Hotel was average, room was fine, clean and everything you'd expect from a 3 star. Breakfast wasn't great and hotel is about 15 minutes from most of the best places in Budapest. Great service from the hotel staff when planning our adventures.

Visited this hotel with my husband for a short break. We were not at all impressed when we arrived with the location. It is in a rough area with a lot of homeless people and drunks in the street. Our room can at best be described as dated . The only electric socket that worked sparked when used. The reading lamp's fittings were taped together and too dangerous to use. The en suite was comparatively new but damaged with cracks to the toilet and the wash basin. The breakfast would have been adequate if the drinks machines were working correctly but alas they were not. On our 5 day stay the room was cleaned twice we found rubbish under the bed from a previous guest. Budapest is a beautiful city but our trip was let down by this hotel.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Would not recommend it to anyone and that goes for the 15 other people I travelled with. Room was not cleaned or made up. Food wasn't very good. It was more like a hostel than a three star hotel. I wouldn't give it more than one star

My boyfriend and I went to stay at this hotel on our first holiday together. I bought it for his 18th birthday through Thomson, who mislead me. As soon as we arrived on the street I was disappointed. It's not safe, it is noisy, and the outside of the hotel is not even remotely welcoming. On the way to our room, the corridors were dark and we had to find all the light switches ourselves. We immediately noticed the huge gap under the door, which you can see in the photos, which was certainly over an inch, making the room feel insecure. The room itself was unclean, the most disturbing thing being several blood smears in the bathroom - this is basic hygiene and should have been cleaned. There was a lot of dust by the bed lamps and the TV, stains on sofas, carpets and bedding, bulbs missing, and lights that didn't work. There's also no safe or air conditioning. As a 17 year old girl on her first holiday abroad, I felt unsafe and unclean in this hotel. Luckily mine and my boyfriends parents immediately booked us a new hotel and we should be getting a refund soon. We left as soon as possible the next morning so didn't even try their breakfast (which looked disgusting). If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would.

I ended up in a double bed with my father-in-law, but this was no fault of the hotel. Staff were brilliant, food decent, area interesting and drinks at the hotel bar very reasonable. A very decent smoking area was provided in the rear courtyard and it was pleasant to meet many people from many nationalities in such pleasant surroundings.

Traveling ismay hoppy,it is good thruogh those sites and facilities . I get so good benefits and helping.. All praises and services are stasfaid. Waiting for more pounes and lower offers, comfortable hotel rooms

I was impressed with this hotel in many ways. The room was large and offered a nice view of the interesting street. The included breakfast was excellent. The hotel is also just a fifteen minute walk from a couple of hop-on- hop-off bus stops, and even closer to the subway. I was particularly impressed by a young man at the desk when late one evening I mentioned a really loud, irritating squeal from the door to the elevator area on the sixth floor. I was hoping it would be repaired the next day but instead it was taken care of within the hour. I also appreciated the availability of a safety deposit box at the main desk. You need to be aware that the area is full of drunks, but none of them were at all aggressive and they added local colour. All in all I was pleased and will stay there again if I return to Budapest..

Good stay in Budapest. + Big and clean room, good breakfast, the staff was friendly, close to the the city center and public transport, easy access. - Hotel on bad neighbourhood, but for one night is OK.

On the whole reasonably clean. The street the property is on definitely isn't tourist friendly and wouldn't recommend walking along it on your own at night. Hairdryers, irons need to be rented, no safe in room. heating constantly on and no air con in room.

Stayed as part of a (quiet) school group last week. Hotel is well placed for attractions, metro and shopping but the tram runs outside all night. Room was tatty but clean. Quilt was tiny though and the pillows were too thin. Breakfast was fine. Areas not the best so need to be cautious if you have young girls with you. Other school groups were a massive problem, noisy and banging on our students doors all night after they complained to the hotel staff. Their teachers were nowhere in sight. The noise echoes through the hotel so no sleep for anyone. Wouldn't recommend it when students are there unless they're ours!
