ibis Budapest Aero3.0 out of 5.0

No facilities whatsoever in the rooms - tv was pointless as the reception was so poor, no facilities for making tea, coffee etc in room. Breakfast selection could be expanded - and the coffee... the less that's said about it the better, I don't know how to politely describe how awful it was!
As soon as I knew I was coming back to Budapest, there was only going to be one hotel that I would stay in, the Ibis Aero Hotel. Great staff, great location, great food, clean and comfortable accommodation.
Located a little distance away from the main city center its an ideal hotel for tourists traveling on a budget to stay for a couple of days. The rooms and bathroom are clean and well maintained. The furnishing is basic but adequate the bed is comfortable to sleep on.There is TV but no electric kettle. The Continental breakfast is good, but not much choice if you happen to be a vegetarian. There is a nice little garden with deck chairs to relax on. If you happen to spend most of your time roaming around Budapest and need a comfortable place to spend the night I would recommend this hotel.
My partner and I stayed here on a group tour. The hotel facilities itself are quiet nice and new. Staff was more than helpful with everything. However location is poor. We did have a good burger down in the lobby.
Superb location of the hotel (close to the airport and ring-road) and great staff, that is professional, flexible and friendly makes the time in the hotel for business persons, that is always limited, pleasant and effective. In the case I do not need a hotel in the center of Budapest, I doubt I would ever need to search for different hotel than this - since I was fully satisfied there.
I picked this hotel because you know what to expect with a brand you know, and we wasn't disappointed! Rooms are clean well equipped and comfy. The hotel is well situated with a small bus journey away from the airport or cheap taxi ride. There is a metro station opposite the hotel where you can hop on and it's about 4 stops until you are in the centre. This hotel is great if you are happy to travel and explore the beautiful city. I can't comment on the food in the hotel as we didn't eat there. I would stay here again.
Water pressure okay, can't say something about the breakfast, as we didn't take one, reception superfriendly, rooms somewhat ok. They were clean. But:Perhaps it's just a different perspective but this hotel seems to need renewal in the next time. I was there beginning of 2016 the first time and had much better opinion. Perhaps it's just a different prespective or a different room. Somewhere in the hotel was a humming noise. People sensitive to sound would have problems. Hope they repair that. There small little bits that are not really much and doesn't really hinder a comfortable stay, but i would like a undamaged towel. The parking in front of the hotel is not longer free (as it's a municipal parking and not a hotel parking, but there is a parking lot at the side for 10€). I think for the price it's relatively okay, but i think i would opt for other hotels in the future. Don't understand me wrong, it's okay, but i see a trajectory here. You can have a healthy sleep there in any case. Okay, except one of the biggest lightning shower of the recent time gives you a spectacular view from the 4 floor.
You get value for a reasonable price. Super nice stuff, delicious food, the beautiful garden is a perfect place for morning coffee! plus one big advantage that you can reach the city center in 15 min by metro and in 10 min the airport (by car)
Hotel is ok, without being special. Adequate for our travel with Metro station directly opposite hotel. Free breakfast was adequate, and hotel staff were very helpful. Rooms nice & clean, with free wifi.
lousy hotel at a big distance from the center of Budapest. Breakfast is poor (burned eggs), for a diner you can get a hamburger. Noisy front rooms. Large bus stop and lots of traffic in front of hotel. rooms are small, bedding is synthetic. you can reach the center of Budapest within about 15min with the metro, but you'd better look for a decent hotel more close to the center. Although it is called aero, it is about 15km from the airport. The city center is at 5km. There is no need to stay here if you want to be close to the airport. Avoid this one if you can.
