Great location.

I was unable to check in due to it being locked up, and had to go to another motel. Contacted them thru "text" the next day to only get hateful feedback from whomever was on the other side. I could add so much more, but why waste my time.

Had issues with the bathroom plumbing. Lack of maintenance.

When we checked in the ac was making a loud noise. I texted the owner and got the room changed on our first night. Realized the second day that our new room did not have a hairdryer and the hot water went out after just one of us had a bath. when I called to ask for a hairdryer the owner said the electricity was going to go out from 11pm-3 am. I asked if there was a backup and she said this wasn't a resort like in Vegas. when asked if we would get nay compensation for the outage she said we could check out at 11 pm and go wherever we wanted. I told her it was too short notice to do anything and she just walked away while I was talking to her extremely rude behavior and definitely not a place I will be visiting again. never had someone walk out on my face when I was still talking to them.

Easy check in procedures

The front desk staff was very friendly. Overall the facilities is out dated, not very clean. The window in my room was unable to be closed, same with the window in the restroom.

Check-in was informative and easy. The motel is an older facility. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. There was no counter space or drawers. Doesn't it really come down to, "Would I stay there again?" Yes.

We just spent 4 nights at the Adobe Sands. It was clean, quiet, and pleasant. No screaming and annoying kids :). The room was nicely decorated. I liked the automatic air freshener. The breakfast was tasty and had the basics. If you want a fancy experience, go to the Hilton, but if you want an enjoyable trip, stay here. The towels were nice, not like sandpaper. The beds were comfy. The staff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it! I would suggest placing sheer curtains for some daytime privacy. The black-out curtains were awesome, but dark when closed.

The hotel was very dirty and cold and the beds were like sleeping on slate. The heaters took a long time to heat the room. So much so that they leave u a space heater to use. The furniture was dirty. The floor was dirty. You get what you pay for. However, for what it's worth, it was a place to stop and sleep in a (semi) warm bed. And the lady at the front desk was very pleasant and waited after hours for me to arrive. She had my paperwork and room key ready to go and had a big smile the whole time.

We tried to checkin early and the person at reception (I think it was the manager) was rather brusque in letting us know we need to come back at 4pm. The person checking us in the evening was very nice and helpful tho. Room was ok except that it seemed the sheets had not been changed as we found fingernails under the sheets. Bathroom and everything else was very clean tho. It was midnight when we noticed and reception was already closed so we didn't bother to complain then. Room was quiet and heating worked ok. However, next day at checkout, the same brusque person got quite defensive when we mentioned the fingernails.

The place is cute, each unit has its own SMALL water heater, so it was quick to run out. Breakfast was included, but not very imaginative, all frozen pop-tarts and microwaveable things. This is a great place for $39/night, anything higher is them taking advantage. The front desk staff was not very intuitive, there were 2 of us checking in, but the room only has one set of towels, when we called they told us we needed to come back to the lobby to get more, but it was pouring outside. So... We shared the small Amount of hot water and one towel... Such luxury.

We arrived to find our room was very dirty including the bathroom sink full of brown debris, backed up and clogged. I had to clean it myself. The shower head was at 5' level and broken, unable to point up. The TV only got one channel. The breakfast was all frozen foods that you microwaved and there was no tea, just coffee. Five appliances were all plugged into one outlet, stretched by an extension cord.

The hotel room and bathroom was dirty, the walls thin. The room was small. The good thing was that the heater came on in the night which helped since it was 30 degrees that night, so we were cozy.
