It is a good Hotel for the price. It has free parking.
My experience was terrific even before I arrived. I called the hotel to clarify if they had airport shuttle, and a driver was waiting for me within 5 minutes of arrival. Very nice lady gave me orientation of the city and neighborhood during the ride. Hotel is next to 24-hour Walgreen drugstore, and just 1 block from Allen Street entertainment scene. Great location and you can walk to city center in about 20 minutes. Very clean hotel in great condition. Very nice staff with bistro and bar.
Staff was amazing. Shuttle to and fro from the airport.
I like the fact they offer you free shuttle from the airport. I would recommend to add a pay per view channel for those windy and rainy days.
Nice hotel. I would recommend my friends and family to stay here. We like the location. Downtown Buffalo area and close to Canada. The only downside was the carpeting in the lobby. It has a bad odor and they should replace it. We didn't eat in their restaurant or sat at the bar. Otherwise it is a descent hotel to stay.
It's a basic Holiday Inn, price was good, suited our needs. Room clean and overall the staff very helpful, friendly. Location was perfect for us, purpose of visit was to see Frank L Wright sites - wonderful- and this was very convenient.
Hotel was close to the event we were attending. Staff was friendly.
The best thing about this hotel was the location and easy parking. The negative is that it needs a remodel badly. There was mold in the shower. The toilet rocked and needed maintenance. Despite evening else, the bed was very cozy. I slept like I was in my own bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed lunch and the new lattes in the restaurant. All in all good stay, but the hotel needs some maintenance.
Stayed there for a weekend for a sporting event downtown at the First Niagara Center. Location was convenient to downtown and wasn't very far away from a Metro station stop to get downtown. Room was clean -- no real view, but didn't really expect one and didn't care. Staff was courteous and helpful when I asked questions. Would stay there again -- reasonable price (was a bit higher than normal because of the sporting event taking place).
The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The location is great if your events are located in downtown. The hotel itself was average for the price.
I had a good time, service was good, clean, organized.pleasant and caring. I felt comfortable and willing to go back for a better price. Thank you so much....
-No Fridge in the room, when requested demanded additional charge; -No complimentary break-fast; -Ordinary break-fast for $8; -No Microwave oven.
All employees very nice. The rooms were very neat and clean, especially the bathrooms. I enjoyed my stayed there. No traffic jams to get to it. Perfect.
A very nice hotel. Everyone was friendly. The hotel food for dinner is good.
We arrived and the bathroom was left not clean. we tried to flash it but it did not work. They ended up sending someone to fix it just on time. The carpet felt wet all the time of our stay. The sofa is very old and also feels unclean. The bed was nice and comfortable! In general the hotel is not in a good shape and the picture they have is exaggerated for what you actually get. After all a fine stay, but will not stay there again
I was in town for a wedding and the recommended wedding hotels were significantly more expensive. The location was perfect - we were walking distance to a ton of great places (including the Anchor bar), the hotel shuttle took us everywhere we needed to get to, and we had a pool (the more expensive hotels didn't!). Really convenient, really helpful people. All around very good. Only negative was the waitstaff in the hotel restaurant were extraordinarily slow.
Had 3 rooms. One was without a hair dryer and the staff did not bring one up even after asking twice during the day. Nothing really bad about the hotel; just very ordinary but I caught it at a high price due to events in Buffalo so I didn't feel like I received much value for the money.
Was woken early on Sat. Morning due to housekeeping staff talking loudly outside my door for quite a long time. Ordered breakfast for two...only one meal came. Left room at 1:00 pm. Returned at 8 and housekeeping had never come in. Have stayed there several times before and was pleased. Someone from housekeeping did call and apologize for the staff persons behavior in the morning and room service was very nice about quickly getting the other meal up there. So staff was nice but just don't feel the service was what should be expected.
We only stayed for the night since we were in town for a comedy show so we didnt spend much time in the room....but the little time that we were there was fine. The staff was friendly and it was easy to check right in and check right out.
I am truly impressed. The staff was so accommodating and made my trip so stress free. I would HIGHLY recommend this Holiday Inn. The BEST experience I have had ever had.
