Hotel is just steps away from Subway station, and is in very convenient location. Many restaurants, shops in area and is safe to walk around even late at night. Comes with the basic necessities such as free wifi, free breakfast, and safe in room. Bathroom very clean, and great water pressure for the shower. Would definitely recommend to others, and will saty here again next time in Buenos Aires. Great value for money.

Buena ubicacion del hotel, bueno el servicio del hotel

Hotel was very clean. Dining room had plenty of Food. Staff was helpful in everything. Note: I am a tango dancer, so this location was walking distance from many MILONGAS (tango Places). I stayed two weeks at this hotel and i recommend it. The only downside, was it did not have a security box. so, i left a tip for the maid everymorning, and all was well. Plus, bank cash machine was across the street.

Jorge at the front desk makes the hotel. Had it not been for him, my rating would have been much lower. The location is good, not great. The room was just a room, but it was quite clean thanks to Soledad who cleans both the 6th and 7th flooors. She's just the sweetest. Starbuck's is next door. The breakfast buffet was quite good.Easy access to the subte (subway) 2 blocks away.

The room I received was not what was pictured - far worse. The hotel is downtown so to speak and it is extremely noisy. The noise from the street does not stop - making it difficult to sleep. It is a rundown hotel. For one or two nights it is doable - but probably not for someone vacationing or trying to relax/enjoy themselves. The staff on the other hand was extremely helpful; beyond what was expected of them to make your stay comfortable. The selling point is the price. Hotels in B.A. can be expensive. However you get what you pay for. Kudos to the staff.

Great location, helpful staff, room was clean and comfortable, nothing fancy, but much more than we expected for the price. Nice breakfast and within walking distance of most BA attractions. Many nearby cafes and restaurants.

We needed a good clean place to stay while in Buenos Aires. The Mundial would be OK for a one night stay for biz but would not recommend for a lengthy stay. The hotel is clean and the staff nice. The continental breakfast is on par with most. The rooms are adequate but the baths are small. Lots of late street noise but if you can sleep through that your fine. My biggest complaint was the bed. It was much like sleeping on a slab of marble.

Right on Ave 25 de Mayo between the Plaza de Mayo and the congressional building. Lots of places to eat near by, and a lot to see as well. The room itself was really clean, but small. The bathroom was a little tight to use, but wasn't too bad. The staff spoke English and were easy to deal with and nice. Overall it was a very good deal for what I paid for the room.

Small Rooms and bath. Good Location. Nothing to write home about but good for an overnight stop over in Buenos Aires. I probably wouldn't stay at this location if I were staying longer than a night. Great Internet Connections!

pretty good hotel, can be a little noisy but is near everything in the center of town all within walking distance . subway line near hotel entrance and many eating places nearby . great breakfast available and the rooms are basic but are clean . front staff are very available to do anything that is asked of them .

My second stay at Hotel Mundial was very different from my first. The room was much smaller with a small twin bed and paint pealing from the ceiling. The tv did not work properly. The staff was helpful with information and booking transport to the airport. However, because there were some hours before my flight, the staff person suggested that I leave my two bags in their storage and spend those hours in Buenos Aires. When I came to claim my bags, only one was there. The backpack with most of my purchases from a month in Argentina was missing along with the clerk who took them to storage. I was told he became ill and went home. The clerk on duty told me it was too bad that sometimes people take what is not theirs. She said the hotel can not be held responsible for luggage left in their care. It is extremely dissappointing to lose over $100 of prescription medicine which will do the thief no good as well as over $300 of gifts for my grandchildren.

The reception staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel is on 25 de Mayo which is near the Microcentre close to transport routes, historic buildings, cafes. etc, It is an beautiful old character building with a great lift. However this is a busy area the city and so the rooms, especially the lower floors, are affected by traffic noise. They have a good selection of items, and some yummy medialunas, for breakfast (nothing cooked) however the kitchen staff are slow to clear used tables for the next guests. The hotel is old (and needs a bit of a face lift) but they are doing it up slowly and it has okay bathrooms and great hot water and water pressure. If you are on a budget, like the city, and old buildings stay here. If you want an American style hotel, hgo to the USA!

Great hotel, great price, WiFi in every room, Late check out at no extra charge. Staff was very accomadating. Highly recommended!!!!!

Hotel Mundial is a solid hotel with a good location and great value for the price. It also has a nice continental breakfast buffet that is included in the price and free wifi in your room. It is very basic, but has everything you need and maybe a little more for a hotel in that price range.
