Good hotel. Nice rooms and they offer free breakfast and free wifi. The location is also very good. One thing to improve: the rooms do not have a desk if you need to work. The Boca thing is not that notorious if you do not care about soccer.

The staff was very helpful and the hotel was very nice for the value. The location is good and the included breakfast was good too. My only issue for not rating this hotel 5 stars was the inability to control your rooms temperature. Our room was warm & stuffy and we attempted to set the thermostat and nothing happened. We called the front desk and they said the other rooms on the floor were cold and they are only allowed 1 temperature per floor, so we were stuck with it. To make things worse, our neighbor was smoking in their non-smoking room and the cigarette smell came through our vents since the floor shares the same ac system.

Hello everybody I stayed at the Hotel Boca by design suites 4 times over the period of 7 weeks throughout July-August 2017. This hotel was just what I wanted with clean good sized rooms, a filling breakfast, and professional, friendly staff. I have to thank in particular Omar who was the first staff member I met and was totally professional. And particularly Daniela who throughout my stay was always smiling, knowledgeable and kind. Also Miguel, Alejandro, Fernanda, Emiliano, Adrian, Melania and all the staff Muchas Gracias for a great stay.

This hotel is esthetically pleasing. Nice to the eye and rooms are good sized and well decorated. The physical plant is just fine. However, service is marginal. Checkin is slow and tedious, checkin is at 6pm, the bar closes before 6pm and employees can be less than accommodating and sometimes surly. Having a cab called can take 15 minutes as the entrance is not on a beaten path. The neighborhood is marginal also but convenient to lots of better known districts. I used nothing from the minibar and they tried to stick me with a minibar bill. The bottled water in the room is $7 a quart so buy your own down the street in the Chinese colmado and save. The a/c is controlled by the front desk so even though you have a panel on the wall it is there for decoration. The rooms provided an uncomfortable nights sleeps. The bathroom was nice but the shower invariably dumped water on the floor and made entrance and exit from the tub a bit challenging and slippery. The buffet breakfast was nice and ample but they roll it up at 11 on the button so don't sleep late and expect a full breakfast. So this place could be a 4 Star but it isn't there yet in my opinion because the service level does not meet 4 Star standards.

My stay at Boca Design was short but sweet. Ultra modern, hip, cool style, with a twist for Soccer fans. The motifs, the beautiful soccer murals on the walls and in the colors of the Argentinan soccer team. A very comprehensive breakfast and fabulous lap pool. A huge thanks to Melania at the front desk who was very friendly and helpful. I will return.

Good accomodation, nice and modern with Gym, Spa, Pool and good breakfast. Large and silent room. Good for an short or long stay. Bathroom is also large and modern. Problem is restaurant/bar. At sunday they close very early so you must find something outside but close to the hotel during the weekend is all closed. So 15 min. walk or taxi for find something.

Just completed a four-nite stay. The Good: The room (in our case, a suite) was spacious, quiet and clean with plenty of open surfaces and electrical outlets. The bed was firm and comfortable. Wifi was strong and reliable. The breakfast food was hearty and plentiful. The staff was pleasant and helpful; the room was initially so poorly lit that it was impossible to read, so I asked for another lamp and one was delivered to the room promptly. The Bad: Others have mentioned that room service operates only during the day, but the two bigger negatives worth noting are the location and the fitness center. The streets surrounding the hotel were about the dodgiest we encountered in BA four days. Making that worse is that the immediate area is undergoing what appears to be a long-term road construction project, so getting to the hotel is dicey; cabs cannot always easily drive up to it, so you might have to walk 2 blocks with your bags on very torn-up, uneven, narrow sidewalks. Re: the fitness center, the website touts the hotel's lap pool, but it keeps very limited hours and opens only at 9 -- if you're lucky. The first morning, it opened at 9:30, the second at 12:30. The pool itself is covered in a glossy dark cobalt blue tile -- a serious safety issue, since it's almost impossible to tell when you're approaching the wall to avoid hitting your head. The flooring outside the shower stalls is like a slip-and-slide when wet (and, given the shower design, it becomes a big puddle.) So I'd advise staying at this hotel only after the major street work is done -- and then just be very, very careful in the health club.

We stayed here two nights while in Buenos Aires. What a great place! Very chic décor (Boca Juniors theme) which was fun. Breakfast was great, staff were friendly (everyone spoke enough English that it made it easy for us who speak no Spanish), and the rooms were spacious, well decorated, and very comfortable (loved the shower and Jacuzzi tub!) The only downside was the room service stopped before 6pm, and the restaurant wasn't open in the evening, but there are places not too far away and if you don't want to go out they will order pizza for you from the local pizza place (I don't recommend that as it took more than 2 hours and was cold when it arrived). Great location for walking around.

The hotel was booked as part of a travel package so we didn't know what to expect. The staff was friendly and the room was large and well maintained. We only stayed one night so we did not use any of the onsite amenities. I did find the larger than life soccer players as decor a bit odd.

This hotel was booked as an extension onto our journey and I didn't know what to expect, even though we have been to BA before. I am happy to report that we were really pleased with this property and the people that work here couldn't be nicer. I didn't understand the name and the theme until I saw it for myself-big football fans. The whole hotel is decorated creatively with images of football players and colors, and we really enjoyed it. There was a great gym that I used, the lap pool looked so nice, but we didn't have time as we were only there one night and there were places to walk to and tangos to see. So as far as walking, the location was excellent, we were there on Sunday so we could take advantage of the marketplace as well as walk around some of the many highlights of this beautiful city. The staff was very professional and went out of their way to help confirm a reservation that we made through a third party for a Tango dinner. The room was comfortable and clean, they made us an early breakfast to accomomodate our early flight. Would definitely look for this hotel again!
