Excellent small hotel located 15 minutes from center of tourist activities. Great breakfast. Immaculately clean hotel. Rooms not as luxurious as pictures imply. Tomas at front desk was an outstanding help. Not a true 4 star, but highly recommended.

As per above : Excellent location, breakfast, clean room !

The hotel personnel treated us like royalty. The room was very clean, quite comfortable. The breakfast room is beautiful, with a full hot breakfast plus typical European. Recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest.

This hotel offers good options and value of money. Definitely returning to it when I visit Budapest again.

Just an average place, but great for price, needed a better distance to downtown, but actually transportation was easy access across the street.

It was in a good location. Close to Keleti station But the staffs were horrible. Front desk agent was extremely rude and bellman brought me a knife when I called front desk to bring me a razor since I forgot to bring it. And he never came back again.. They need to be educated how to satisfy their guests

Weak wifi overall, nice clean and big rooms, friendly and helpful stuff, small tv with only 12 channels, a small park was close by and we liked to stroll with our baby after breakfasts. if you like to walk and explore, the hotel is in walking distance to almost all attractions. Open buffet breakfast was okay. Not many choices.

I've stayed at a few hotel in Budapest and this one stands out. I've stayed at less expensive hotels and then after paying for breakfast, I realize I end up paying more elsewhere than to stay here, where breakfast is included. The breakfast is excellent---hot eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, pastries, fruit and more. Great value. The rooms are extremely clean and good sized. Bathroom is modern. I would not hesitate to stay here again. I took the shared van from the aiport here and then from here to the airport again. I bought the shared van ticket from the hotel for about $15 US. At the airport it was $19 US, a bit more. From the hotel its a 5 minute walk to the tram. There is a large supermarket on the coner 1 minute walk up the block where I was able to buy milk, jiuce, bread and cheese for any meal when I didn't feel like eating out. Front desk was very informative and spoke English fluently.

The hotel itself was very clean and extremely close to the train station, however I had one issue which was my shower drain was clogged. The water would take forever to go down resulting in me taking 30 second showers so I didn't flood the bathroom (it was a handicapped shower, not a tub, so the water shoots straight down onto the floor). I showed the staff and the gentleman explained that it was "normal." After trying to explain to him that it was not normal and instead very clogged, I just gave up. I was hardly ever in my room. I spent maybe 2 hours a night there just to sleep. There is so much to do in Budapest and so much to see that I doubt you will be in your room to care that much. At least for me it was like that.

I arrived at Budapest Keleti station late night and this hotel was a short 10 minute walk. It is located just off Rakoczi street which is a major artery that goes from Keleti straight to the city center. Room was comfortable although quite basic in terms of amenities. WiFi was fast and worked well which I always look for at places I stay. Breakfast is pretty good with a wide selection and the ambience is nice. Receptionist was fluent in English and helped with questions about sightseeing tour buses

The room was cold, no heater and since the floor is bare we had a very cold night. The room and bathroom very little closet space. No drawers in the room and no useable shelfs in the bathroom. The bathroom had a smell to old urine.

The breakfast buffet is not over the top but is very good, eggs, dried meats cheeses, breads very European and more than enough to satisfy a persnickety palate. The wifi is good and the AC is more than enough......

Was very good. Isn't so near to downtown, but is easy and quick to go there. The location is excelent for who are traveling by train.

Great location and price. Very easy access to the train and tram made travelling in and out of the city very easy. The mall near the hotel (10 minute walk max) offered nice shopping and distractions from your typical site-seeing activities. Great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to get the most for their money.

The Hotel Bristol was a perfect fit for my first trip to Europe. It is perfectly located within walking distance to the train station and metro which will take you anywhere. The staff were amazing!!!! This trip would not have been as successful without their tireless efforts helping me navigate the city. The room was neat clean and had a small refrigerator. The only negative comment I will make was the number of TV stations available. I will most definitely stay here again!!!!

The hotel was very comfortable and the location quite convenient. They offer a very good selection for breakfast, which is included with the room. The service was excellent in every respect. Everybody was cordial and helpful to us.

We attended a dance festival one metro stop from the hotel. This is one of the nicest hotels we have used. Cleaner than most and cheaper than most.

The hotel is very close to Keleti-pu station (about 5 min walk). Pretty close to all main attractions either by foot or you can take a tube. Very nice hotel. Great service, good breakfast and friendly staff!

Big room, very clean and new. Bathroom very spacious. Next to a noisy street, but located in a side alley, very quiet. The breakfast, buffet-style, abundant and well prepared, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, bread. I missed some more pastries, though. Very close to the metro, you can be everywhere in 15 min. Not great choice of restaurants around, but everything within walking distance or short metro ride.

good breakfast and a pleasant hotel experience
