Was very disappointed with this hotel. While the room itself was fine- everything else was pretty bad. The hallway smelled like fried oil. The AC was very weak, and did not cool down the room. We put our towels in the bathtub so that we could get fresh towels and after a day at the thermal baths returned to find that our dirty towels were still sitting there and our room had not been cleaned. Would not recommend this hotel.

The place seems like a throw back to another era, but the staff was gracious and professional... The room is a good size with a little refrigerator. The downside is that it has a all purpose soap dispenser in the bathroom with soap that is more suited for washing dishes, I would never put that soap on my body or hair. There is a salon before the station where I got my hair washed and blow dry for less than 10 dollars. So if you choose this hotel bring your own amenities not unless you don't mind washing yourself with dish detergent with no wash cloth.

This place is a few steps from the keleti station and the metro. Nice staff. Great price. Clean rooms.

Walking distract to great places to eat. Metro station right there. Excellent

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and made our stay a wonderful experience.I would definitely recommend this hotel which is within 300 m of Keleti station and shopping.

It is located very conveniently to the main EY train station (in case you want to travel to the rest of the EU during your visit), staff are very friendly and courteous, it is located close to the metro and bus station, you can even walk once you get out of the hotel. The room I had was comfortable, the water pressure for the shower was not too powerful but not bad either, the room was clean, totally worth the $. I have plan to stay there again next time :-)

The hotel staff was very patient as I came along a number of difficulties prior to my arrival. I found the location very accessible to many of the main attractions. The hotel location made getting around the city very easy without use of public transportation or a taxi.

comfortable room but a/c works poorly . bugs floating in drink dispensers at breakfast told manager and was told they like the sweet stuff and get in when changing refills.Sorry! food not much better dried out. little flavor. good location near trains and buses. area has many homeless sleeping on main street side walks all day and night..sirens all day and night get a room in the rear of hotel.

I was looking for a great value and very near the hop on hop off bus stop, and I found it here! It is considered the largest hotel (or at least the most rooms). Breakfast was a real buffet, but more cafeteria style and rather crowded. Otherwise I'd recommend this hotel for the price and comfort.

close to train station. room very nice. breakfast not so good. insufficient staff to keep food presentation clean and filled. utensils not clean and sticky. coffee machine empty 2/2 mornings. carpet in dining room unclean and littered with trash.

basic breakfast , the location is 2 km from the center

We stayed for 3 nights, room was comfortable and clean.

I loved the hotel and loved staying there. Hope I can comeback.

The hotel is average, no great luxury, It's an average 4 star hotel.

the hotel is near the train station, but a little too far from the center of Budapest. The area is in need of a serious cleaning and renovation. Budapest has so many thing to offer, get on the tour buses the runs in front of the hotel, the are cheap and give you a chance to choose which places you should see. Don't miss out on the marked and the roman bath in Keller. Don't exchange in the street, but enjoy the wonderful city of Budapest.

Room spatious. Staff friendly. Felt like a real Best Western hotel.

Overall ok experience. We lost money and think it was stolen from our room, but it is impossible to proof or know for sure. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the rooms were clean. The biggest issue was that several times other guests were partying extremely loud until after 3am - which made it difficult to sleep.

The Rest. has some strange hrs, example: dinner only after 7pm, very late to eat for me. I wished they would provide wash cloths and maybe some lotion, but overall, a pleasant stay.

I stayed at this location because I am a member of Best Western Rewards. I thought the hotel was PERFECTLY located if you are travelling my train. it is literally across the street from the International train station and is about a 3 minute walk to the local trains and buses. Check in was GREAT! They were super nice. Made me laugh after a 13 hour flight. Breakfast was great. Lots of meats, pastries, cheese, eggs (all ways), and of course coffee. It was crowded but not uncomfortable. the DOWNSIDE to breakfast is it is 8€ per person and that is just ridiculous! Made service came twice a day. THAT was great. No gym to workout in. Wanted to get a pedicure and manicure but the lady wasn't open. i checked out at 0530 because I had a train at 0630. The checkout clerk was VERY rude. I think he was tired from being up all night. OH WELL. Overall I give this place a 7/10. Location to the train station, maid service, and the CHECK-IN staff is why I scored it as high as a 7. I DO recommend this location.
