Stayed only one night (thank god). The hotel was dark and not welcoming. The room was old and rather run down. Bathroom was even worse. The towels were old and frayed. We had an old style tub with a shower head, water leaked everywhere when showering. The hotel offers free WiFi but unfortunately the WiFi does not work and we had to go to a local restaurant to check into our flight. The breakfast was horrible as well. The bread and croissants were stale and old. The selection was minimal. The front staff was unable to give directions to some of the most popular places in the area. Nothing good to say. Avoid if possible!
Clean bathroom but not enough towels, poor supplies. Some lights did not work. Very dark!!! And finally breakfast: instant coffee, very little fruit. I had to ask for milk for my cereal and it was warm. Medialunas re-heated and burnt. Location excellent!!
The only good thing about this place is the location. Other than that, it’s terrible: Rooms are dark and dirty. Bathroom is especially dirty and poorly equipped. Facilities are simply non-existent. Pool has never been cleaned up and it’s not healthy to swim in it. But above all, the service is remarkably awful. The cleaning lady refused to make up the room because I was sleeping after 12:00 and the receptionists are rude and lazy. They have clearly some issues of management that make the hotel be miserable. They made made me feel uncomfortable during my stay. I would never come back here or recommend it to anybody. Certainly a very bad experience.
We stayed in this hotel for one night. Our last night in Argentina. Location-wise is very good as there are so many good resurtants nearby. Other than that, unfortunately, not good. Rooms are not good. Not clear. Furniture and bed are in need of total replacement. Bathroom is not clear. Staff, however, are helpful.
I found this hotel on the recommendation from a friend. I personally like the friendly boutique feeling which is a little rough and ready. I was staying at the Sheraton for a few days and wanted a change. The hotel is right in the middle of the Palermo area which is full of great little cafes, bars and restaurants as well loads of funky little shops. This area is also only a short taxi ride away from most of the sights. For the price it is well worth it and yes there was a little rust running when you first turn on the tap but it is part of the charm. At around $70 dollars a night including breakfast in a city like Buneos Aires it is very good value. I was paying $200 a night room only at the Sheraton in a terrible area, but hey I did have clear water!! I would defiantly recommend this hotel if you are on vacation and just want to have a nice base. Great wine shot directly across the road by the way.
I love this place, is very nice. The location is amazing! Is right there in Palermo and you'll find a lot of places around to go to. The manager is great, he and his staff do an outstanding job! I'll come back!!
During our stay there were multiple power cuts with the longest one happening on our last day/night. Not only did we have no power but we didn't even have clean running water. The water coming out the taps was brown and dirty. When I asked about this at front desk I was told this was rust from the tanks and it would be sorted in the next 20 minutes. 20 minutes turned to 20 hours and the following morning the water was still brown. We weren't even given any bottled clean water. The lady at the front desk did apologise and said that we would be given a refund of the night as compensation. When we asked for this the following morning she retracted that statement and offered us a drink of our choice from the bar!! The swimming pool and terrace area is completely misrepresented on their website. The swimming pool water was so dirty that we couldn't use it. Even asking for towels to take to the pool was a HUGE effort for the staff. They also charged my credit card without my permission for the room after clearly stating I wanted to pay cash. If this isn't all bad enough there isn't even a manager who you can speak to. I have emailed and rang many times since to claim compensation but I still haven't heard anything back....Diego I am still waiting.
We were four and now we're two. Half of us gave up. It took 25/30 minutes to check in (no line just mess) and by the time we got to the rooms it was filthy smelly and with stains. Water would run from the sink to the floor because of holes inside the sink. The bar is closed. The cute lights at the garden are mostly dark and havent been replaced in a while. I've been to this place a few years ago. It was awesome. Now its sad. Left. Check their instagram...they dont have it. I mean...not caring about their image on social media kinda shows how much they're caring right now. Nothing. No love, no care. Bad, too bad.
Great room with super confortable king bed! The hotel's service is good, it's room are fairly spacious, with a lovely balcony. Very well situated! The lobby area is well designed & very nicely decorated
The hotel is an old mansion, with very old structures and devices. The first room was very dark and smelt bad, but we managed to change for a better one, although the air conditioning Did not work. We asked for a cab through the hotel that charged a lot more than usual. The breakfast is terrible . The Internet is poor. DO NOT ASk FOR TAXI THROUGH THE HOTEL!!! Do not include breakfast !
