We stayed at this hotel as a part of our tour and i must say it was the worst we had on that tour. The room looks normal when you first walk in but then you begin to see and smell the mould, the dents in the furniture and wear and tear. Our room smelt so we tgouggt turning on the air con to air it out but it smelled like cat pee. When we pulled open the curtain to open the window to let the smell put the wall was covered in dark black green mould from floor to ceiling. It was gross and a bio hazard. There are more pleasant hotels that can be found in nice parts of the city. If u can, try some where else. I would not return here.
I was at the hotel for a week, three days with no hot water. Others in our group had no electricity for 24 hours. The hotel is near a street where there are many demonstrations so the traffic is often blocked and there is lots of honking. Also when this happens it's inaccesible to taxis. The staff is either indifferent or helpless to resolve anything. It's also not an especially good neighbourhood. The center of San Telmo is quite far away. Avoid at all costs. Worst hotel I ever stayed at in Buenos aires.
Stayed here twice at start and end of trip. Dazzler was clean and quiet. The first time they gave us a mezzanine suite on the 13th floor - very nice! Breakfast was standard for Argentina but good. Location is good for San Telmo district and walking distance from Florida street. There is an ATM close by and a small shop just down the hill a little. It is about 40-50 mins by taxi from the the international airport. I would definitely stay here again.
Spacious and clean room, the reception staff were friendly and polite. Wifi signal was strong in the room and didn't drop out. Great location, easily walk-able to the metro station and various sights. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Overall very happy with my stay.
Wifi did not work, which is nowadays annoying when you want to plan for your stay and choose activities while you are in the hotel. Lights did no turn on, had to go to the reception. Room design is very basic, breakfast is average. The only interest of this hotel is its location, so better just plan to sleep there.
This place is okay . The one thing that really annoyed me was, they forgot to leave a remote control for the air conditioner in my room so I had to go back down to the lobby to get a remote. The staff was very friendly and helpful they also spoke English very well. The breakfast buffet was pretty good but the eggs were cold. The location is great with many attractions within walking distance.
good location, large rooms, helpful friendly staff. the breakfast is so-so decent for argentina - not just sweets, also a fair amount of fruit, as well as some ham and cheese. they also referred me to take a bike tour which was quite good.
I recently traveled to Buenos Aires for a business trip and enjoyed my stay at Dazzler San Telmo very much. The location is great and the room was modern and clean. Despite my limited Spanish, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They even went to additional length to help me ship my suit jacket internationally when I accidentally left in in the hotel room when I left. I would highly recommend this hotel.
I had a decent experience with this hotel. The staff were friendly when I was there, helped me with figuring out a way to get to their hotel, and also with my departure arrangements. The rooms are fairly large, and I stayed there with a roommate during our visit. The Wifi is rather spotty in the rooms but they work well in the lobby and breakfast area. The location is okay, and quiet. I ended up walking to the other side of town to get into the local action, but I really don't mind this location. Plus Intercontinental is across the street and they have a decent bar that opens late if you're desperate.
We found this hotel across the street from The Intercontinental. The hotel is located in downtown area. Its in walking distance from a lot of shops. The room was big with a leather couch and cleanish. However, the staff was not very friendly, not rude at all, but just indifferent. The staff needs a little training on customer service, being friendlier and welcoming.
