Bad staff bad Housekeeping bad service , They forgot to put coverlet to the room we ask about that they send us small blanket instead of coverlet ' The brekfast is little choose its limited Its not worth it ..
Very nice older Ibis hotel. It is located directly across the street from the M3 Metro line and a myriad of other buses going to all parts of the city. Check-in was fast and friendly. I had requested a room away from the street side due to all the buses at the station across the street. I was given a room on the backside of the hotel which also had a balcony as do all the other rooms. It looked out onto trees a patio, and lawn it was like being in your own very private garden. The room was typical Ibis. Comfortable bed, wifi, and tv. It also looked as though it undergone some renovations. A safe is provided at reception if needed. The bathroom was clean and offered a bathtub shower combination Breakfast was served each morning in a large breakfast room. It was buffet style and offered numerous food items. Enough to keep you full until lunch. The hotel is used by some fairly large tourist groups, mostly bus tours, but they are generally up and away before most other guests arrive for breakfast. Soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. All in all a pleasant stay.
Our flight from Budapest to Lisbon was canceled and we needed to stay over night at the airport. The Ibis was excellent. The room was clean, in fact, I think it was brand new. It still had new-carpet smell. The dinner we had in the restaurant was one of the best meals I had in Budapest. The staff was helpful and friendly. This hotel made an unpleasant situation pleasant. Thank you.
I would say this hotel should be probably on the lower part of your list unless money is really a problem and no idea where to go. First of all I couldnt not to notice all the hair stuck on wall tiles from moping the floor in the bathroom :( also their is some weird stench similiar to sulphur coming once you open a tap water.) Bed is more like a crate padded with yoga matress and very uncomfortable to sleep on and also gets very hot from body heat. If your room is facing street there is a lot of noise coming from it as a bus station is right in front. And even more annoying is that during the night when it gets cold the metal frame for canvas infront of building wall keeps cracking whole night due to temperature difference and sounds like somebody is throwing rocks at metal sheet. Breakfast is very mediocre, however it does the trick for couple of days. The staff is nice to help and room looks pretty much same as shown on pictures. But once again I would pass. P.S.:wifi is slow sometimes and majority of guests are asian running around the rooms and knocking on doors late at night
A short 10 minute drive from the airport. Staff were very helpful and attentive for my short stay. The rooms have all the usual bits and pieces typical of an Ibis. Clean and tidy and the food was nice from the bar. Breakfast was included and typical continental food and some hot dishes too.
Avoid room facing the boulevard this the most important thing in order to have good stay. The boulevard it is really noise and the windows isolation is not optimum. The break fast was average nothing special but not bad. The rooms typical ibis style. The bathroom it was not comfortable. Old one, my shower was broken and water pressure was not enough for good shower. The hotel itself and the rooms are clean. Staff is friendly and cooperative.
I stayed in the Ibis Aero from early November 2017 until the end December 2017. The hotel is an Ibis chain so you get what you pay for, however, I found the rooms comfortable, the bed particularly. The rooms at the rear of the hotel tend to have less street noise. Where I think this hotel scores over some other Ibis hotels I've stayed in is completely down to the staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and it seems nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is kept very clean and tidy which is good to see and in particular the dining area. I found the hotel also very well situated to visit the center of Budapest. The metro is a 2 minute walk across the street and the cost of travel to Budapest is just 350 forrint each way and takes around 20 minutes. For a reasonably priced stay to visit Budapest I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Nice hotel, clean room. Staff visited us daily to change bedding or to ask if we need something. The location is ok (about 5 km to center). The metro station is right in front of the hotel. We didn't had breakfast but we tried burgers. They were not great but they were good and the portion was large enough.
Nice hotel, small rooms and bathroom but has everything you need. Breakfast was adequate, not great but good enough. It's at least 11 metro stops to centre of Budapest so not central at all. Buy train tickets and validate as metro police are everywhere. We actually ate dinner at hotel as well and that was very good.
I concur with earlier reviews regarding the lack of insulation and of electric sockets, especially near the beds. The whole hotel is in need of a refresh, and you have to choose the location of the room well if you want to avoid noise. However, if you have an early morning flight to catch from Ferihegy, it is a convenient 15 minute taxi ride from the hotel. I found the staff friendly and really helpful, both in pre-arrival correspondence, and on site.
