We went to see a concert at the sports arena so the location was perfect. It was a 4 minute walk. But the hotel itself was definitely a budget hotel. I wouldn't call it a 4 star at all. Maybe 2 star? The bed was really uncomfortable and creaky. No curtains so just not dark enough to sleep. The breakfast was well what can I say? No wander it was free. But all in all you get what you pay for and we had a great weekend
Attention : if you book this hotel be careful it's not as good as what you see on the photo beds are not good and noise we ask receptionist to change our room but no help ,breakfast was very basic in total four out of teen.
We were on our way back from our holiday in Crotia, and wanted a nice place to stay at on our last vacation day, which was also our wedding anniversary. BIG mistake. We arrived at around 10pm. The whole area around the hotel was dark and did not seem very safe. When entering the lobby there were 5 men just hanging around the lobby. It looked very dangerous. The clerk was very nice, though. We got our key and went up to the room. First problem: we could not turn on the light. We had to go down and get the clerk and he turned the light on (there was a second switch on the ceiling unit which had to be turned on). With the light on I started noticing the problems: Very old furniture The tv remote had duct tape on it The window did not close properly Went to take a shower, no surprise, the drain was clogged and the cabin was old and moldy. Very confy bed to my surprise though. Fast forward to morning. I tried to close the blinds, of course they did not work. Went down to have breakfast. Very unfriendly staff here. Food not tasty at all. So as the title says, stay away if you have 4 star expectations. For the same price you could get a much better 3 star hotel.
We were up for a weekend in Budapest and got a really good price for our stay in the hotel. Hotel has a secure garage and a parking lot in the garden, although we asked for a parking spot we had to park in the garden and a parking price was same as the garage parking. Reception staff is a little bit slow and can be startled with an unexpected question. Location of the hotel is good, near the metro station, but there were no good restaurants near the place. Room was average, it was clean, cozy, it had air conditioning, tv with only hungarian channels and the reception on the tv was pretty bad, Wi-fi signal was good, view from the room was terrible, but there are lots of places in the city to see so that didn't minded us. Room had safe and a small fridge that was empty and really noisy, we turned it off. We had water kettle and some complementary tea and coffee. Sleeping was pretty bad, not uncomfortable but beds are really, really noisy. All in all it was an average room. Breakfast is pretty low standard for a hotel with four stars, on many occasions I saw people standing, waiting for something to be brought to the table, sometimes I was one of them, but we weren't hungry. Coffee is really bad, espresso can be ordered, for a price of course. All things considered we enjoyed our stay, the price for the room matched the overall experience, for the same price we would definitely come back.
This hotel is a complete DISASTER!!! The room was extremely dirty, bathroom was terrible, to the point where it was impossible to use it. The sheets were not clean and the mattress was rather a remnant from a previous century! Sanitary level is below zero. Don't be fooled by the pictures. This hotel is nowhere near a 4* hotel, it would be one of the worst even among 1* hotels. Hugely disappointed and would NOT reccommend it to anyone, it is a waste of money.
We were visiting the city due to a sports event and the hotel had a good proximity to the sports venue. All in all the premises are very basic and lack any charm or character. We had a triple room which was rather big, I could say, however with minimum comfort. I am reluctant in describing in as clean, as there stains were found in carpet and bed cover. Reception staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was rather poor and lacked quality. Lots of peaple crammed in restaurant during morning rush hour. There was a small restaurant nearby so to cover basic needs and a large shopping in walking distance.Nice italian restaurant there. Unfortunately no other decent restaurant in area. Metro station was nearby ( line M2), so this was a plus, as one could reach downtown in a few minutes. Overall, next time I will be in Budapest I will look for another hotel...
We expected a lot less considering the price. It was amazing! Clean big room with a comfortable bed, near to the city center, pleasant receptionist and on the top- a great breakfast. Plus it is really cheap. Perfect for a weekend stay.
I was in few 4* hotels and I think even if it is officially a 4* hotel, it does not look as one fo them. I see there few problems: - cleaning of rooms and premises is imperfect - breakfast is simple, aiming for quantity rather on quality/variety - doors do not have mechanism which would close them "softly". I was awaken every night due to the fact somebody in different room was leaving and closing of doors was so loud.. - it seemed to me that hotel is understaffed - surroundings of the hotel are not nice good was: - position of the hotel, near metro station - 24/7 reception - garden has potential to be nice and cozy place, but it is not used - AC in every room
Great Hotel! The rooms are huge , comfortable and very clean. The Hotel is near the underground metro and you can access the center of town in 15 minutes. Staff kind and professional , Thank you very Much !!
We choose this hotel because it is close to Papp Laszlo Arena as we went to a concert there. The reception is nice and friendly, but the room was terrible. The door didn't cloose completly, the carpet was dirty. Furniture handle broken, wardrobe was dirty inside. The bed pillows are hard. Breakfast is varied but poor quality and coffee some of the worst I've had.
