Great location and staff, The hotel are in desperate need of an update, the value I was paying usd 60 night is inexpensive but you don't get value for that in the room, terrible bed, very old and wear down bathroom. If you're not on a strict budget stay away.
Well located and cheap. However very poorly maintained....hairdryer fell off wall exposing wires when I attempted to use it. No plug in bath, no soap in lobby toilet throughout the stay , dingy room and staff that didn't seem to bothered about anything . Changed here at last minute as initial choice closed for renovation !
So, I originally had a reservation at Hotel Unique Elegance which happened to be closing the next day of our arrival.. Even they knew they were closing 2 days before, they didn't notify us! Anyway, we were relocated to this hotel. They always forgot to put new clean towels (they just colect... how come?), single sized blanket for a king sized bed... NO sheets under the blanket... and the breakfast was awful! The location was great, but other than that, I don't have any good memories of this hotel. I checked on booking.com and the price was almost half of Unique Elegance. Even so, they wanted to charge us the original price, I needed to complain every single morning util my check-out. Plus, their receptionists were really rude. My stay was so stressful and so disappointed with Unique group hotels. Never staying again.
TL;DR: Location is great. Service is ok, don't expect a 4 star one. Long version: Location couldn't be better for the amount we paid. You're close to everything, that neighbourhood is full of restaurants, shops, and places to explore. Regarding the hotel per se, they're missing some details to be a 4 star, in my humble opinion. Let's say: the housekeeper didn't even swiped the floor for as long as we stayed there. They took our towels everytime and left none (we had to ask reception to bring new ones, they later explained were having issues with the laundry service). The lift (elevator) was malfunctioning and didn't work at all 2 of the 5 days we stayed there. On the other hand, breakfast was very nice, we heard they have a new catering service taking care of it, it was their first week on this hotel. They were very polite and helpful. The recepcionist were polite as well.
Excellent location, close to shops and major sites. Very clean and comfortable hotel! Amazing breakfast. Good value, friendly staff and a very good choice for a special long weekend break. I strongly recommend this boutique hotel.
The outside looks great but once inside you can see that the hotel needs some remodeling and upkeep. Each of us in our wine group had something disastrous in their room. Either the wire to the chintzy table lamp was so frayed that the light went on and off, or their room to ceiling curtains were hooked only in two of the 15 places and hung dangerously or no place to hang anything in the bath. Also each room was really dark with few lights and so baths had no way to change bath to shower or Hot and cold water taps labeled incorrectly. The worst part was that when the group went out in total to an event (one Night) our rooms were searched for anything valuable, suitcases with combination locks were hard to open the next morning because they had been tampered with and unfortunately, someone left some money and it was stolen. One of our goup that was sick that night, said someone was knocking on all the doors. I guess to see who wasn't there. Sad. Had to be an inside job, since they had a key to open the door and look for whatever they wanted. Don't stay here. The breakfast was bleak and tasteless. Worst of all our hotels.
We were moved here when another of their chain mucked up our booking. Outwardly, and in the lobby it looks nice. The staff speak English which was useful. Our room was pretty tired though. Towels were Grey and a bit damp because the room was cold. The air conditioner did not work to heat the room but on closer inspection the mould and dust inside the unit may have been worse if it did work. Black mould on the walls in the bathroom and only half a roll of toilet paper. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable and we were only there one night. They also do a very competitive exchange for USD to ARP.
Just back after a weekend and have to say, it was a pretty good hotel. The staff were good, room was clean, and good bathroom. The faux-classical style of the lobby isn't quite to my taste, however as a hotel, it was more than adequate overall. I didn't bother with the breakfast (more due to the fact you have a tremendous bakery a block and a half away, than anything else). What makes this place worthwhile for me to use again is the fact you're located so well. Recoleta is a lovely area that is reminiscent of the nicer areas of Paris. The hotel is a 5 min walk from the cemetery, a block from Santa Fe (lots of buses), and is also close to the underground station. Will the hotel win awards and compel you to stay in? No, but it functioned perfectly well as a place to sleep while you explore during the day.
Everything very good. Including staff attention, breakfast, wifi, etc. Only inconvenience is the shower which partially floods bathroom.Well located for our scheduled activities. Nearby transportation to everywhere.
Unique Hotel Network is a complete scam and here is why: - The pictures are fake, as everything else in this hotel is fake, from art on the wall to smiles. They smile gently while the rip you off. - Almost everyone we met had been relocated, you never get the location you booked. - They "forget" you booked by booking, you need to ask (and sometimes fight) for your discount. - They charge more than the official rate, if you are paying if your card, you will the ripped of twice in just a move. - None of the hotels are 4 stars, I'd say 2 stars tops. - I've had better breakfasts in hostels. - Hotels are extremely out dated.
