On the whole reasonably clean. The street the property is on definitely isn't tourist friendly and wouldn't recommend walking along it on your own at night. Hairdryers, irons need to be rented, no safe in room. heating constantly on and no air con in room.
Stayed as part of a (quiet) school group last week. Hotel is well placed for attractions, metro and shopping but the tram runs outside all night. Room was tatty but clean. Quilt was tiny though and the pillows were too thin. Breakfast was fine. Areas not the best so need to be cautious if you have young girls with you. Other school groups were a massive problem, noisy and banging on our students doors all night after they complained to the hotel staff. Their teachers were nowhere in sight. The noise echoes through the hotel so no sleep for anyone. Wouldn't recommend it when students are there unless they're ours!
It's very cheap and also has breakfast which is just bread, omlette, yogurt, milk with cereal and coffee. The ventilation in the bathroom in the room is awful. Every day we didn't get all of the towels so we had to ask in reception to have some more.( they gave them without a problem ). 2 slow elevators, you have to wait forever for them. Really nice staff, speak English well
Mother and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, we would stay here again on a return to Budapest. The Good: Green metro station is maybe 2 min walk/ Red metro 7min. St. Stephens Basilica and the chain bridge was a 25min walk for us. There are a few shops down the street were you can get a quick bite..mostly bread, pizza and Gyros or Turkish food. A small market is next to the green metro were you can get water, drinks, fruits and other edibles. Breakfast was very decent, variety of bread, eggs, sausage, yougurt, apples, juice/coffee, deli meats, cheese and cereal. The staff had great customer service, they were nice and willing to help with questions. I had a problem with our initial room and the manager promptly gave us another one. Rooms were kept clean, beds comfy enough. The Bad: During our stay the hotel was full with students, not sure if this a year round thing or if there was an event. This was bad because they were so loud, kept playing music and we could hear everything up until about 2-3am. (You can tell the staff and they will tell them to turn it down but at the end of the day we were just so tired we did not bother). The initial problem we had with our room was that it was a weird sort of room on the 8th floor (I think it was room 812), the window was a ceiling window and had no curtains, the sunlight woke us up at 5am!. the ceiling on top of the bed was so short, my mom is only 5"4 and she hit her head. But we explain this to the manager and she gave us a different room on the 4th floor so the problem was resolved.
We found a tidy, small and hot hotel room, but since it was just for sleeping, we found it quite good. It's really close to an underground station (literaly just around the corner), even though we did not use public transportations, we walked all over the city. The breakfast was okay, satisfying variety (croissants, various types of bread, fruit, yogurts, etc.) for a continental breakfast. The area is not the most pleasant, getting to the hotel at night we often felt unsafe, especially being two women, but it did not stop us from it.
Excellent room and breakfast. I like to recomend it to others. Near the centre of town. Good recomandation from people working in hotel. Parking inside hotel is super to have . Instruction from person's working in hotel are excellent. Inside room was bath - unbelivable, unexpected. All together we like to recommend this hotel to other people. Price was very good.
The staff were friendly but at the night time I complained 2 times at my stay of 3 nights, because of noise at the floors from a school group. The night staff looked at the cameras at saw some at the levels but never told them to leave. They did still run at the floors and smashing the doors. The breakfast is OK, but nothing to recommend. The wifi is bad. The only good thing was that the hotel was close to two metro stations. I will never recommend or visit this hotel again.
Everything was fine, breakfast was good, good location near metro, supermarket, wifi free, parking. Room was very simple, nothing luxury but enough for sleeping. Great budget hotel had everything we needed
Close to the centrum, the room is clean, good services but very noisy and has a few things missing like: a fridge and the carpet ( when i read the discription of the hotel, it was saying that you have a fridge and in the photos were carpets)
At the hotel we were advised by very pleasant people, the hotel has nice rooms, a very good breakfast, all employees are very helpfull. It was a pity that we could not check in before 2 pm as we arrived at 11 am but we could leave our luggage behind. There were a lot of brochures and a city map so we could go for a city visit right away. Also pleasant that we could withdrawl money at the hotel.
