I'm a loyal fan of the Loyal Duke Lodge and its easy access to the mountains and Salida. My fellow patrons were active and friendly folks who, like me, were happy to return to the lodge after busy days on the river or up in the heights. The dual hot tubs and the fire pit, along with other outdoor sitting areas made it a fun place to stay.
Was a great place to stop for a hot shower and comfortable bed!

Great value for such a cool spot. It’s close to restaurant options and highway systems. The front desk was great with helping get logistics around the area and for great food options. I’d definitely stay here again!
It took my 2 mins to check in. when I reserve a room online, it can be irritating when I have to stand there for 15 mins while someone enters my info. They already had everything done and if I would not have a had a pet with me, they would have just handed me my key.
Fabulously renovated motel. The mountain themed rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They also gave us a great recommendation for dinner and drinks at the brewery down the street. We would happily stay here again!

Staff was so friendly and room clean. Walls are thin so we turned on room fan for noise so all was well.
