I recommend this hotel. Everybody is friedly en professional. The room we stayed in was fresh and clean and the breakfast in the hotel was amazing. Next visit in Budapest i will go back to this perfect hotel

We chose this location due to very special offerfor a 5 stars facility which includes the breakfast in New York Cafe. The room. We chose was big, having a rent apartment facilitues like kitchen and washing machine which was very useful. Space was also good enough. Location perfect - near subway, near supermarket and walking distance from city center (20-30 minutes of easy walk). Parking place was a plus too although nobody mentioned on the booking website is 20 Euros/day... These hotels started to make money from your car entertainment - you pay for parking as as for 2-3 stars hotels room... Norma? I don't think so. At leadt should be mention in booking website so you know what expect. The look and feel of the room is not for 5 stars nut a good 4 stars (if to compare it with many great 5 stars hotels I stayed). The cleanes wss also not so impressive but get much better after we tip the cleaning lady. Internet was OK and free. The TV very small and without relevant entertainment channels for foreigners. Service was good although you could feel, beyond the smile, a bit of arrogance. Overall for the price we paid (90 Euros) per night with breakfast at New York Cafe for 2 pers. included, I would say was OK. Ah, on top you add the 20 Euros for parking so actually the room was 110 Euros per night. The breakfast at New York Cafe was very good, with Hungarian dishes, wide selection of coffee and champagne (I like that) and a very friendly stuff. I daw the one served in the residence and was far more poor so for 5 Euro difference per person per night you can have it in New York Cafe. Overall a convenient stay. Enjoy!

We wanted to have somewhere close to a Metro station. We also needed to cater for ourselves in the mornings. The apartments are well equiped giving you the flexibility to eat in or out. There is a Safeway supermarket across the road. The Boscolo Residence is in easy walking distance of the city centre. The reception staff are excellent and willing to help.

We had a great time, and really enjoyed the five-star stay! Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Lovely room - felt very luxorious. Great with both a shower and a bath. New York cafe breakfast was lovely.

Appartment are clean, calm and properly equipped. Hotel personnal is very nice. They rapidly changed our room, the first one didn't correspond to our expectation. Hotel location is very good, not far from restaurant and subway station.

Me and my husband chose to stay here for 4 nights a few days after our wedding. In advance I did email reservations making them aware it was an extremely special occasion for us. We did book a 'Grand Suite' to make sure we were guaranteed the 'grand experience' Despite doing this, we ended up checking into the worst room (585) No colour in this room whatsoever, no décor, no cosy feel. It was so cold and dreary. How could this room be classed as a grand suite? As soon as we checked in to the room I went down to the reception and requested a room change, to which the kind receptionist luckily moved us to another one. Only difference in this one was it had red pillows and a red carpet? Everything else was still cold and dreary. Plates and cups were dirty too. Next morning I felt so uncomfterable I emailed the same reservation team. It's really not what we had in mind for our relaxing break. Long story short, Reception ended up moving us to the most amazing room with a view of the busy Budapest city life, gorgeous colours, beautiful warm and cosy. Exactly what we needed and expected. I couldn't help but wonder if this room was available and not in use why they didn't just allocate us this in the first place? Knowing it was such a special occasion, I expected better from the 'Boscolo Residence' and their reservations team. Maybe a good lesson to pay more attention to your guests. Is also false advertised on most websites as its actually placed to the back of a nicer, modern hotel and to the New York Café. To get to this part we had to take 2 lifts to get to it every morning. I wish I had of known and would have booked the hotel next to New York Café in the first place. The website we booked it on made it look like that was all the same building and were no difference. The location itself was great, very easy to get to and from all the main attractions. Gave us a great opportunity to explore of the city. Close to a variety of places to eat, bars etc. The New York Café was truly remarkable, the staff are very attentive and polite. Breakfast was amazing to go to every morning, me and my husband couldn't fault that side of the hotel at all! Was gorgeous.

We stayed at the Boscolo Residence January 2018 and had a great experience. The rooms in the residence are spacious, clean and with a bath tub (at least in our room). The Residence is physically connected with the Boscolo hotel and if you choose the New York Cafe breakfast option you can walk from your room to the boscolo hotel and the cafe. I also highly reccomend to choose the option of breakfast there, it is a great experience. As for the Spa its basically a swimming pool and a sauna in the Boscolo Hotel, not very extensive but enough to defrost you on a cold winter day. as a downside we found it hard to control the temperature in the room (too hot) and when we opened the windows it got seriously cold during the night. Also a small remark, during the check out the receptionist passionately blew her nose before immideately after giving back our receipt and credit card, i found this very unhygienic and somewhat rude. all in all we were happy with our stay, would definetly reccomend it and would be happy to stay here again. Good value for the money.

My husband and I booked a 4 night break at The Boscolo Residence in December, it was a last minute Christmas getaway and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked a grand suite and on arrival got upgraded. Our room was lovely, clean, spacious, covered 2 floors and had 2 external balconies with views out towards the direction of hero’s square. Only minor negative was there was no kettle and being typically British would have liked a good cuppa... however, there was a complimentary drinks machine in reception so no big deal. Our package included breakfast at the New York Cafe which was outstanding and highly recommend choosing the option as it will make your stay even more special. Lovely hotel (although not too close to the river but a manageable 15 minute walk) and beautiful city.

We arrived here at 4 am as our flight had been delayed to be told our reservation could not be found. When they finally found our reservation and organised a room, it was an hour later! The location of the aparthotel is great - very close to local bars and clubs - actually within walking distance. There is also a supermarket and metro station very closeby. You can also reserve treatments from the main hotel which is stunning (and excellent for a hangover) but this need to be booked in advance. There is a small kitchenette with the room - our room for 3 was tiny but as they 'forgot' our reservation i think they gave us smaller than we had paid for. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable.

Perfect stay on the occasion of my wife's birthday: upgrade to suite on arrival; enjoyed breakfast in the outstanding New York Cafe; relaxing in spa on a snowy Sunday morning. Couldn't have been better! Highly recommend Boscolo.
