Very basic rooms, nothing to do with 'boutique' definition. Basic breakfast. No iron or board in the rooms, I had to call to get them bring an iron to the room. I did the pressing on the bed. While checking out they wanted me to wait for someone to go the room and check the minibar. I travel a lot and it is the first time such thing happened to me.

This place is small, quiet, modern, and clean within 3 blocks of the Cemetery and many restaurants and parks. Everyone was very helpful, knowledgeable and considerate. And it was not that expensive considering location and amenities!

Wonderful spacious room with patio. Shower was hot with great water pressure. Was a nice buffet breakfast with lots of choices, the hotel restaurant had good choices and fair prices for lunch and dinner Front desk staff was wonderful, very helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if ever in Buenos Aires.

We stayed here at the beginning and the end of a tour through Patagonia. The hotel is well-located, the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean; the breakfast was good; and the staff members, especially Alejandra, were wonderful! We needed to leave a few things at the hotel to reduce our luggage weight while flying to Chile and back, and Alejandra took care of everything--and made sure the items we left were waiting for us in our rooms when we returned. I enthusiastically recommend this hotel.

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip to Argentina. We booked our second stay based on our experience of the first when we initially arrived in BA, however our second experience didn’t quite live up to our first. Our first room was on the 8th floor, it had a balcony and a view (although this view was one of other buildings, however this is to be expected in a large city, so no issue with that) and was large and bright, if fairly anonymous. The bathroom was a standard bathroom, with a good shower and it was very clean. No issues at all. Our second room, however (504 I think) was very dark, had very little natural light and had a view of other rooms in another wing of the hotel and no balcony. The door to the room was difficult to open and made scraping noises every time we opened or closed it, the bathroom door hinges were in desperate need of oiling, the floor was grubby and gritty and we had to switch the fridge off because it made so much noise. Other reviews have commented on the excellent breakfast. For us it was a standard adequate breakfast but definitely nothing to rave about and everything was artificially sweetened (fruit salad, juices, cereals). There were plenty of sweet pastries too - something which was prevalent throughout our trip so not peculiar to this hotel. HOWEVER, if you get a reasonable room that doesn’t overlook another room, it’s a hotel worth considering for the following reasons:- It’s located in a leafy suburb which is very safe, a 10 minute walk (max) from the Recoleta Cemetery and a good base for exploring that part of the city. There are some great bars and restaurants just outside the cemetery. We walked everywhere from here, including to San Telmo (a fairly long walk, admittedly). The staff are helpful and on both occasions when we arrived in the morning, our room was available - enormously helpful after a 14 hour flight and it meant we could begin exploring the city quickly. It’s only 10 to 15 minutes to AEP, the domestic airport from which all internal flights depart and arrive (at a cost of approx 300 pesos), which is very convenient, especially for an early flight. The hotel can arrange for a transfer from EZE airport at a fixed cost of approx 1150 pesos - handy for when you arrive and not that much more than a standard taxi would cost during rush hour. It's a shame there isn't a 'good' rating category for reviews as I don't think the hotel actually fits my 'very good' criteria but I think it's better than 'average'. This is a medium rated hotel that did exactly what we expected for the most part; it’s a good value choice for the start or end of your trip to Argentina and I would stay here again.

We recently stayed at the ARC Recoleta for a few days at the beginning of an Argentinean vacation. We would definitely stay there again. Here are the pros and cons: PROS: --Great location. Recoleta is very central for touring. --Breakfast. It was more extensive than we expected--we . Scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit choices, many delicious pastries beautifully displayed, cold cuts and cheeses. --Shower. Modern bathroom and fantastic overhead rain shower with GREAT water pressure. What a joy after an overnight flight. --Staff. Very friendly and helpful with a good command of English. --Space. Nice boutique feel. Delightful garden in the back and rooftop pool. --Beds. Very comfortable. CONS: --Honestly can't think of any.

It is a very cozy boutique hotel with friendly staff. I needed a room where they could accommodate my whole family (1 adult + 3 children) and this one one of the very few that had this type of room. The breakfast is included and delicious. It is well located as well.

We started in Buenos Aires for our Patagonia trip. The hotel is in a wonderful part of town. Very close to the Recoleta Cemetery, walking distance to the Ateneo Grand Splendid bookstore, 2 blocks from the highly rated Roux restaurant. So for the short 24 hours we were there we did a lot. Not to mention the great breakfast and the very courteous front desk staff.

Nice smaller hotel. Slept 4 snugly but comfortably. Beds are fine. Shower was small but nice shower head and worked fine. Walkable to the Recoleta square, maybe a 15 min walk. That area had more history and a different look that immediately near the hotel. Cemetery was close, maybe a 5-10 min walk. Across from cemetery is also a number of restaurants and bars. Excellent cheese store across the street from the hotel. One night we bought beer and wine, and then cheese – all from across the street. Made for nice happy hour at the roof top pool. Pool is small and closes at 8pm, but has a nice deck area and very relaxing. Staff is friendly and helpful. Concierge set us up for a city tour, but in Spanish. Tour operator put us on the bilingual bus, so it all worked out.

This hotel is in a good location within the city, but not too far in that it’s noisy at all times. Although the laundry service can be done within a day (providing it’s dropped off before 10am), it’s rather steeply priced, and although this can’t really be helped due to the layout of the building, it was rather annoying to have the sauna and jacuzzi on floor -1 (with the gym and spa), and having the swimming pool on floor 10. Overall though this a great place to stay if you’re coming to Buenos Aires for a visit
