he did offer a reduction in our room cost. However, I blame both the group for their thoughtless behaviors and the hotel for not taking control of the situation at the time. What effect will the manager's reprimand of the group have? We will probably not stay there again despite the fact that it is convenient to our daughter's home. If you choose to stay there, be aware that there may be a large group of thoughtless people there. Check for that first before reserving.

It’s a good place to stay for the price. I
We stayed at this hotel for 1 night and it was very clean! The staff was kind and prompt making check in/out seamless. Once the curtains were drawn we could not hear the traffic from the highway and trust me I am a light sleeper. Overall it’s a great and clean place to stay for a night or two!
The hotel location is very noisy, but the service is good.
The room was small and smelled of smoke. Upon arrival there was a parking fee. The only good thing was checkout time was noon.
The hallways were really smelly, a mixture of old carpet and weed. The elevator doors would not close. The cafe food is decent but very pricey. Was looking for some tea/hot water because I got sick and this old lady at the concierge just looked up through her glasses snobbishly and said sorry we don't have any and the cafe is closed. What kind of hotel doesn't even have hot water. Was going to use the capsule coffee machine for hot water instead but there is brown goo in the machine. They have a free shuttle service that takes you within a 3 mile radius, but they don't tell you at check-in. It was my first time in Atlanta and would try my luck at a different hotel next time.
Incredibly loud. My room overlooked a part of a major highway where big semis were downshifting all night long.
The property was nice and clean. The staff was great. The only thing I didn't like was my room was very stuffy and I could not get rid of that stinch.
nice hotel, I didn't expect to have to pay for parking every night and breakfast was over at 10
