The hotel has a great location, rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast os acceptable

The Hotel's location is incredible. You are in the center of town! For the price- it was well worth the stay. The breakfast buffett was pretty good. They do need to purchase new bedspreads- they were a little outdated and showed wear.

Very clean hotel in all areas. The staff was friendly, helpful and kompetendes. Kullinarisches awarded supply and quality. The central location short distances to Subway and bus station. Who does not want to hike can after herzenslust relax in the beautifully preserved wellness area with indoor swimming pool. We have enjoyed the stay at the hotel and can recommend it without hesitation.

Rooms were claustrophobic, our bathroom had a sewage smell, the showers were tiny and slippery and very dangerous. We didn't have toilet papers or towels. The amenities had an extra charge even for hotel guests and don't let yourself be deceived by the pictures and the pool size. The glasses were dirty at breakfast time, they had orange juice pulp from the day before and we even found lipstick in our glasses. You have to treat people from the counter carefully, they explode easily, unfortunately we had a couple of arguments with them. The location was great! I can't argue that, luxury rooms had a great view of the obelisc, but a bit noisy at mornings.

The Hotel was conveniently located in the center walking distance to most place. However, they lost my reservation and I thought I might have to book another Hotel. The staff did not seem to care that it was a mistake on their part. The room was the size of a closet. When I asked about another room I was told that they were not available at the internet price. The breakfast buffet was very nice.... I do not think I would stay here again.

I booked numerous rooms for my Group arriving from the USA. A week before my group arrived I checked with the hotel and they had only partial reservations. After several days of e mails and telephone calls the issue was cleared up. The staff and management was not very clear as to how to correct the issue. Unfortunately, all my guests had double occupancy and they were given the smallest rooms with minimal room for luggage. (Inadequate for two people.) Great location, but it seems they staff caters to Latin American tourists with different expectations. The best rooms are with the view of Julio 9 and the Obelisk...with a great view of the city., It would seem they were not offered when booking on line... The hotel is ideally located in the center and walking distance to many attractions ... The breakfast is a a very nice buffet. Also note... there is WiFi and you will be charged a nominal rate... The Wi Fi in the lobby is free... and they do have a very nice lower lounge area where you can sit and do work.

hotel was okay for the money. [...].the hotel room extremely small. the staff at the hotel were very helpful and nice and they had good internet connections. it was on a very busy street right in the heart of buenos aires near the monument. everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. the calle florida (main shopping area) was only about a 6 block walk.i would stay there again for the price, even though the size of the room we got for our price was very small by anyone's standards.

good

Smack dab right next to the obelisk. The balcony in the room I had overlooked it which was really cool. The staff was nice and spoke English which was great. The room itself was really nice. Somewhat spacious and very comfortable. The location is pretty much smack dab in the middle of the city and very near a lot of great sites. This was a good place for the price.

Nice hotel, good location

After standing at the check in desk for awhile with three people behind the counter talking to each other, I asked if this were where i was supposed to check in. Yes. The desk service never got better of friendlier. Ditto in the hotel bar/cafe. You practically had to jump up and grab the waiter/waitress if you wanted any service. They were quite good at walking right past you as if you were not there! Room was fine, noisy but decent size. No CNN international and the CNN Espanol would not come in clearly. Great breakfast every morning! Excellent location to get on the "Supte" (subway) or to hail a cab and even to walk a shot distance to Avenida Florida for interesting shopping.

Location of the hotel is great. You have everything within walking distance. We were able to go on tours reserved by hotel personnel. We found the tours to be reasonably priced and well informed. Overall, our hotel experience was excellent. I would come back in a heart beat and recommend it to anyone.

The experience was fine, the hotel was very well located. Only problems were that they should not market themselves as a four-star hotel, since they clearly are not at that level anymore (which would be fine if they didnt say anything, since their rates are not very expensive), and that the "wellness & spa" are not open on sundays or holidays, which is really crushing if you just want to enjoy some pool time.

The location of Hotel Republica was great; just a step away from the Obelisk in the middle of downtown Buenos Aires. The complimentary breakfast every morning was definitely a plus, in addition to the great spa services after a long day of sightseeing. The only drawback was the size of the room, as it was similar to rooms in Europe in terms of the layout. Over all, the price and location were excellent.
